   Everything we had was lovely and the staff are wonderful- the only small gripe is that they advertise a Sunday roast when only soup and sandwiches were available on the lunch menu. Overall still a delightful experience.

   We went to Weavers for lunch and the food was excellent and great value. Service was good but after our meal when we wanted coffee we had to wait a while before we could get someone’s attention. Other tables were asked if they wanted anything else but not us - they were just busy. We really had a super lunch - probably the best we’ve ever had there - and as fairly regular customers we will of course be back.

   Food good but service disjointed. Understand it was busy but good staffing levels, just seemed to be the organisation. Had reserved table and seated quickly but ages before someone took our order. After our lunch waitress asked if all ok and if we would like anything else. Asked for a traybake but she left and did other tasks and this never arrived so gave up waiting and left….

   Very poor menu. Obviously no suitable chef of chefs employed since mid. Summer, therefore offered tinned soup or a prepared ready meal , meaning nothing like the pervious year when they acclaimed to be awarded winning . I would suggest that the works canteen is a better option for a decent meal.

   The food, service and staff are amazing. Considering it was very busy, it went without a hitch, especially as the johnstones sale was on too. Compliments to Brett, the manager whom we noticed was great with his staff and worked even harder to keep it clean and tidy and ready for the next customers.

    The food was first class, I had the Blackpudding with pear & poached egg salad. This was so yummy and I highly recommend it. My husband had the haddock goujons and he said they were excellent.

    Unfortunately we booked online and therefore we’re not made aware of the reduced menu. However, what we had was good and service was polite and friendly as always. Flat whites were very good !

    Very much enjoyed our lunch. One of our party is vegetarian and although there wasn't a suitable filling in the classic sandwich selection which was a bit disappointing, the waitress very willingly ordered her an egg mayonnaise filling (which was in the children's section). We hope to be back as the food was good and the staff very attentive.

    We were a group of friends meeting and chatting over coffee/tea/scones/cakes. Service and food very good. I visit on a regular basis. I like that it is table service and they never harass you to leave.

    Was busy but service was really poor. Not normally the case so definitely a busy or short staffed day. Waited long to be seated despite booking. Had to ask to be served so we could order. Food took a long time without advance notice. Tried to order cakes after but was ignored by 3 staff. New sweet potato flatbread is great but needs lots more yogurt dressing as bit dry overall without it. Great addition to the menu though. Will be back hopefully better next time

    Food varied typical lunches sandwiches soup burger lots of salads with daily specials board, cakes good choices hot pudding delicious and all hot & cold drinks. Meet friends there and will continue to do so.

    We went for afternoon tea yesterday and it was really good. My only complaint was that when it asked if we had any dietary needs there was one vegetarian and there was hardly any savouries for vegetarians. It was mostly meat. Apart from that it was good it just would of been good to have more vegetarian for the savoury option instead of just one tomato and cheese little quiche.

    Very poor service waited over 40 minutes once I chased drinks and food they then came and told me there was a problem with their tablets for putting menus to kitchen. Had 1 yr old with me and definitely not toddler friendly

    The Christmas lunch was tasteless. My plate was practically full when it was cleared by a waitress who didn't seem to notice or to ask if 'everything was alright'!! The whole experience was very disappointing. I did think of complaining but I was so disappointed I just wanted to leave. I was aware of the staffing problems through their Facebook page and it was certainly reflected in my experience of Christmas lunch at Weavers. I won't be going back.
