Great neighborhood restaurant! Good food, good drinks, nice attentive service.
best restaurant in Tribeca, great food, great service, great ambiance
Salmon cooked perfectly but was unfortunately too salty!
Cocktails are unique and great, food is amazing, and the staff is very friendly!
Allison was amazing
Lovely staff - creative and simple menu - delicious food
Great food and drinks. Nice place for a date
Escargot had some missing snailsnin the shells. I prefer them out of shell and all axxounted for. My pasta was too al dente. The mayor was a great drink though!
Went for dinner. Delicious steak, chicken, side dishes. Salads were fresh and tasty. Lemon cake was a surprise hit--paired well with a perfect, strong shot of espresso. Lively atmosphere, but we were able to talk/hear each other. I loved the decor: white brick, wood shutters, retro chic light fixtures. Low key, casual french chic. Service friendly and stylish. Waiters in black turtle necks and little white chef coats. My new go-to place in the neighborhood. Great for a date or small group.
many of the dishes are modern while also harking to comfort food, a very welcome combination.
The food was less than stellar considering the price - ordered the baked eggs and had to send back because they weren't actually baked. It's a cute restaurant and service was nice but the food wasn't worth the price.
Very good food, interesting but limited menu, attentive service, reasonably priced. I’ll go back again.
No one came to get a drink order. It was challenging to get attention when needed. Love the spot. But felt the service (coordination assuring the patrons needs are met) could’ve been better. Lastly, and in support of the staff, one of our party is difficult. Our waiter handled that and all else well.
Yves is one of my favorite restaurants in NYC! The food is outstanding and everyone who works there is kind and attentive. Chef Alex and her team put so much love and care into their dishes. It’s cozy and intimate, and quiet enough that you can hear your dining companions. It’s great for a weeknight date night or a special occasion - we celebrated a family milestone birthday at Yves and would 100% do so again.
this place is very yummy and the service is fantastic. i like the bar vibe as well as the restaurant vibe. the fries are.......... the best in nyc! its a fabulous neighborhoodspot but its also worth the trip from elsewhere in town
Great mix of the casual and the sophisticated. Food first-rate, service friendly and not overbearing. Romantic little corner of Tribeca.
Decent out of office lunch spot in nicely renovated setting from prior restaurant. Menu could be expanded.
Loved every meal we’ve eaten at Yves. Yves is the jewel of TriBeCa. Love they change the menu frequently (they change up the cocktails too).
Great staff and great food !
2nd time. Really enjoyed.
Very good experience Service was excellent. Food was very good overall. Just dont order the pickled mackerel unless you grew up in Nova Scotia.
Other than the noise level -- Yves had fabulous food and friendly staff.
Went here for lunch. The menu was great not too big of a selection. Good pricing for the area. Ambiance is absolutely wonderful. Food was very good. Good for conversations over food.
We were out for brunch when a huge noise of plates dropping hit the air. I got liquid sprayed on me. I thought it was was water but it was ketchup!!! A waitperson had dropped the tray and ketchup went flying...on my new pants, new blouse, the table, my husbands hair. It was quite a mess. Our waiter was quick to react and got salt and seltzer to remove the stains. Most came out before we left the restaurant. Luckily the cleaners took car of the rest. In spite of all the chaos our waiter was great and we had a delicious meal...and a glass of wine on the house.
Friendly service & good food (great veal milanese & duck)!
Work in the neighborhood, and was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and service. Had a truly terrific meal, and highly recommend the schnitzel- excellent. It was a tad pricey I will say that- Two apps, one main, two drinks- $115 before tip.
The service was awful! The escargot came with out without holders or special forks. Didn't live up to the review in the NY times.
Ended up here for an impromptu dinner with a friend. Loved my appetizer of roasted beets. Ordered the duck which was ok, but not a great value for the price. Service was good and drinks were delicious.
Yves is my favorite spot in the neighborhood. You have the most lovely ambiance and staff xx
I took my father to Yves during his recent visit to New York, and we had an outstanding time. The breeze coming up Moore St. from the water, views of the neighborhood, and glimpses of Pier 26 from the outdoor tables were wonderful, and it was a great opportunity for my dad to take in the character of the city. The service here is impeccable--always attentive and friendly--and José deserves a special shout-out for helping to make the evening a perfect experience. The grilled leaks and crispy faro were a hit for our first course and my dad (a frequent trout fisherman) couldn't stop raving about the crispy skin on the pan-seared steelhead trout. Neither of us could get enough of the grilled green beans with amandine vinaigrette. For dessert, the stone fruit and almond cake and chocolate & hazelnut gateau with mint ice cream were both perfect finishes: the former light with luscious fruit, the later dense and rich with crispy layers. Needless to say, we left very happy and VERY full. Yves is truly excellent and, since the menu changes with seasonal availability, I can't wait to see what the chef has in store as we move into fall!
Restroom was filthy which is a bad marker for a restaurant overall.
I had duck 2 ways and it was tasty but pricey. The restaurant is nice but very noisy and casual.
So delicious! Perfect place for a romantic date sharing french food. Staff is super attentive and the flavors are amazing.
VERY noisy. Impossible to have a conversation.
Cassoulet is not actually a real casssoulet.
Lovely little neighborhood French bistro with interesting menu and good cocktails. Friendly service and great ambience.
Only criticism is they can’t figure out how to cook their burger correctly. On three separate visits they got the temperature completely wrong and way over cooked the burger from what should’ve been medium rare to a tough very well. Frustrating.
Our waiter Elijah was brilliant, welcoming, and made the entire experience incredibly enjoyable!
Great brunch, interesting menu with a fair amount of variety, good service, not as tight as most Manhattan eateries.
Delicious food. Great service !
