In the past, always enjoyed this restaurant. I ordered Pork and Figs and got Pork and Potatoes. When I mentioned that there were no figs in the plate, I was give a small bowl of dried figd. Serve and present what your menu says!
A very nice experience. Sadly, I had to park 20 feet from the front door, but I will be ok. A little bit different from Bordentown. Let's do the sesame coated tuna appetizer again.
We've been here twice in the last month and will be going back again soon.
Very nice evening and food was very good. Food portions were good, and Calamari was exceptional. Would recommend to others.
My husband and I love the food, he has veal franchee and I had pasta with shrimps and clams. They are very delicious except mine I can tasted crunching of sands from the clams. That’s all my complaint.
We ate here summer 2019 and had one of the very best meals ever. From the quality of food, to service, everything was on point just like at Toscanos in Bordentown city. We moved out of the area last July and are visiting this week. We decided to go out to dinner with two other couples, one which had come with us last time. I was so excited to get amazing food and was looking forward to this night out.
The experience was much different. The atmosphere felt icy, the waiter wanted to be funny but he wasn’t, and the bus girl was trying to clear plates as soon as one person was done. It was very rushed. The food was not on par. My husband ordered a chicken dish off their regular menu that had chicken thighs in it. Somehow they dried it out. It was inedible. I crave for their specials. I had the pork tenderloin. It was ok...very dry as well.
After that experience, the restaurant I longed to come to while being away for 7 months will not be on my list next time. I would suggest just waiting to try to get ressies at toscanos in Bordentown city. The one advantage to Ravello is that it is BYOB. However, I would rather pay for my liquor and wine and have better food.
It was very good but we waited a long time for food due to take out orders etc
Food was great as usual. My wife thought the waiter was a bit pushy but overall we enjoyed our evening out.
Due to Covid the tables were spaced out perfectly. Our flatbread appetizer with meatballs was great! We ordered the tuna special, pasta special with rigatoni and mushrooms (the porcini mushrooms melted in your mouth), chicken Parmesan with gnocchi, and fettuccini with bolognese. It was all delicious. I thought the tuna would have gone better with a grain salad or crunchy veggies rather than mashed potatoes, but the sushi grade tuna was cooked perfectly. The food is always solid here and we look forward to returning!
Our favorite restaurant in the area. Food always fresh, creative, and delicious. Staff is exceptional: they are professional, friendly, and want to please! We are particularly impressed with the practices they employ during the pandemic, totally committed to keeping everyone safe.
Excellent service and the food was first rate. The ambience was very quiet. Fantastic choice for desserts.
Local BYOB that is always phenomenal. Great cozy, comfortable atmosphere. It’s easier to get in now during Covid, but be assured they take every precaution to keep staff and diners safe. The staff is very friendly And attentive. K
Ravello's is one of our all-time favorites. The food is creative, consistently delicious, and plentiful. The ricotta and walnut ravioli is one of the best things we have ever eaten anywhere! The waitstaff is exceptional and always tuned in to the diners needs.
Apps, entrees and dessert were excellent. Great service
The food is very good and sometimes you find an unexpected combination of ingredients.
Wonderful menu, the specials were all excellent combinations of delicious foods. The calamari app is the second best version ( Toscano’s bacon dusted version gets my vote as number one ) I have ever eaten.
Food and service were exemplary! Would highly recommend!
I would highly recommend Ravello to anyone who is looking for a fabulous meal.
This was our first time at the restaurant. I appreciated that since we were near a rather large, noisy party of diners, someone came over and asked if we preferred moving to a quieter area. In addition, our waiter Jason was very knowledgeable, attentive ,and helpful. The bread was amazing; warm, toasted with evoo and garlic, served with tasty green olives. I ordered the veal with mushrooms and arugula in a brown sauce over a pasta. My husband ordered the pork and pig. Both dishes were perfectly cooked, prepared with care, but very saucy and a bit on the sweet side. Portions were large so we enjoyed our leftovers the next night at home. Next time we will dress warmer since we found the restaurant a bit on the chilly side. I look forward to trying some of their other dishes in a future visit!
We love our meals at Ravello and are never disappointed
Warm and rustic food! Delish. Byob
Food was Delicious! Service was great - Would highly recommend!
Great food with excellent service! Tuna appetizer was delicious highly recommend!
We returned to Ravello with our good friends on a quiet Thursday night , and although the food was good , I was very disappointed in my entree . As a long time customer who has ordered most of the entrees before , I ordered the Chicken and shrimp chorizo ( formerly chicken and shrimp Ravello ) which is supposed to be served on tagliatelle pasta . When the waitress brought our entrees (pork chop special , veal Ravello , linguini with clams , and the chicken and shrimp chorizo ) , I immediately saw that it was served over linguini instead of tagliatelle . That showed me that the chef that night was being lazy , and didn’t bother to cook the right pasta with the right dish ( a 3-4 minute effort ) . Our waitress asked if I wanted to send it back ( with all in our party already served) , but I declined so as not to delay the others in our party . Also , the shrimp served with the dish were probably 25-30 count shrimp ( without tail shell) , whereas they had always been nice 15-20 count jumbo shrimp with tail shell . Substituting lesser ingredients is not a good sign for any restaurant , especially one that has been as consistently excellent as Ravello .
Another great meal! I look forward to going back again soon!
Must have the calamari and they always have some great specials!
We travel 26 miles to Ravello's, our new go-to restaurant. The chef is first rate, turning out creative and absolutely delicious food on a consistent basis The newly-added ricotta and walnut ravioli is to die for!! The waitstaff is professional, personable, and very accommodating. And all restaurant personnel are sensitive to the COVID issues plaguing all of us and appear to be making every effort to keep their dinners safe.
Food is amazing as always. Enjoyed the night out.
Awesome pork chop. Every time!
Great food with a good atmosphere during COVID. We ate outside based on the current restrictions, and with the way it was set up, it didn't feel it. Each table had it's own heater and the background music that was playing helped make it feel like we were eating indoors.
The food selection was great, with good sized portions. I had the pork chop with a fig glaze, which was cooked perfectly. Would highly recommend this restaurant
We’ve been here several times both prior and after the start of the pandemic. They’ve done a great job and the food is consistently terrific.
We have been going to Ravello since they opened, and for the most part, always enjoyed their food. Yesterday changed our experience and we won't return. While our service was very good and food was excellent, our waiter told us at onset that there was a SPLITTING CHARGE! What? First, please don't dictate how I should eat. And second, dining out may be a luxury now for many people because of tight budgets and restaurants should be thrilled to have customers. Our waiter initially told us, in vague terms, the the sharing charge on an entree would be $2-4. We said we've never paid a sharing charge nor is there a notice of that on their menu. The three of us shared a large appetizer and large entree, which we couldn't finish. The bill came. Waiter made no mention of surcharge. However, when I reviewed the check, our$20 lunch entree was $25. When I asked the waiter, he said that he had to charge us the dinner entree price. WHAT? Without telling us. My sister even called the restaurant the next day and the response was indifferent.
C'mon. We will definitely not return and definitely tell our friends who go there. Shame on you, Ravello.
They are doing a wonderful job in dealing with this difficult pandemic situation. Very varied menu with delicious food.
Excellent food and service. Wait staff was very attentive and on point.
Always a good meal at Ravellos!
Meal was delicious and our waiter's service (Hector) was terrific as always!
Great at usual
Always great food and the service was good as well.
Food was excellent as always. They never disappoint.
