The food was very good, quality and taste.
Hostess upon past and this visit is extremely partial to a certain type of customer. She does not address nor display the same hospitality to the customers of her ethnicity. A overly obvious sign of treating them less respectful because they dont belong nor understand this type of establishment. Very disappointing.

This is the BEST STEAK HOUSE IN PG COUNTY!!!Much improvement, I have eaten here twice and was highly disappointed because my steak was over cooked. I gave it a 3rd try and things have improved greatly. We started with the pork shoulder--EXCELLENT a must do when eating here. Both filets were cooked to perfection and bourbon -"Madison" and the "Mint Julep" were terrific. And we finished with the lemon tart with the lavender ice cream, this is a must !!! It is $$ but well worth it!!!

Although the food was good it wasn’t spectacular. Lamb rack was great broccoli was not to my liking. The service started slow and we waited almost 40 min fir our dinner to come. Since we were eating there before a show we felt rushed and never had time for any coffee or dessert

Superb location, excellent food, very pleasant ambiance. Service could be slow at times, we had to wait quite some time between the first pass of the waiter and when he came back to take our order. Very pricey!

We have been here before - I LOVE the "library" part of the restaurant. But on this occasion, when we were taking friends out for a special thank-you dinner, I was a bit disappointed - even to the point that I sent my steak back (it was charcoal-black all over, 2 mm thick; I was told it was "char broiled" and supposed to be that way...).

The service was excellent as usual but, for a Saturday night, I expect the kitchen's A-game, and it was far from that. The server took the steak away and I did not want it re-"char broiled" so I opted after two bites to forego my entree. It DID show up on the check, but since we noticed it we were able to catch that and the server took the $67 piece of charcoal off the bill.

I hope to go back, and cross fingers the food is not quite so sub-par. Still, a fave of mine to wine-and-dine, a lovely and active spot for a fun dinner.

The consensus with my group was that the steaks could use a little more seasoning than they received. It seemed like they might have been relying too much on the free sauces that come with the steaks. But we don’t like having to add sauce to make steak taste better. But the service was great!

The food was delicious. The side dishes were very well done and had a lot of flavor. The medium rare was closer to medium on both steaks which is a disappointment for a steakhouse. I thought that they were rather overpriced as well, especially the price doesn't include any side dishes.

The service was exceptional and our waitress was very attentive, especially considering how many tables she was taking care of. I would go back for a special occasion but there are other Voltaggio restaurants in the area that I prefer for the price.

It was our second time at this restaurant, the first time the salad was the most memorable dish. We had out of town guests and went for my birthday. We went early and was given the private dining room. The service was impeccable and they were very attentive especially Katlan(spelling?) Everyone enjoyed their meal especially the humongous crab cake! The steak was very tender also. We now have a new appreciation for Voltaggio and will return.

Nice setting, great service, average food that is overpriced, even by steakhouse standards.Doesn't hold a candle to Capital Grill, Palm, or Mortons.

We were disappointed overall. Salmon was tasteless, potato au gratin was greasy, mushrooms were overcooked. Service could have been better-we had to remind server twice to bring items requested and they weren't at all busy at the time. In their defense when they asked how we liked the food, I told them the salmon was a big disappointment, they gave us a free dessert which was nice but the dessert wasn't impressive either. Steak that was ordered was good and cooked properly. As a higher priced restaurant we expected much better service and food. Won't go back.

Food was great! Ordered salmon and Mac/cheese. Friend ordered steak and frites. Service was good but not outstanding. Had two servers but after food was delivered they didn’t check back in so we were waiting a while for our check and third course. Didn’t get refills on water or second round drinks. Otherwise they were good. Ambiance was really nice. Beautiful decor. Nice lighting. Great background music selections. Would be really nice if they removed the pottery in the window seal and directly outside the window (looked like grills) blocking the view of the atrium area. I would definitely go back and recommend to others.

Service was outstanding from start to finish. The restaurant consists of several sections of varying elegance. We were escorted through the first 2 more stylish sections and seated in the 3rd section which was comfortable but not as elegant as the preceding sections. The preceding sections were relatively empty compared to our section so we wondered why we had not been seated in one of them. We had told them at the time of reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary. Perhaps someone from Voltaggio can tell us how seating is assigned. Our cocktails were very good but expensive ($16). We chose to order from the "Restaurant Week" menu expecting to receive a taste of the best they offer. The Spicy Pork Belly with rice grits appetizer was a bit salty and the rice grits clumpy. The over-salting carried over to the Flat Iron steak which was otherwise devoid of flavor or perhaps it was that the salt was overwhelming. However the sauces were tasty. I also treated myself to a "supplement" King Crab Leg which turned out to be only a portion of a leg. Pretty pricey at $24. My husband ordered a side vegetable and coffee which also weren't part of the Restaurant Week menu. If the food was as wonderful as the service, I would consider a return trip--but at a price tag of $162 for a couple (including tip) for the value menu, I expect a much more delectable dinner.

Went for Washington restaurant week and anniversary. Wine list was authentic. Had a glass of real German Riesling, delicious. WRW options checked all the boxes from full/on steaks to free-range to vegetarian. Had listed ‘anniversary ‘ when I made the reservation and every employee we encountered seemed to know it, wishing us a happy anniversary. I had the hangar steak and frites- excellent. Partner had a different steak which he liked but he liked mine more. Had the desserts offered, can’t remember them but they were great! Would suggest starting the meal with those. Best part of evening for me, besides the great service, was the decor. Loved the baroque flatware! Crazy I know, but it would be a detaiI I would have done. Special touch for patrons.

I will definitely come here again and again. Every course was fantastic and on point. I could have eaten a bucket of the pork belly and grits. The steak was beautifully cooked and seasoned. The dessert was such a fantastic balance of creamy, crunchy, sweet and bitter I nearly swooned. We had a drink at the bar before dinner and the scotch selection was vast. Can’t wait to come back.

Food came back with a piece of silicon (from spoon or spatula). Manager was very rude when presented with the complaint for a new dish. Although food was great, service was lacking and management was terrible.

This was the best meal we've had all summer. I made reservations for my Husbands Birthday. From the time we walked in to the time we left everyone was saying Happy Birthday. the food was excellent, service on point. I have been raving to all. We will be back ! 10/10

I want to be very clear that out service was excellent. The people that waited on my party were attentive, polite, and knowledgeable about the menu. My problem was the food. We were there for Restaurant Week, so we ordered off a limited menu. The selection was varied; I got a steak, two at my table got the fish of the day, another person got the "cauliflower steak" (cauliflower shaped like steak). None of the meat (fish or the steak) was seasoned. The french fries and the cauliflower (according to the person that ate it) were seasoned wonderfully, but none of the meat was.

My wife and I went to see Cher at MGM and since this was the start of her birthday week, I thought that Voltaggio Bros. would be a good choice to kick things off, and the restaurant did not disappoint. Although we arrived a few minutes late due to traffic, we had called ahead so they knew and the hostess was gracious about it when we did finally arrive (only about 10 minutes late). As our table was not ready anyway, after getting drinks in the lounge, we were informed that there would be an additional delay due to weather forcing patio patrons inside. Expressing concern about the tighter timetable with the concert, we were assured that we'd be seated and not to worry; we were seated a little later and our table was perfect, facing the window. Our servers - Matthew and Melissa - were both pleasant, knowledgeable and paced us through our meal with ease, and we never felt rushed, an accomplishment given that so many restaurants do try to rush people out the door.

On the matter of food and beverages, the house take on a Cosmo was different, given the use of Aperol and Riesling, but enjoyable, and my Sazerac was not overly sweet and very nice. The wedge salad with it's gorgonzola "snow" was a nice change from the wedge salad one normally sees. Our Wagyu flank steaks were done perfectly and were both tender and flavorful even without the choice of the three sauces (sea bean chimichurri, "beer-naise" and house steak sauce), which were all nice additions when used. My broccolini was done perfectly, tender with a nice char, and my wife enjoyed the spinach with it's "cream". Our wines - a Pinot Noir for me and a Cotes du Rhone for the birthday girl - paired nicely with the meal, and the chocolate dessert, which we shared, was a very nice end to the meal even for she who is not a choco-holic. Maybe the tawny port helped. All in all, a lovely dining experience, and well worth the trip and cost, which is on par with any very good restaurant. We'd happily return.

Amazing Anniversary ; Thank you so much for making our anniversary a memorable culinary experience. Although the Oysters Rockefeller were non traditional, they taste amazing. The crab cake was more like a soufflé and was the BEST I ever had with huge amounts of lump crab meat. The server went out of her way to help me enjoy a "tropical" drink, which was not on the menu. It was so delicious, I had to order another. Altogether, our hubby and I enjoyed a very romantic anniversary and appreciated the gesture of a complimentary dessert to celebrate. We were made to feel special and will be back!!

The food was amazing, but having been here a few times, the service is strangely inconsistent. Sometimes they're attentive and wonderful, other times they're curt and you have to ask someone to find your waiter. They are always polite though.
