Voltaggio Brothers Steak House - MGM National Harbor
Earl and the young lady were absolutely the best!!! They both were great along with amazing food and the restaurant was so beautiful. This is the BEST steak house in the DMV by far!
Great location with tons of parking; plus great food and service !!!!! 6 STARS 💫
The food took an exceptional amount of time and was not even hot once it finally arrived. Longer wait times generally warrant at least a check-in or two from the service staff while the food is being prepared, but the staff seemed more concerned with waiting on the group in the private room adjacent to our table. There were staff constantly in and out of that room, while none stopped by our table to ask if we needed anything - which we did. For the price, I’d much rather go to Ruth’s Chris where the service is better and the food is served hot and not bland. We won’t be back.
It was great. The only exception was a dog 2 tables over that was clearly not a service dog and barked twice as well as had his/her paws on table. I would have thought this was a health code violation.
Beef was cold
The Guyanese server was great
The others were pretty average
The black spaghetti and egg appetizer ( CACIo de Pepe) was over cooked
Probably will not go back unless things really improve
Much worse than our last time there for my daughters birthday
It was our 25 wedding anniversary so it spoilt it
Btw free rolls like every other fine dining restaurant would be great !!!
This was my favorite restaurant along with Ruth Chris. I visited this restaurant to celebrate my late mom's birthday as well as mine. I also indicated that I was celebrating my birthday when I made my reservations. They did not verbally acknowledge my birthday nor did they offer a dessert...nothing.
Secondly, our meal took an hour to be served. This was unacceptable. I still like it but I was disappointed and most definitely have place this restaurant down a notch.
Some patrons were very loud but food was great.
It took over an hour for our food to come out even though the restaurant wasn’t busy.It was a few tables that were seated after us that received there food before us. The food was excellent when it finally arrived.
A wonderful meal. Everyone so nice. The music was a bit annoying
Ordered Wagyu steak and was not good! Tried to charge me for 2 bottles of wine that I did not order on the final bill. Good thing I caught it.
We went there to celebrate a Birthday and the service was extremely slow. We opted for the seafood tower and the table porterhouse. The Seafood tower was subpar and the the Porterhouse was requested at a medium rare temperature and came out well done. We spent $600 on this dining experience for 4 people and I can guarantee there are much better places to spend that money in the area.
Uncomfortable chairs. Sat next to kitchen which was loud and obnoxious. My party had empty glasses half the time (water and beverages). At one point I had to get up to ask for another bottle of Jordan. Host and hostess took 3 people from my dinner party to an entirely different company dinner, and turned another two guests away saying they couldnt find my reservation and neglected to ask better questions to ensure my guests were seated with the right party and taken care of better rather than turned away. My guests who were turned away even asked if he could dine in for table of 2 and the restaurant would not make any accommodations. Poor service. Food was average. Broccolini and the calamari were definitely least favorite food item. Not a steakhouse I would go back to.
Perfect Father’s Day Dinner!
Food wasn't as good this visit. As always service and ambiance was great.
Great place to celebrate a birthday!! Bone-in Ribeye, Macaroni and Cheese, and Brussels Sprouts were delicious!!
We enjoyed the atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was good, but we thought it was a bit overpriced. However, the portion sizes were good and the presentation of the food was unique.
Ham and biscuits appetizer was amazing!
Food was average and defiantly not worth the penny. Very disappointed.
Food was very good. Service was good. Sommelier was helpful and informative. He provided us enjoyable background information on our chosen wine. Wait staff was helpful in a somewhat talking-down-to-you way. Hostess was a steel wall, lacking warmth in her speech and ability to decline our early seating request with anything other than a cryptic “you have been checked in, come back when you are scheduled to be seated”. It wasn’t the inability to be seated early that bothered me. I understand that. What was poor were her cold and indirect replies. She’s a fortress. I’ll give her that.
The table had salmon (good), 2 steaks (good), calamari (good), and ham biscuits (overpowering savory biscuits for such thinly-sliced ham)
We’ll return the next time we’re at MGM. It was an enjoyable evening with family over which we also enjoyed good steaks.
This place is amazing!! From the impeccable ambiance, amazingly attentive staff to the delicious food.. this place made our anniversary worth every moment!! We will be back.
Great food... awesome decor... good service...
Not worth the money or trip. The Voltaggio brothers are known for great food; this is not it. Maybe you have to travel to Frederick. The branzino was good, but not particularly flavorful. The prime rib was good, but we've had better at other restaurants. Made me want to stay home and cook my own steak. The asparagus was covered in an overrich, and underflavored sauce. The best part of the meal was the mushroom side dish. The waiter was old-fashioned polite, but interrupted us multiple times and not friendly. The best part of the meal was the assistant server, who was friendly and helpful. Oh, and it was a gorgeous sunset and we were cloistered in a curtained dark room. Disappointing all around.
This was our second time at the streak house and just wanted to compliment the service — Chris and Igor gave us great recommendations and were very attentive and friendly. The food was good, only their new salmon on the menu didn’t impress much, it was a bit dry and it took a while for the main courses to come out.
Another great dinner at Voltaggio Brothers!!! We can't wait to to go back!
I received a resort credit for food and beverage and we selected this restaurant. The food and service was impeccable! We each got a 10-ounce filet with a king crab leg add-on shrimp cocktail, macaroni and cheese, and broccolini. All of the food was well above average. I may not have come to the steakhouse if I did not have the food and beverage credit, because it is quite pricey, but at least you do get what you pay for. On a side note, the steak was well worth the price, but I am not so sure about the king crab leg or lobster tail add-ons because they are very expensive for what you get.
Overall it was a very good dinner. Food was excellent and the service was very good. We did have to wait almost 30 minutes for our table even though we had a reservation, which was the only reason the rating was a little lower. There are several seating areas, each slightly different in design gives the effect of rooms in a large home. Subdued lighting and soft color tones on the walls and ceilings gives a relaxed feeling to the dinner area.
There is a small bar area with cozy seating that is an another option.
As usual my visit here was awesome.. great and knowledgeable staff..food was perfect.. we will visit again soon
It was fine this time. The last visit was MUCH better....
Very nice place, but just a little to slow for service
Earl was incredible waiter.
Celebrated my birthday here! Although we were warned, the black calamari (appetizer) just threw me off. I ordered the salmon and didn’t even eat it. I’ve never had salmon with pickles on top and it wasn’t cooked as I requested. The side of corn was cold and sent back. The Mac just not worth the price.
The appetizers we're not served at the same time. The wine list was limited. A steak ordered medium rare was served medium. The staff was excellent.
Great experience, customer service, and dining environment
Awesome as always!!
Dinner was good. Asparagus was okay as well as Mac n cheese. Nothing to brag about. Steak was pretty good, a bit salty, but good.
Our meeting was very successful thanks to the staff
Went there for my birthday and everything was wonderful. Our waiter, Matt, was on point with making this a memorable experience. We had the Filet Migon and Lamb Chops, Golden Yukon potatoes-mashed, and brocolleni...everything was delicious. Definitely a special occassion place because it is pricey but worth it.
Beautiful restaurant with great food. We were all pleased with our meal from appetizer to dessert. The sides are big enough to share.
The service was outstanding. They work as a team and at no point did we have to wait for anything. Very helpful with wine selection. The sommelier was able to recommend a reasonably priced wine with my not quiet experienced palette. Portion sizes were very good. Food was fantastic. Not a place I could afford to go to frequently but definitely a special occasion gem.
Excellent in every way. Kala and team #1 excellent service. Food perfect. What’s more to say?
