Waited 30 min. for water, 1 he. for appetizers and entree came after siting there for 1 1/2 hrs.

No explanation, no I’m sorry we are running behind, waitress overwhelmed.

Nice menu, but for the prices of this place it should be better. This is our second time here, and service has been blah. Both times our food came before we had utensils on the table. We had a soup, and salad delivered and sat there looking at it without utensils. The first time we were there the manager was arguing with an employee about making "rollups" utensils rolled up in a napkin. We thought it was a one-time issue and came back because we liked the menus, but obviously, it hasn't been resolved It wasn't a great experience. The greeters and servers were not particularly friendly and we felt like we were an inconvenience to them and the place has an overall disorganized feel to it.

White Dog Haverford is NOT White Dog Wayne.
The bartender in Haverford needs to go back to school, or the waiter needs to be alert and verify what a customer orders. I ordered a Manhattan and the Luxardo cherry was missing in action. No problem, the waiter said, I will provide two on your next round.
Excuse me? So the second round arrives and now the orange rind was MIA.

Operation is not buttoned up and this was not my first visit. Perhaps I will return to Wayne where the quality AND the presentation are First Class.

White dog truly never disappoints. We sat outside in the tent which was spaced out- the noise level was at times tough to communicate with the person across the table due to the tent walls and a large party. I did find hair in our crab cake and let the service staff know but the reception was that not that big of a deal. Especially at times with Covid, it’s a little baffling at how that could happen- I get it, mistakes happen.

Always a good place to meet a friend for lunch. There is outdoor seating under a tent, with heaters. It was still a little chilly the other day, but we could have eaten inside, and we managed to sit out there for over two hours, and were never rushed. We both ordered the avocado BLT, which is delicious, but very messy. The Kennett Square Mushroom Soup is always wonderful. We hate the ridiculous mason jars for drinking!! They make the drink dribble down your chin! Nothing cool about that....So the waitress was happy to give us regular glasses.

A very enjoyable luncheon experience. Food was tasty, the atmosphere pleasant, and the staff welcoming and pleasant.

This is the first time since the pandemic that our friends and my husband and I opted to dine inside the restaurant! We all felt comfortable with all of the safety precautions in place!

The outdoor seating (under a tent in a parking lot) is quite pleasant, despite the location. Service was attentive and quick. The lunch menu is limited but interesting. My husband really enjoyed his burger, and there is a good choice of cocktails and draft beers.

Great place for any occasion. We celebrated my wife's birthday. Everything was exceptional from the service to food and drinks.

First time we have eaten inside since the covid restrictions. We disappointed with the maintenance on the interior, ie. stained upholstery, beat up tables, etc.

The service was slow and the food was not up to par with past experiences at this location.

Excellent choice if you happen to be in the Haverford area. We visited the colleges around the place and had lunch at the White Dog Cafe. Excellent food, nice decoration.

1st time here. Overall we were disappointed. Was told 30+min. wait for table - but was able to get one right away on Opentable while standing at hostess. Steak was overcooked. Told should be med-rare, came medium and server admitted a bit overcooked but did nothing about it.

We eat here frequently as it is close to our homes and has lovely outdoor eating space. Food is usually quite good but not much to rave about. Prices s bit high It was crowded our recent visit and service was a bit spotty

We have dined here many times, thus had our usual high expectations. The restaurant was packed. We were seated on time and then waited 20 minutes to get a server's attention. Once we finally put in our orders, the wait was not long. The food, meh, to be honest. For the prices they charge, the kitchen needs to step up its game. Tiny portions, high prices. Our place setting included a bread plate and butter knife... but, where was the bread. At the end of the day, I'm afraid we'll be dining elsewhere.

Great care in cleaning. As always a great experience even given the current situation.

Date day! We went at lunch and had a terrific meal.

If you sit outside for dinner, request the side of the tent out of the sun.

Food and service was great. Loved the outside seating. Biggest problem was they only had 1 person bathroom for the whole restaurant on Easter Sunday. One of the bathrooms was out of order. The 1 working bathroom was also not clean.

We had a really disappointing dining experience today for Easter Sunday. We arrived on time and had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. When we were finally sitting, it took 20 minutes to even get a drink. Apparently they had the the bartender making all the drinks and serving all the tables in the bar area on his own on Easter Sunday. When we asked the manager about it, he said they had 600 reservations that day and were doing the best they could. It sounded like a terrible excuse for extremely poor planning on a holiday. We weren’t even told the specials when we sat down.

Aside from the poor service, we were seated in the bar area next to the bathroom. Not ideal, but we were hungry so we didn’t care at first. However, there was apparently an issue with the bathroom and there was a line of people waiting and basically standing on top of our table the entire meal. I honestly felt like I was dining at a Chuck-E Cheese. The worst part is, aside from the terrible service and the bathroom situation, no one even came up to us to acknowledge what was going on or to apologize. If I’m paying you $18 for a waffle, I expect better service. Otherwise, I would go to iHop. We were disappointed because we typically have great experiences here and this was just awful. Not sure if we will be going back.

I was put out when we were offered water and dog treats for our puppy and never got the dog treats after numerous requests. Not sure why they would be offered and then never given. You start to feel as though your business is not welcomed when something like this happens. I will think twice before going to White Dog/Haverford in the future.

We enjoyed our visit to the White Dog. The decor was bright and fun and the staff very attentive. Our food was delicious as well and they accommodated all our requests. We will definitely be dining there again!
