Whyte & Brown
Service was poor. Wasn’t offered a drink after being seated for 20 minutes. Eventually
Unlike other places in Soho where you have to queue to get a table, it's refreshing to be able to book a table and go to Whyte and Brown. The espresso martini is good, and the halloumi souvlaki is my favourite.
The staff are consistently friendly and helpful too.
It may not be popular with hipsters but it's a solid choice for lunch / drinks.
Lovely food I had chicken and my guest had a vegetarian option, restaurant was clean and welcoming, will definitely visit again
The restaurant has a great buzz and a menu with something for everyone.
We lunched as a group with 2 babies and were served quite fast, offered water and baby chairs.
Food was nice and overall service was very good as well.
Excellent food, very tasty and good size portions. Also, the atmosphere is very cosy and friendly.
We had a fantastic time at your restaurant and the staff were great. The area that has brought our overall score down was the desserts.
Having had such amazing starters and main it was disappointing to have such bland desserts. An area for improvement however would not stop me coming to the restaurant in the future.
Food was very flavoursome and the service was brilliant. Would definitely recommend for a week brunch spot!
Good food served by friendly Italian/New Yorker waitress.Good potions and good. wine and beer options.
We were seated upstairs in airy bright area.
Always enjoy visiting here
Fabulous crispy buttermilk chicken with french toast - though French toast too burnt.
Fantastic and warm service from Eloise and Nadia , though hit and miss service from other waitresses (on Thursday, we were served by another waitress, who took our order , and then 20mins later when Eloise came to talk to us , she came back over to reconfirm our order and then put it into the computer system; so about 40mins waiting for food - compared to previous days when received food within 15mins of being seated and ordering ).
Would definitely return ! - though will probably request to be served by Nadia and Eloise.
Great service, clean and friendly. Food was tasty and arrived really quickly. Nice ambiance in a busy lively area of Carnaby Street.
A great place to meet
Mixed. I booked a table for 7 people, received confirmation from the App and called the restaurant direct on the day before to reduce the table to 6 people. However, when I arrived they had no trace of the booking whatsoever. They allocated a table and took our order. Unfortunately the waitress decided that those of us not having a starter should have our main courses when the starters arrived. This threw the rhythm of our meal completely. Food was good but anyone with an average appetite may not want a starter. I might go back but I would be wary of the chaotic service, which is why I’ve marked it down.
Food and service great as always!
great as always. good food and staff always attentive
Went for simple mashed avocado toast and poached egg breakfast. Avocado had been watered down with tomatoes, the poached eggs were very watery and the rocket salad was overly dressed in oil. The whole meal was very wet. Left very unsatisfied. Something so simple to get right! Will not be dining there again.
Good vibe. Portion size are proper. Friendly service.
Sorry to say I wish I had not booked this restaurant. It was not what I expected. The reception on arrival was poor, the attendant didn't listen to a word we said and offered us a breakfast menu when we were there for lunch. We thought the menu choices were poor; when I looked online before I booked I was sure it was a more expansive menu. At all times during our meal we had to signal for service and to pay our bill. Although there seemed to be a lot of servers around we appeared to be invisible to them. The whole place needs to sharpen right up. We did not enjoy our meal. So usual and annoying to have to give such a poor review; we would rather not!
Great quality food - something for everyone!
Over priced dry chicken c
Everyone enjoyed they're meal and the location was perfectly London.
They didn’t have our booking when we arrived but everything else was pretty good
Was going to theatre stopped off at Carnaby Street found this place nice food nice atmosphere well come back next time in London
If you love chicken you'll love Whyte and Brown! Great food served in a bright and vibrant setting in the heart of Soho. What's not to love?!
Amazing place in the heart of Carnaby St. Friendly staff and excellent atmosphere
Wonderful Chicken Shop with large portions and delicious cocktails.
I think I've written a review for Whyte and Brown before but I think the staff are really nice and I always enjoy the souvlaki - always come away full and happy.
Chicken focussed restaurant with surprisingly good vegetarians options. 3 of our party are veggies and all had a great meal. Slow service which needed chasing several times but it's a good choice in the nice environs of Kingly Court. Bar and area downstairs is also good for a quick lunch
Been coming here for years and always great place to just grab a bite and catch up with friends. Very chilled and easy going without worrying about having to rush. It has very good food and does the trick for a quick fix of either a drink or filling that hunger gap. In the summer the courtyard is great if you can nab a table.
The staff are always friendly and there are great healthy options, also great espresso martinis!
Good food in a good location
special place to visit, we had our first evening in Londen and were suprised.
you need to visit this restaurant at evening, perfect place.
Service was perfect
Great food in a lovely restaurant! Will most likely be returning
I have enjoyed a few meals here but unfortunately we had under cooked chicken on this occasion. Whilst it was kind of them to give us 15% discount and free coffee, we were still charges for 2 undercooked chicken kebabs!!
We had a lovely birthday meal here, the upstairs area is really nice and the souvlaki is super tasty.
We also really enjoyed the green cola they serve now.
Food was fine but very poor in terms of catering for people who are lactose and gluten intolerant . Food came with dressing on it despite being told twice that a member of our party couldn’t eat it for medical reasons. We’re quite rude about it when asked to change the food to what we had ordered. Then refused to take the service tip off at the end. Was quite disappointed as it made the more ‘dietary challenged ’ member of our party feel very awkward.
Food was good and arrived promptly however it was a busy Saturday night and we had to stop a waiter to ask for a pudding menu and the bill as we were on a tight schedule to get to the theatre.
Much better than the last time! We had a lovely waitress but I can’t remember her name - she was French
