Yardley Inn Restaurant and Bar
Nestled along the Delaware River in bucolic Bucks County, the Yardley Inn is a great place to enjoy waterside dining near Philadelphia.
focaccia croutons, Caesar dressing
buttermilk rouille, pickled cherry pepper, fine herbs
We dined in the outside tent like facility. Temp was comfortable.
Great place to lunch in Bucks County. My only comment is that the young staff , however pleasent they may be are inexperienced.
Great service and good meal lemon chicken was great raviolis were a little cold excellent wine great atmosphere
Stopped for a quick bite. Had a delicious Yardley burger and a few beers! A nice treat after cooking all day on Thanksgiving....recommend it highly!
Thanksgiving. Turkey dry and portions were small for the price. Brussel sprouts appetizer was better than the turkey dinner.
Wonderful food and our server was very nice and informative. The Crab Bisque was absolutely superb. Great experience and we are now going back for Thanksgiving.
We sat outside under tent with heaters and was more than comfortable . Went early so few patrons. Will be going back
Enjoyed lunch with a friend in outdoor area due to pandemic. Food and service were very good.
Great food , great place
Nice atmosphere and excellent food! good wine too! place was nice and busy even with capacity limitations in place in PA. Halibut was excellent!
Food wonderful; service fantastic! Great place to share a meal with a friend!
Pleasant day with good food, outside under the tent with view of river.
Our waitress was amazing! She was on top of everything . We will be back
Our first visit but the menu will bring us back. Not to mention the great service.
We used to really enjoy our lunches here. The past couple times we have visited, we have noticed a steady decline. This recent visit was the worst experience in both service and food. We do not plan to return in the near future. Our food was cold and the service was horrible.
We enjoyed our lunch and enjoyed sitting outside on a beautiful day
Our first time and they scored big time! From the minute we walked in everything was just perfect. Our waiter, Brett was fantastic. He knew the menu inside and out, was well versed on drinks - he was a pleasure. My husband had the pork shank and I had the crab cakes. Both were excellent ... and they there were the brussels sprouts! To die for!!
This cozy Inn is a gem. Great all the way around.
I had requested a window seat and also mentioned that we were celebrating 2 birthdays that night. When we arrived, I was told NO window seats were available. When we sat down one row back from the windows, I observed 4 empty window tables...I understand spacing due to Covid; however those same four tables were unoccupied for two hours until we left at 8pm. The 16 ounce Kansas City Steak was excellent although my order was not accurate( I had ordered horseradish Demi-glaze with root vegetables and crispy leeks, but received asparagus stalks. I ordered the crab bisque and instead, received the Chicken soup special. Even though I had mentioned the two birthdays both in my reservation and to the waitstaff, no special provision was made. Our waitress was excellent; she did comp two desserts for my entree mishap.
I wish I had known about this place sooner. I'm sure it helped that I made reservations for 5pm, the opening of their dinner seating. My husband and I were seated immediately, at a quiet table with a view of the Delaware River. Our server Cheryl was pleasant and attentive to everything we needed. We put in an order for seasonally influenced cocktails- I enjoyed the apple cider sangria. The menu has some smaller bites as well as more substantial or shareable appetizers. We unintentionally filled up on those, so we ordered soup & salad, no main dish. We both had the crab bisque and it was excellent. My kale salad was hearty and flavorful with the freshly grated cheese and dressing. We finished with two delicious, perfectly portioned cheesecakes to take home. The ambiance was satisfying - and it was quiet even as the dinner crowd picked up - the entire time we were there, which was about an hour and forty five minutes. There were plenty of windows to watch the afternoon daylight fade to nighttime over the river. With seasonal decor & plantings, with lighting outside, and the warm service, it made for a nice relaxing autumn evening to celebrate our anniversary.
Always an excellent time at the Yardley Inn...Frank was our bartender and Nick was our server...absolutely the best. You won’t be disappointed.... highly recommended.
Great late lunch with my daughter and best friend in memory of my late husband on the 6th anniversary of his death.
Macy was our server and she was delightful. Food and drink delicious, a very enjoyable meal. Thank you.
enjoyable evening and relaxing, really liked tower appetizers
Another fabilous dinner at the Yardley Inn !
As usual the food and the atmosphere were outstanding. Michelle should be proud of what she has imbued in her staff. They make the experience a delight. I want to congratulate the server Napoleon in particular. He deserves a “well done” and a bonus. Thoughtful, polite, knowledgeable, and extremely capable. I always feel lucky to find someone like him at even the best restaurants. Ray Arzounian
Our favorite place...from the front of house to the bar everything is first class. Nick and Michele are AMAZING. Consistently excellent. Highly recommended.
Everything was fabulous, as usual! Service was quick, and you could barely tell that covid was an issue, they handled it all so well.
Fully appreciate the efforts that The Yardley Inn has made to create a safe pleasant outdoor dining experience. Food and service were spot on.
Date night done right! Wonderful food and staff made for a lovely evening. Felt safe and secure dining inside too because everyone was well spaced out!
Since it was warm outside for October, we sat in the outdoor area. It was great, beautiful view of the riversides, great food, good service, just a great time!
Atmosphere, service and food were good. We felt safe having lunch outside,
lovely setting. Attention to our safety during this difficult time was reassuring.
All of us enjoyed our food choices and the waitress was very attentive.
We decided to bring our friends to the Yardley for dinner, we eat here two to three times a week...as ALWAYS, Nick the bartender goes above and beyond to make sure we have an excellent meal and even BETTER drinks. Never had a bad experience here. Highly recommended especially on the weekend with Nick at the bar.
Nick was a very attentive and professional waiter. Really had a great meal!
Our waitress was pleasant but I would have enjoyed another drink with dinner had she asked. Still, no big deal. My husband loved his meal but for him the crab bisque had too much of a kick and he did not finish it..But some would like it that way. My salad was very good but i was disappointed with the duck. My portion was a bit overdone and chewy. Rolls were hot and tasty. It was our first time there and we enjoyed ourselves but I don't think we take the 40 minute drive to return.
A rare, disappointing visit to a favorite. We were expecting dinner menu but only brunch/lunch was available on this Sunday. That was not clearly advertised beforehand. It was mostly salvaged by a great table seating (corner front window). Blame the pandemic, I guess.
Lovely in the court yard and noisy motorcycles on a sunny Sunday.
Great food and drink!
Meal was great and our server Nick was attentive and provided great service.
This was a wonderful outdoor dining experience! There was a tent with most of the flaps closed but some on either end open which provided the necessary ventilation, but then as it got chillier they had space heaters available which was great. The servers were attentive and also always wearing masks. Spacing was great between tables.
