   The server was actually the bartender and he was great. The drinks were great and the lobster shrimp pasta was yummy. But the calamari (which is normally good) was greasy and rubbery. Like it was old and had been reheated and served. Disappointed in that. But everything else was great. Oh. It was very dark… too dark. Odd.

   The food was tasty but not outstanding. Our waitress took quite a bit of time to check on us throughout the evening and wasn't particularly friendly when asking for recommendations. Noise level was low but the place wasn't very busy. We've been to the restaurant several ties and will go back.

   I stay at the Arundel a lot for travel and while the menu is definitely a lot smaller than it used to be; thee quality of food or service hasn’t changed and is fabulous. Appreciate the recommendations and that we weren’t rushed out the door when we exceeded 2 hours. One negative though - not cool that neither of the hotel’s two restaurants is open Monday evenings.

   The service was not great. We received water in the beginning and did not receive a refill until we were about to leave (and had to request the water three times). The food was ok but the chicken parm was over cooked and dry so it had to go back. The chicken Alfredo was delicious.

   We were celebrating my fiance birthday and I made a note in my reservation to see if they did anything special. The food was good, nothing special. Ambience was romantic in a small setting. Music was loud so the guests had to raise their voices to be heard. At the end of the night the waitress remembered it was a special celebration and brought out a dessert with candle for the birthday. However, very disappointed that we were charged for the dessert that we didn't get to pick or eat because he couldn't eat the canolli. Little customer service with regards to that resolution, so disappointed we couldn't choose what we wanted and could eat. Future guests, make sure you make your server aware of what you're celebrating and what you want them to bring out! Disappointed at the customer service!

    We've always loved going to Vivo since it opened several years ago and are so happy to start dining out again. It's a very attractive and relaxing restaurant with a Tuscan atmosphere. It was very busy when we dined there on the Saturday before Valentines Day and they had a VD special menu in addition to their regular fare. I opted for the lobster ravioli from the special menu and my husband had the salmon that he loves there. Usually roasted potatoes are the same wherever you dine, but for some reason the ones at Vivo tasted so much better - in fact we brought the leftovers home which we normally don't do. The ravioli was absolutely delicious and I also brought the leftovers home to enjoy another evening. Our server was very pleasant and efficient and didn't get flustered when I asked for another plastic bag for my containers after explaining that I had set the first one on fire when it accidentally landed on the candle. Luckily my husband was able to snuff it out quickly before the smoke alarm could go off. We can't wait to go back and highly recommend it to everyone who loves good food and excellent service without breaking the bank.

    Service (Nicole) was outstanding. The quality of the ingredients really showed in the dishes. We have been coming here ever since it opened, but this was by far the best food and experience we’ve had to date.

    Our server was great, she was waiting on all of the tables in teh restaurant (or it appeared she was) but was still very attentive, fast, lots of fun, and had a great attitude. Food was excellent and the Octopus was to die for!

    The waiter was great and didn't rush us at all. The food was tasty but the chicken parm could have used a bit more flavor. Everyone that had the seafood pasta enjoyed it very much. The only negative was that the entire restaurant was empty when we arrived except two tables had people seated and we were seated at the table between them. With the COVID situation, I think it would be much better to seat people with distance between them, not all crammed into the same corner of the restaurant. And seating people throughout the place allows for more privacy for each party.

    Amazing little gem tucked away inside the building lobby. Shannon provided personal 5 star service and the mood and music was spot on for date night with the husband. The pasta and every item reminds me of the best Italian experience.

    Great food and spectacular service. It’s a nice fairly quiet restaurant with great ambiance. Nothing flashy or trendy. Our server was one of the best I’ve ever had and was very accommodating at all levels…even went as far as boxing up fresh bread and oil for us!

    We were thrilled when we found out Vivo was reopening after being closed during the worst part of the pandemic. We made a reservation and it felt like old home week when we got there. We were so happy when our server turned out to be Luke who we've known for several years. The food was as good as we remembered although we preferred the original chopped Caesar salad with hard boiled egg. The tomato soup was creamy and delicious but I wish there was an option to get a cup instead of a bowl since it was so filling I ended up bringing most of my delicious buccatini home to enjoy another night. It was filled with chunks of lobster and shrimp in a delicate cream sauce that was perfect. My husband chose the salmon piccata and said it was cooked perfectly. He had it over pasta and marinara sauce instead of the broccilini and loved it. No room for dessert but there's always next time. Service was impeccable- professional, attentive, and friendly. Vivo has a very warm Tuscan ambiance that adds to the entire very enjoyable dining experience. We can't wait to go back.

    Finally got to go back after being closed since pandemic. Menu is slughtly smaller abd a little more expensive. Some of our favorites lile chicken marsala and chicken picatta are gone. So is the eggplant parm. No more ceasar side salad. Ordered on and was charged $12 for it. The tiramasu is $12. Chicken parm went from $19 to $23.

    TGIV (Thank God Its VIVO) open for business. Our return to VIVO Italian Kitchen was outstanding. The meal started with Roasted Octopus, and it was absolutely tender and delicious. My spouse had the Caesar salad which had a unique presentation. My Entrée was Brasato Al Barolo which melted in my mouth and the mushroom sauce was scrumptious and the spouse Entrée was Parmigiana (Chicken) was perfect. My compliments to the Chef. Of course, what made the evening enjoyable is the Server Shannon. She is very professional, pleasant, and has exceptional knowledge of the menu. If I had one negative it is the music. Since it is an Italian Kitchen some Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, or smooth Jazz would be nice. We will be back.
