Voltaggio Brothers Steak House - MGM National Harbor
Love the ambiance and decor! The food was excellent and I highly recommend.
The service and food was good. The value of the meal was overpriced for the quality.
Our server Earl and his team were exceptional! 2nd time there and will keep going back! Kudos
We celebrated our anniversary. Food and service were incredible. We’ll definitely come back!
My family and I had a great time celebrating my brother’s birthday with great food.
It was such a wonderful evening to celebrate our anniversary! Kalen and Alex were phenomenal servers who made wonderful recommendations as we were deciding between a few different menu items. They were spot on, even with the wine! Everything was wonderful and much of it was thanks to them. The food was wonderful--delicious pork shoulder to start, 10 oz filet with potato au gratin for the main, and as a special surprise we were brought a really nice anniversary dessert that was amazingly light and refreshing. While the prices are high, the service and food are absolutely worth it.
Our first Time dining here, all dishes were prepared and tasted great.Defininately will be back on our next visit
It was ok. The food was expensive but not worth the money. We were not served bread which is the least they can do with a $300 meal for 2. Won’t be going there any time soon.
So I usually dont leave reviews but I thought I should here. I was excited to try this place out. So I made reservations and didnt have to wait when we got there. When were seated I noticed other guess were told the specials and they had a appetizers in their menu. We not given the specials of the night or appetizer menu. I dont know if it was because we only ordered water because we dont drink. But all in all the food was great and everyone was nice
We met long-time friends and the evening was wonderful. The service was outstanding (did not rush us) and the food was delicious. Will definitely go back!
Ambiance was great, we ate outside. Food and wine was delicious. Nice service as well.
Fabulous service, delicious food, and a great time! The boneless ribeye was deliciously cooked at the ordered temperature. The Brussels sprouts were delicioso! The lobster (condiment) add on was decent but wasn’t impressive. I’ll definitely be back soon :)
It was good but over priced.
The food was very good! One of the best steaks I have ever had. Shared the bone-in rib eye with the Hubbie. Well prepared and seasoned well. The service was excellent! They made us feel special and welcome in a professional not stuffy kind of way. Loved it!
This is my second time at this establishment because the experience at my first visit was great. We were there to celebrate my best friends birthday and getting a new job and this was the place to celebrate. My group was very impressed and will be back in the future. The staff was great and my best friend thought Jose was incredible and spot in.
The food and service was fantastic, but you will pay dearly.
We ordered: a bottle of merlot, beef tartare, 8 oz. flank steak, border springs lamb rack, potato gratin, asparagus, cold fudge sundae, and chocolate. The bill after tax was about $230 and $270 after tip. I have dined at steakhouses of similar quality, so I feel as if you are somewhat paying for the name and location.
The merlot paired perfectly with the succulent meats. The tartare was like a French onion foam on top of flavourful, minced wagyu; it was adventurous, but not too much for my girlfriend who never had tartare. The lamb was one of best cuts of meat I have ever had. In fact, I thought it was better than the wagyu flank steak. I only wish I ordered a better cut with more meat since I felt like half the lamb rack was bone. The steak sauce, sea bean chimichurri, and beer-naise made the meat more addictive than it already was. Our waiter was very helpful in making recommendations and providing excellent service. The cold fudge sundae was like a modern dessert take on a breakfast parfait. We loved the sundae; however, the chocolate dessert was good, but somewhat bland in comparison to the sundae.
In all, it was a fine meal and a delightful experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I went in really wanting to like Voltaggio Bros., but I left very disappointed - drinks were good, set up was pretty, great long slow meal, but what happened with my food was unacceptable.
The mains were served, and there was a 2 inch long piece of metal in my spinach. I showed it to the server, he got the manager, I assumed it was from the can of spinach - only to get told the metal it was from their pot scrubber. That is disgusting. I appreciated the couple extra drinks and the free desserts, but you can’t guarantee how well they clean their pots - if they leave metal scraps that could cause serious injury if swallowed, then how well do they wash the cleaning chemicals off? Never again.
Always a perfect meal and superior service.
Even though we had a reservation and got a confirmation text saying our table was almost ready 15 minutes prior, we had to wait to be seated. We went in for Restaurant Week but had to specifically ask for the menu. The service started out great but then there were long periods of silence. The filet that had an upcharge came out Medium-well to Well instead of Medium. That would be the last of the issues I would expect at a Steakhouse. The food otherwise was amazing , but the service can stand to improve.
I felt my food, on the whole, was cold. It was tasty but warm at best. There seem to be an abundance of wait staff so I am unclear to why my steak, veggies etc were not hot.
We went in for Restaurant Week and the menu looked great. From the slow service (two server team each table), to long periods of time for updates on a returned steak was upsetting. We sent back two steaks before a medium-rare steak came to the table. The first one came out Medium-well and the second one came out rare. You are a steakhouse, “you have one job,” and that is to cook a good steak. My wife and I could not eat our meal together. The food was delicious, but the wait and service will not be something I rush back for.
In respect to everything, the manager on duty took several items off of the bill to comp for our troubles.
Service was very good
Food is very overpriced and everything we ordered was awful. Restaurant was weird, family style with waiters wearing suits. Would avoid this place. Absolutely awful experience.
It was great and will visit again
My boyfriend and I went for restaurant week but ended up getting some nice wine and the more expensive steaks :) Great food and the staff were wonderful.
Disappointing. My husband and I dedicated one of our "camp week" date nights to Voltaggio. It also happened to be restaurant week. Our waiter was visibly disappointed when we ordered from the restaurant week menu and essentially abandoned us after delivering our meal. The food was adequate for the $100 we paid (the excellent wine selection saved the day). Had we been paying the rack rate of $200, it would have been well below par. After our waiter disappeared, we had to flag down another man (who may have been the manager) to order coffee with dessert. It was our hope to find a good steak house close to home, but this experiment was a failure.
Amazing food great service.
We were at the MGM for my daughters birthday. This steakhouse was by far the best I’ve ever patronized. Ambience, Service and food absolutely outstanding❤️
The appetizers were fabulous but I was shocked that my lamb chop was so dry. Au gratin potatoes were excellent as always.
While the food was just ok, and probably not ok for the price, the service more than made up for the fact. From the very beginning the service team worked in tandem without being obtrusive. They made this a fabulous dining experience.
Friends not seen in a very long time
We were celebrating my graduation and really looking for a stellar meal. We ordered couple appetizers-that were amazing. When ordering our entrees i explained i did not want any rare or med rare meat he recommended med well and explained it would take 40 minutes in a filet. I explained i was in no hurry i just did not want any red in my meat. Upon getting our food i cut into my steak only to find it to be under cooked and the blood all over my sides that were ordered À la carte. The waiter immediately took my dish and returned it to kitchen. My family finished their meal and then the second steak came out only to be under cooked for me as well. The manager came over and offered to bring me fresh sides but by then everyone was finished and i did not want them to have to wait. The wait staff brought me a delicious ice cream treat for my celebration and it was amazing dessert. I do feel if I am paying $60 for a steak it should be cooked properly as ordered but mistakes happen, unfortunately for it happened twice hense my 3 star review.
Delicious steaks, however very disappointing service from the entrance to the server
Expect the the bartender at the bar which was very friendly and professional the servers in the dinning room and front hostess could use more training.
Food was excellent. Service outstanding. Did not disappoint. We had been waiting for a special occasion to dine here and it lived up to expectation. My husband is pretty picky and said it was his best dining experience at MGM. I agree.
The sides were nice and flavorful. They couldn't get the temperature of my not my wife's steak right. The food initially came out cold as if it had been sitting around for a while. Never going back.
It wasn’t as good as a visit last year, which was wonderful. We sat in an area that was more like a breakfast bistro. The steak still tastes great but the risotto and mashed potatoes were too salty. This seems to happen a lot in DC—a restaurant starts off strong Then it gets sloppy and lazy and finally stops trying. Since it isn’t very convenient for us, we won’t be returning.
This restaurant was amazing!!! The food was excellent! The service was awesome!!! My husband and I went to this restaurant before a comedy show at the MGM. I’m so glad we did! I would definitely recommend it.
Earl and the young lady were absolutely the best!!! They both were great along with amazing food and the restaurant was so beautiful. This is the BEST steak house in the DMV by far!
Great location with tons of parking; plus great food and service !!!!! 6 STARS 💫
The food took an exceptional amount of time and was not even hot once it finally arrived. Longer wait times generally warrant at least a check-in or two from the service staff while the food is being prepared, but the staff seemed more concerned with waiting on the group in the private room adjacent to our table. There were staff constantly in and out of that room, while none stopped by our table to ask if we needed anything - which we did. For the price, I’d much rather go to Ruth’s Chris where the service is better and the food is served hot and not bland. We won’t be back.
