Voltaggio Brothers Steak House - MGM National Harbor
2nd time here and just like the first it was amazing... great food and great service.. WILL return soon!
Our go-to restaurant for our anniversary and any other very special outing. This place never disappoints and seems to offer a better experience every time we go! Great job Voltaggio Bros!
My husband and I had the best time and that goes to our two servers, Matt and Igor. They were professionals and courteous with us and made our dinning experience superb! If you ever get a chance to partake in a dinner here, please ask for them, you won’t be disappointed.
Always a memorable experience with excellent service and delicious food! Ordered Colorado Lamb, squid in Cali Mari, mac-n-cheese, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts and can’t leave without the cauliflower steak! I even ordered one to take home!!! they even gave all the women roses on Valentines Day❣️
I come here all the time. I love it here. We just weren’t waiting on frequently as we are used to here. We kept having to hunt down our waitress. And was left for minutes on end trying to get service. It wasn’t that busy
Went to here for the first time on Valentine’s Day. The evening started with a red rose for the females having dinner. Service was excellent, some of the best I’ve experienced. The food was also excellent. However, the ambience was lacking. It was a big open room with bulky furniture and clinical lighting. The tables are awkwardly close together if not in one of the uncomfortably huge booths. Also, there are 2 doorways that leave the dining room open to the main walkway of MGM. For such an expensive place, I would like some intimacy with my dining party. Also, the experience was somewhat generic.
Delicious as usual....Service is outstanding!!
Overall nice restaurant. I got the free range chicken and thought it could have more flavor. I was also disappointed that the menu online shows they have Rockefeller oyster only to get there and find out the on-line menu is outdated
The ambiance was beautiful. We have been wanting to eat here for a while now. Craving a steak, we decided to try it. Steaks were underwhelming for everyone at the table. After that you think about cost for the steaks (Which would have been fine if they were good) for what they were. The shared sides were small and all of the food was pretty cold. Which was unfortunate because it wasn’t busy and a Tuesday night. The drinks were really slow. We also asked the server for our second round if we should switch to wine before the food comes out because literally that much time had past. She informed us to get another round. The food hit the table before our cocktails came. It was just unfortunate. Everything was mediocre, besides the service. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. We won’t be going back anytime soon. There are a lot of other options to go to that have better steaks for cheaper and actually leave leaving full and happy.
The service is impeccable. Cocktail menu is quite original with variations of the classics. wonderful deserts to finish the meal. asked if we were going to the show and had us out in time without feeling rushed. Great place to celebrate a special event
Very intimate ambience, the food was absolutely perfect, waiters could have been a little more knowledgeable of menu items, but overall and Amazing dining experience. I will definitely be visiting again.
Special occasion restaurant. The venue is beautiful, the range of options is excellent, and the service was absolutely phenomenal - wish I could tell everyone who helped us that night how great they were. The food, however, was only okay. Tasty, well managed, high quality, but lacking that extra magical spark to become truly memorable on my palate. However, I will always remember the rest of the experience, as it was truly great, even in consideration of the high prices.
Branzino was amazing! Could have better dessert options however...
It was amazing and we will be back
I am puzzled as to how a Top tier Steakhouse can run out of steak on a Saturday night after a mind blowing concert by Nile Rodgers and Chic @ the MGM in Oxon Hill MD. How can Voltaggio brothers run out of the Hampshire pork chop. I would have had a better evening of celebrating my Wife birthday @ the casino food court...Voltaggio Brothers couldn’t even recognize my wife birthday despite me informing our waitress and including the comment in my Open Table reservation
It was great. Except my steak was a little too "well done" for me. Servers were excellent and catered to our every need. Only issue was the food is way over priced. Need to offer some specials.
Obviously youre expecting a high level of dinning experience. With a small exception, it wasnt a disappointment. The califlower steak was perfect for the vegitarian and the burrato cheese with beets was seasoned great. Although my steak was undercooked, the management took care of making it right. The signature cocktails are always great.
I was hesitant on dining here because of all of the negative reviews. We still decided to try. So my husband and I came here for my 50th Birthday! I have to note it was a Wednesday but the service was outstanding!!! My husband ordered the Ribeye and it was good without any added sauces. That’s how you know a steak is good if you don’t have to add anything to it. I had the Branzino. It was cooked well. Tasted a little fishy but was still good. We also the potato augratin as our side dish and it was good as well. Lastly the restaurant is decorated nicely.
My client was in the area and suggested meeting at the MGM property. After scouring the restaurants at the complex, I made the reservation with Voltaggio. It was perfect. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the appetizers were out of this world.
Was fine... server dropped a dish of dressing that splashed on a diner’s pant leg. Manager did come by to offer dry cleaning and they offered free desert but we didn’t accept either.
Loved it! Celebrated my husband's birthday, and it was well worth the time and money spent. The ambiance is fantastic, particularly the gray room with the white oval tray cieling. Lovely! Staff had the perfect level of presence; not annoyingly attentive but there was always someone around to get whatever we needed. Steaks are overpriced, but we expect that in high-end restaurants in this area. One disappointment was the US wagyu was a bit overcooked (we ordered med rare), but because the meal was so fantastic and it still tasted very good, we didn't send it back or complain. The cacio e pepe appetizer is to die for. It's a perfect, creamy and peppery pillow of fresh spaghetti....yum!! We will definitely return for a special occasion. The price is too high to justify any normal dinner, in our opinion.
The three of us dined from the restaurant week menu. The flank was cooked to perfection, however, it was not tender. Quite a disappoint for a restaurant that is a steak house.
The service was excellent. It don’t think I will go there again.
Only four stars this time because the last time I dined here it was absolutely exceptional, this time it wasn't quite the same. The calamari arrived barely warm (actually cold) and at the end on the night, I was charged for two instead of one on the bill. My wife's steak was burned (not well done). I know it is hard to cook a steak well done, but this was not even close. What made matters worst, the last time we were there, it was cooked to perfection. It was removed from the bill, so that was appreciated, but she did not want another attempt to get it right. Did I mention it was her 60th Birthday dinner??? Anyway, it is a wonderful restaurant with a very nice staff and we will return some time in the future to dine again.
Anniversary visit. The server asked if we were celebrating anything special and we told her that we were but nothing more was done or said after that
Dewayne mixed some of the best cocktails I’ve ever devoured and make excellent wine pairings. There was some table confusion on the order but we were provided complimentary appetizers and the entrees were delicious. Would recommend great date night.
It was a very nice experience, the bar is well manned, great cocktails, great decoration, the food was very good, the servers were super nice, every single one of them that made eye contact with me had a big smile.
Great service. Went during restaurant week. The portion if salmon was very small. I would’ve been upset if I had paid the regular price.
Food is always delicious, I
Have been several times and I have never been disappointed. My last visit we had a 6:45 reservation, but arrived late due to traffic at about 7:10, they seated us with no problem, and we were served in a timely manner and was able to make the 8:00 show on time ❣️
Everything was great but the lobster was a little undercooked.
I have enjoyed every time I've eaten at this restaurant. The service, food and the ambiance is wonderful.
ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS .
STEP OUT of the hub-bub of “the beltway” and discover a fabulous restaurant by the Voltaggio Brothers hidden inside the MGM❗️💎
Food/presentation, service, wine, setting, subtle-surround sound all A++
AND the staff in general was helpful, gracious and nicely turned-out**
The restaurant is unique with five divided & distinctly decorated dining rooms, each a different level of formality [from the eat-in kitchen to the exquisite living room] plus, the luxurious Library 🥃🍸🥂
(Your preferred setting may matter when you reserve your table)
Don’t be put off by navigating the mega-scale of the MGM; although going to the casino afterwards wasn’t our plan, it became a fun — & dry — bonus adventure while we waited for the rain to subside.
We look forward to returning with friends!
Service was very good but did not like the ambiance for an expensive steak restaurant. We were seated near the kitchen in an area that really did not portray an expensive steakhouse atmosphere.
Would not really recommend.
Superb food and service. Service staff is best ever. Music is a little loud but appropriate. First visit was so impressive, came back a second time and it was equally good.
Beautiful restaurant, excellent service, but I was really unimpressed with the food.
My husband ordered medium rare prime rib they brought out the prime rib and game him close to well done. I ordered the 18 oz Ribeye had no flavor was not what we expected unfortunately Longhorn serves better prime rib and steak. We were going to an event so we had no choice but to eat the food Alan the restaurants close by 10pm. Waiters were nice and ambiance nice but not worth the money.
Wonderful evening and delicious food! Our second visit and we were not disappointed.
My 2 friends and I went for dinner and were disappointed by the quality of food and service. It took very very long to get menus and likewise for the apps, entrees and dessert. All of us barely touched the food because it was really dry and just not that good.
OUTSTANDING!!! The service was impeccable... will definitely fine again
