Always a very nice place to entertain. But I was a tad disappointed when I asked for a complimentary parking slip and was told to spend $100 and above. I have always been able to get such vouchers for my guests at the Cafe.

Appreciate their service on food serving to the best temperature. Chef was excellent in getting the finest Chinese cuisine done. Ambience is little too cosy compared to other Chinese restaurants. Their house pour price has doubled.

Service was Yan Ting was excellent and the staff made the visit most enjoyable for my parents and me. The a la carte menu was pretty good - some things were a hit and miss - the sweetcorn and crab meat soup stands out as does the Peking Duck and Roasted Pork Belly. Others like the Fish Maw Broth were not as good.

I reserved our last day at this restaurant for our lunch with some trepidation, with some bias that I will be expecting not much from an inhouse dining just located on the second floor. But much to my surprise, the ambience was cheerful, bright, buzzling with diners and was ushered to private area that give us some privacy from the main hall. Foremost we were greeted by a bubbly waiter by the name of Weng. He imbued with so much enthusiasm in recommending the right dishes for us and introducing us to vegetables that we never heard or seen before. One special dish was cooked with fermented tofu that has the right balance much to the delight of all. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of what was in the kitchen, how it was cooked and chose every dish with so much delight and joy in his eyes. He was infectious in his character, engaging in his animated conversations and entertaining that brought our last meal in this very delightful experience and a definite place for us to return on our next visit. Make sure you look for WENG!

Would have been perfect if the service staff was better trained. Wouldn’t be too difficult to wait for each course to be completed before serving the next course. Ordered the luxury set and so each course had unique ingredients and was spectacularly prepared…. Unfortunately each of them were served without any introduction and guests had to confirm with me what they were eating. Tea served was below expectation…. Should use better quality tea for such a restaurant. Chef’s skill and ambience was otherwise stellar.

the food is average and doesn’t feel the worth of the price tagged to the menu. the ambient is good but the guests speech and be easily heard. the service staff is courteous and good knowledge of the good. generally, the dining session ordinary. not proud to speak about the restaurant to friends to invite them for another session.

First time trying Yan Ting and not disappointed at all. The food was super delicious and I really love the slow cooked soup of the day that exudes the essence of all the ingredients so fresh and tasty. Love the service rendered and attention to details. Very highly recommend.

Wait staff is downright disgruntled. Ordered a tasting menu, and even after asking them to not bring us further courses until we are done with the crab, they continued to do so. At one point there were 2 courses on the table sitting there getting cold while we are sitting there with gloves on eating a crab. We joked that it made it look like we were running a zhi char stall. Food was delicious but the chef is let down by the service staff. If 2 hours is not enough time to finish the menu, tell us, don't just rush us.

the service was efficient and courteous . Calvin who served us was also helpful in his service and recommendations. The dishes were served without our having to wait too long for them. it was about 1pm then, so I dont know what the waiting time would be at peak hour at 12-12.30. It was my first time at the restaurant with guests. and they were from overseas and were suitably impressed.. i would like to dine at the restaurant again... thanks

Top notch service. Roast chicken was spot on. Crispy and nicely succulent. Hairy crab — creamy and sweet as it should be. It is a must visit. Chinese culinary creations at their best.

Fish maw soup was overly salty. Deep fried Prawns with wasabi was salty and soggy Roast chicken, no wow factor.eat at hawker center better. Crab meat fried rice still can pass, lack the wok hei flavor. The rice also not hot enough. Such a unforgettable letdown.

The food and service at Yan Ting are as usual great. My parents enjoyed the dim sum. Appreciate the servers very much too as they were attentive, friendly and helpful. One thing for the restaurant's consideration: - The fish maw soup with dried scallops was somewhat fishy and my parents finally did not finish it. I'd tasted it while it was piping hot and the fishiness then was I think masked. Nonetheless, Yan Ting is a restaurant that I've visited many times and will continue to do so.

The food is average with limit selection for dim sum lunch. Service was not attentive. If you are looking for 5 star hotel Chinese restaurant experience, there are many other better choices out there, THIS IS NOT THE ONE TO GO. I called the restaurant one week before the reserved time, I asked the staff if I can use marriot bonvoy gift card value for the visit, the staff answered yes. However, during the payment time, the staff took 20-30 minutes to get back to me that the gift card can not be used till October. Totally disappointed with the wrong information given by the staff.
