Excellent food; well seasoned and beautifully presented. Great value! Prompt, courteous service.
I was so excited to read they opened a wagamama in NYC. It was delicious. We ordered the roast duck marine
I ate many times at Wagamama (mostly in the UK) and never have been disappointed. This time, the food was not fresh, and was tasteless. The salad was soft and dry with no dressing. The desert had been sitting on the counter for a while as a skin had time to form on it.
We had a great Valentines Day at Wagamama. We had the edamame with garlic salt and duck gyoza to start and I had the chicken raisukuree and my wife had seared tuna bowl. The food was delicious. Our waiter was very nice.
It was a nice place to go with a party of 4. It was enough space for us and not a lot of people were there. The server was really friendly even though she kinda just left lol. But the food wasn’t that good at all to be honest. It would have been a 5 star experience if the food was good. But for 4 people with meals, sake and liquor the bill wasn’t bad at all. Very affordable.
The service was fantastic! The food was delicious and served quickly!
The COVID safety protocols were appropriate and we felt safe eating in the tented outdoor seating area. We had a heat lamp nearby, so we were comfortable having dinner when it was in the 30's "outside."
But, the food and service were just OK. The bao were good, but the ramen was not exciting. Fine, but not special.
We will probably choose another spot next time.
Always the best, great service and delicious food Thank you
We love Wagamama! We felt it was clean and safe. And tasty.
It’s a clean, modern, and spacious restaurant, and the service was very good. The host was friendly and professional, and the servers, too, were courteous. The only issue I had was the food. It wasn’t horrendously bad or anything, but it should be pointed out that they serve Japanese food as interpreted by, I am guessing, Koreans. For example, the ramen broth was just salty and had no depth—which is a typical Korean rendition of ramen. Overall, everything was a bit on the salty side and there was no sense depth/umami in any of the dishes we got. Still, it is a lovely space they got there, and I will go back for the ambience!
Everything was perfect. We got duck gyoza, mushroom bao and pork belly bao, chicken soba noodles.
We love Wagamama. We love the food and the staff is so friendly. We have now been downtown and midtown. Next stop: uptown. Yum!
Not a fan of the food. If you are craving traditional ramen I would go somewhere else.
Decided to sit inside where there were only a few patrons. Nice atmosphere inside and they follow safety protocols so felt as comfortable as one could be. Enjoyable meal with nice options and good drink menu.
Great service! Everyone was very kind. Food was delish!
I first dined in London and was happy to se one in the States. I had dinner on Saturday evening and a business lunch on Tuesday afternoon. The food is tasty and delightful. The service is outstanding. Highly recommended.
Excellent Service. Food was also very good but we missed the original menu as there are fewer options for vegetarians in the current limited menu. Overall great experience made all the more better by the outstanding service.
It was the first day of indoor dining and though the restaurant was empty the service and food did not disappoint. Thank you wagamama for making us feel safe and providing us with A+ food and service. I will be back soon!
Best restaurant ever. If I could have it everyday I would
Such a fun time!!!! Very nice staff. Fun food fun ambiance!
Service was great.
Love Wagamama in London, this latest NYC outpost didn’t disappoint!
The drink and food was uninspired. Their staff were uninterested and inattentive.
Food very good. Nice ambiance except music a bit too loud for us. Also my husbands food was brought out first, then my daughters and I had to ask when mine was coming out. Should have come out all together or at least closer together.
Server had little to no knowledge of gluten free options. Very unfortunate:(
I have been going to Wagamama since 20+ years in the London and since they opened in Boston and NYC. I was super excited to see an opening in Midtown as it's just a few blocks from my home.... I know they just opened but my first experience was a miss. Will be awhile before I give them a second trial.
