The food were great and definitely recommend for others to come and try!!
The main waitress was very cold and borderline rude. The food was ok nothing special, the menu is extensive therefore perhaps hard to perfect in any. I had a few meals there but service seems deteriorated each time, hope it has not changed owners.
Really good food- chicken breast a bit dry but other than that pretty great night with friends. Waitresses could have been more attentive end of night trying to get our bill
Everything was delicious! Love that it is BYO.
Good menu, too many to choose.
We were very happy with what we selected.
Great food, great service at a reasonable price, well worth the visit, definitely going back
Consistently good. Best Japanese in Sydney
Great restaurant great food great staff!!
Will come again!
Having dined here many times I can confirm that the food remains at the highest standard and freshly prepared. This is as close to dining in a fine small yakitori or isakaya in Osaka or Tokyo as you are likely to find in this country. I urge visitors to try the chargrilled kingfish head and the more "crossover" offerings liked the stuffed zucchini flowers. Highly recommended.
This place never disappoints!!! Beautiful food and wonderful service.
Excellent restaurant nice foods nice waitresses love all dishes that we try
Definitely go back again!!!!
Such a great little Japanese fix in the middle of Haberfield! It honestly feels like you're walking into a Yakitori Bar in downtown Tokyo.
Brilliant as always, super friendly staff and the dishes are exceptional.
The place was a total vibe, food and service was great
Excellent choice of food, really good flavours and portion sizes. Excellent value for money and great setting for a midweek date night. Try to avoid the seating at the back of the restaurant as this has a slight draft from the back door, however we asked to move and they accommodated straight away. Staff very friendly and attentive, service was quick and the dishes came out exactly as we had finished the previous course.
Overall very satisfied.
The food and the ambience just brought me back to my holiday in Japan!
Calamari was outstanding and the rest of the food delicious. Excellent, attentive service
Absolutely delicious. The banquet meal was tremendous and exceptional value for money.
We were placed on the end of bar, so all waitresses would walk past when taking food/ drinks or when bringing back dirty dishes. A few times they either got my elbow or my stool. It was a little uncomfortable. The food was ok. Disappointing steak (a lot of fat and a bit chewy) and sashimi was cut as thick as a steak (although it was ok fresh). They need a guy to cut thy better. Same was great
By far the best Japanese in Sydney if not Australia.
Not only the food but the atmosphere within the restaurant are above and beyond.
Really good, great staff. Highly recomend this restaurant. It's my happy place..
Amazing Yakitori restaurant. Top quality food and great value for money.
Great night dining out with friends, though it was a very hot night and the aircon/fan could not cope. Food was great as always, esp the sashimi taco and miso kingfish.
Great find! Delightful small restaurant. Could be in Japan! Creative food and lovely people. We will definitely be returning.
The food was delicious. We especially loved the sashimi plate. It was tasty and fresh. The food was also suitable for our small children. It was extremely good value
Always have a great meal here. We will be back again and again. So many great dishes.
Amazing food! Absolutely felt like we were in Japan enjoying a delicious meal of yakitori and sashimi and everything else! Will definitely go back with friends and enjoy the banquet...
Interesting, tasty food, that was served in a friendly and efficient way. The restaurant is small, cosy, and atmospheric - and quite inexpensive compared with the cost of a flight to Japan.
Without question one of the best Japanese restaurants, in this price range in Sydney. Reminds me of the great little izakaya bars in downtown Yokohama by the river. Perfectly cooked yakitori, attentive service, good portion sizes, and the Happy Hour serves rarer Japanese beers at only $5-6. A must if looking around the Inner-West - plus finding a carpark is much easier than, say Newtown or Glebe.
Little neighbour gem...quite authentic and good food.
Love this place. Will be coming back soon. Authentic yakitori in a local setting.
Great food and service
An excellent friendly neighbourhood restaurant with authentic great Japanese food.
Yes, I would recommend to a friend but I would comment on the price. Food was good but value was not at all. I would think twice before returning
Nice food and good service, the place is really cramped and they gave us a really narrow seating area with tiny table to fit our food. They wouldn’t give us the big tables which were empty even after we left.
We love the food. But our seating position was awkward and the staff, while eager to please are not well trained. Our friends next today said they had upset tummies. We will return, just probably on a quiet night and without friends.
Had a wonderful meal here. Again! Took the kids and they were well looked after (we went early) amazing food. Great service. We will be back again
hall serving girl ( korean) was impolite. the restaurant wasnt full, but it was difficult to get served. i wouldnt go there again.
My favourite restaurant but always too busy , the table are too small, but food n service still great
Great food wonderful service
It maybe small but large in food and Sevice
