Voltaggio Brothers Steak House - MGM National Harbor
Tuesday - Sunday: 5:00pm - 11:00pm
We ordered, calamari, the rack of lamb, 18oz ribeye and 1/2 chicken, oh and asparagus. Main dishes were delish but a little overpriced in comparison to some other great steakhouses we've dined at. The calamari although tasty, came out looking more like a bowl of crumbs, I would not recommend. Very disappointed that the menu was not kid friendly, so we spent about $30 on chicken for a 9 year old. Waiter seemed a bit overwhelmed. We waited a good 15/20 minutes for a soft drink. Our appetizer came out before the soda did.
It was wonderful. When I called I was informed there was a dress code. I do feel like this needs to adhere to All patrons who are going to eat. We made sure we were dressed nicely and some people walked in like it was the food court. There are other options.
Loved this place. Perfect for a special occasion. Everyone there was awesome and the food was exceptional.
We have been here several times and the food and service is always excellent.
Made a 10:30 reservation, I unfortunately we were 5 minutes late due to the show ending late at MGM theatre. The waiter was impatient and rude to our party. We understood the kitchen was closing in 15 minutes however his tone and presence was dismissive and short. The food was just okay and the bread was cold, which was made to order. Hey Right!! Our first and last visit!!
The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere. Service was great, however I was not crazy about the food. I opted for Salmon (which was somewhat cold and slimy). I probably should have had steak since that is what they are known for.
We made a reservation for 9:45 pm. When they called to confirm, I asked if that was enough time to get there after a show at the theater. They said no, so we switched it to 10. We got there around 9:50 and were told we were checked in and to wait until they called us. We waited over half an hour to be seated (and there were others who arrived after us who were seated before us). When I inquired about that, they told us we were next and that they were going to put us at a larger table so we could spread out. Unfortunately it was a four person table which we just used half of and was right by the window and it was FREEZING. It took a long time for anyone to come give us menus or water or anything (almost 10 minutes). When I ordered my steak, I said medium for temperature. The server said, "that will be bright pink throughout." I reconsidered and went with medium well, which she said would be pink in the center. The $57 steak I got was totally well done. When asked how our meal was, I pointed out the steak was well done and the server tried telling me I changed my temperature midway and that it cooked more while resting. If that's the case, they should have cooked it medium and let it rest to medium well. He asked me if I wanted another steak. At this point it was past 11 pm (I should note we didn't get our entrees until 11 pm - an hour after our reservation, and at this point it was about 11:15 pm) so I said no. He offered up dessert "on him" which was nice. But overall, I don't think I'd go back (this is our second time there). For the amount we spent, I shouldn't have to ask for my water to be refilled THREE times, wait half an hour to be seated even with a reservation, be seated at an oversized table next to the freezing window, wait forever for service and entrees, and have overcooked meat at an expensive steakhouse. While the dessert was nice, it wasn't enough to overcome the negative experience. That said, the food was tasty.
Loved everything about it and we will go back again!
The restaurant excelled in service and attention to detail in terms of the decor. However, I found my food for the cost exceptionally underwhelming and while I expected this to be an expensive meal, I was flabbergasted by how you are nickeled and dimed for everything. I found the fact that there is a $9 cost for bread unbelievable and excessive. At one point during the night my dining companion declined a second beer, and they brought it to the table anyway with the accompanying charge at the end of the night.
The signature Cosmo was delightful and refreshingly different from the status quo. While our steaks were cooked to the requested temperature (medium) the seasoning of salt and pepper was necessary but basic. The Potatoes Gratin were very disappointing and the spinach was nothing special.
Ultimately, the dining experience was fine but I’ve had a better steak at Ruth Chris and I would’ve left Ruth Chris having had bread and change in my pocket.
It’s an upscale restaurant with friendly staff. The food was really delicious. I had the USDA NY strip 14oz and my husband had the bone-in ribeye 22oz. You’ve got to order your sides, as it does not come with any. Cocktails were excellent. I had the Clarified milk punch and the queens park. Both were fruity and yummy.
We enjoyed dinner here with friends attending a conference in the MGM resort. Good food and it allowed us an atmosphere where we could talk and hear each other at a table for 5. Excellent steaks and side dishes. We had a variety of side dishes including Brussel sprouts, spinach, potatoes au gratin, broccolini and a baked potato. Had fun sharing some of our dishes.
This was our first time at the restaurant and for a few of us at the MGM Grand. Our check in at the Gaylord ran a little late and caused us to be late for our dinner reservation. One phone call to the restaurant assured us that our table was still reserved. The presentation of the food was wonderful and everything tasted great. Great food and great service! Will be back again.
This was my second visit, and again, every item I ordered was delicious , I had their twist on the mojito, very tasty! All in all this is now my favorite steakhouse ❣️
Oysters were perfection. Entree (ribeye) was delicious. Service was superb.
Doesn’t hold a candle to great steakhouses across the country. It’s worth the time to go into the city for a better option.
I took my sister out for her birthday. We were treated royally. We shared a 14 oz. NY strip, that was perfectly cooked. The spinach and mac and cheese were delicious. My sister said it was the best dinner she has had in a very long time.
Excellent service, perfect setting for an anniversary dinner.
I know it's a steak house ... but vegetarians go out for dinner with their meat-eating friends, so it's wise for restaurants to offer at least one or two vegetarian options. I went to Voltaggio for dinner with my wife and our niece. I'd checked out the menu beforehand and saw that there was a mac-and-cheese side dish, plus some vegetable side dishes, and figured that's what I'd order. Unfortunately, the mac-and-cheese was one of the most bland and blah versions I've ever had: very over-cooked pasta shells with a clump of liquidy cheese dolloped on top of it. The meat-eaters raved about their steaks. Come on, Voltaggio - rise to the occasion and work your magic on a vegetarian option.
Steaks temperature always on point and great service
A perfect dinner for a wonderful occasion. I highly recommend this restaurant! Not only do you enjoy fine dining, but the ambience of being at home with family is also a delight.
Everything was very good. My favorites were the oysters, dry aged prime rib and the lemon upside pie. The dessert was just heavenly and the steak melts in your mouth.
Soooo good. Service was amazing. Done miss the Parker house rolls!!
We had a fantastic meal here and great service. The steaks were cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. The servers were competent and personable. Highly recommend. We will be back.
The food was fantastic and setvice was prompt. Found it rather odd to have to pay $8 for bread though.
Amazing, I love this place!
What a beautiful evening of great food and music! My husband and I were celebrating our 16th wedding anniversary yesterday. We were attending the Maxwell concert at The Theater so it made perfect sense to have dinner before the concert. My husband asked me to choose a restaurant. I’d been to Voltaggio Brothers Steakhouse for restaurant week and said, then, I’d be back for a special occasion.
From the moment we entered the service was A+. I love the ambiance. Each room represents a room in a beautiful home. The wait staff were attentive but not overly attentive. They showed up right when you needed them. Your water glass was never half filled (it’s the little things). We ordered the fried calamari for starters (I’m so glad the waiter explained what to expect because I would’ve been taken aback when I saw it was black! They were delicious!). For our dinner we had the salmon, Yukon gold mashed potato, asparagus, crab cake (I wasn’t too fond of the sauce) but the crab cake didn’t need it, a creamy corn. Oh and their cosmo 🍸 was perfect.
My husband, who is not always easily impressed, loved it all. We will definitely return and recommend it to others.
Thank you to the staff at Voltaggio Brothers steakhouse for making this special occasion even more special due to your great service.
This was delicious experience. The wedge salad and rolls were excellent!!
Our meals this evening were fantastic! Chris, Stacy, and Eloy provided excellent service! My bone-in-rib eye was great and so was the filet mignon! Drinks were on point! Highly recommend this place!
My wife and I ran into horrible traffic and were late for our reservation. Not only were we promptly seated upon arrival, the service was outstanding and our food was excellent! Never disappointed at Voltaggio Brothers!
For the high price of entree, it is outrage to charge for bread service. I order the steak with side order of lobster tail. The lobster tail was little bit over 3 ins long and did not come with drawn butter. It was dry and with a freezer burn taste. The side order of mushroom was just room temperature which mean it was pre-cooked and served it without reheating. Totally unacceptable for the high Price I had to pay.
Fantastic steaks and drinks. Service is impeccable. Thank you for a great experience!
Well prepared food. My second visit in the past two weeks. Nothing was amiss. My son said his steak was the best ever. Staff was attentive but never annoying. Looking forward to another visit when we return from Delaware.
Voltaggio's Steakhouse was a great time with excellent food and outstanding service. They didn't have the steak I wanted that night, but my selection was really satisfying and my wife and I really enjoyed the evening. Kudos!
Steak was cold and not tender. Paid slot for a good start
Was very disappointing
Fantastic, great knowledgeable staff and superb dining experience
We celebrated my sister's birthday. The decor is lovely; staff is friendly. And the hand-crafted cocktails are delicious. The food, however, left us confused and completely underwhelmed. It felt like there was a disconnect between what we ordered off the menu vs. what was served. The crispy calamari ($18) was coated in squid ink, which our waitress shared with us when she placed the dish on the table. It tasted good, but I am not a fan of squid ink and did not enjoy the dish. Our $19 cheddar-aged biscuits were small, dry, and bland. They are served with apple butter, which was OK, but the pile of sliced fatty ham was unappetizing.
Meanwhile, we overhear a lady at the small table next to us tell her date that her filet lacked flavor and "wasn't that good." My sister's friend just wants the russet loaded potato at this point. My sister and I feel like the $40 crab cake (it's 14 ounces, says the waitress) and the wedge salad to split is the safest choice. The wedge arrived and while good, it maybe had a teaspoon-worth of dressing on this huge piece of iceburg. I requested a side of dressing for our table. The russet loaded potato was good but definitely not "loaded." It had a minimal amount of sour scream and bacon.
The biggest disappointment of the night is the crab CAKE. It's served in a skillet (with a large spoon. I've never been served a crab CAKE with a spoon. The taste and consistency is similar to a bland crab DIP, with little crab meat. I regret not taking a photo of this dish. We discussed whether to ask for salt and pepper (they don't keep either on the table), or maybe crostini, to help balance the creamy texture. I'll pay $40 for crab dip, if it's the best, ever. Were we served crab dip? Crab imperial? Creamy crab cake?
Our waitress was kind to bring a dessert for my sister. I was grateful to walk out with only a $270 bill vs. a $400 bill, had we each ordered meat. Very disappointed--this was not the upscale dining experience I was looking forward to.
Took my dad (who was visiting from AL) for his 60th birthday. They sat us next to the kitchen which made for great ambiance. Steak was cooked to perfection and everything tasted amazing. They even brought a “happy birthday” dessert for my dad. Very memorable & enjoyable experience! My mom wants to come back for her 60th in two years.
The food was very good, quality and taste.
Hostess upon past and this visit is extremely partial to a certain type of customer. She does not address nor display the same hospitality to the customers of her ethnicity. A overly obvious sign of treating them less respectful because they dont belong nor understand this type of establishment. Very disappointing.
Excellent food and service. Fine dining at it best... The Aviation cocktail is a must have... Trust me...
Outstanding service. Exceptional food.
