Food was amazing. Wine delicious too. But its not an overly comfortable place, and sitting next to the bar is not a good idea because of the noise. That said, we will definitely be going back!
Fun place, the small plates are actually larger than you'd expect. The scallops we had were cooked to perfection.

During Sunday's Bottomless Brunch my friend and 1 ordered every option(12). Several dishes that included bread were burnt. There was but one item heavily breaded that I would order again and that doesn't seem like a reason to come again. The staff was great but unfortunately bland and burnt food presented well isn't in my budget.
They make the best plate of fried oysters I have found anywhere.
Have been here many times. It never disappoints. Always delicious, creative food and beverage menus served by a wonderful staff.

This place is a hidden gem. The drinks are amazing and food was excellent. I cannot wait to come back and bring friends and family. I love the setup also , very cute . Love the decor and staff were uber friendly!!!
Food and drinks were good but overpriced for the amount/quality of food. We went during restaurant week and the grilled watermelon was joke. Scallops and fish were good.
We went to Minnow during restaurant week and it was amazing! Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. Drinks were very unique and delicious. The server told us about the food she liked and not just what was popular (which I always respect). All of the food, but especiialy the shrimp with charred noodles was also phenomenal. The service was a little slow towards the end but the restaurant got full quickly so it was probably from restaurant week. I definitely recommend going!
Just a delightful experience! It happened to be Restaurant Week, which is actually not our favorite time to dine out. But they had a fabulous deal that essentially used the regular menu (which was still available), so we were very happy about that. Everything we had was just excellent--the mussels were tender, the oysters fried perfectly--and the "small" dishes were surprisingly generous. The wine choices were great, and the per-glass price was very reasonable. Finally, the service was wonderful--friendly and very helpful, but not at all intrusive. We can't wait to go back!
Really enjoyed our dinner, but found this place to be overpriced overall - I don't think we'd come here without a special incentive (we were here for REstaurant Week). Very good food overall, with the exception of the octopus that two of our group of 4 had and neither enjoyed as it was rather rubby and not very flavourful; also, we felt the sauce it was sitting on was too strong for this dish. Also, the Tres Leches cake was pretty much only sweet and nothing else - the chocolate mousse, however, was by far the best we've had in the US! That was simply outstanding (and a generous portion!!). Wines very good but overpriced for the small pours. Overall ambiance nice but music was rather horrible and too loud - please pick some more appropriate dinner background music. This sounds very critical - I do'nt mean it that way, we had a very pleasant evening (even though it took a bit long between courses).
It's a great choice for restaurant week or any other time for that matter. We each had two small plates so we got to taste a wide variety of dishes. The food was creative, flavorful and nicely presented. It's a great atmosphere and lots of energy. It's a bit too noisy but that has a lot to do with the design. We were delighted.
Outstanding food. Rumor is they are changing their menu away from Seafood. That would be a shame.
I was a first time diner during Baltimore Restaurant Week, but I will not return. The good: the second bartender that served me was outstanding: very friendly, attentive, and observant. The three-course meal was fantastic. I had been craving seafood for a while and the octopus and scallops really exceeded my expectations. The rose cider was delicious; I’d keep that on tap. Amazing beverage. The bad: I was a single diner and chose to eat at the bar at 6pm before going out for drinks later on. The first bartender greeted me, asked if there was 2 of us. I said I was dining alone so I could eat before going out for drinks later with friends. He said “girl what are you doing eating alone on a Saturday night?” I then repeated that I was dining before going out for drinks and he then did air quotes and said “going out for drinks later” as if I was lying or something. First, for someone who works in a service-oriented position, I don’t care what you think, but you have no right to be rude. I didn’t realize being a single diner on a Saturday night at the bar had such a negative stigma. Second, he was not in the position to judge me for dining alone because when I arrived, there were no guests at the bar and the staff was standing around. I’d think that one would be glad that a guest showed up so they could serve and earn money. The second bartender who waited on me definitely turned it around, but the first impression of the restaurant and the staff was very, very poor. It’s unfortunate because I have heard amazing things about Minnow, but that first impression was enough to prevent me from returning. Restaurant Week was the only experience I’ll have with them.
Great experience our first visit here! Sommelier was most helpful and attentive during our entire dining experience. From the signature cocktails through the chocolate mousse dessert, we were happy with our choices. We went during restaurant week and we are sure to return soon!
Wide variety of small plates .There were 2 of us and each of us had 2 different small,plate items. All of our choices were very good.The drinks we ordered were good and there is a good selection of wines. The staff were very nice and. very sccomodsting. The complimentary valet parking was a real plus.A very nice evening.
We visited on a Sunday evening when restaurant was uncrowded and quiet. Food, service were outstanding and valet had my car waiting for me when we left restaurant before i could ask for it.
Amazing experience from the moment we walked in for Sunday brunch. Friendly greeting at valet and host stand. Our server was knowledgeable, efficient and personable. Tasted the entire brunch menu and was impressed with each dish served. It is clear that everyone on the staff is dedicated to providing a fantastic dining experience. Will now officially become regulars.
The food was quite good but the service and ambiance could be better given the prices.

Minnow never disappoints. It has a short menu, but plenty of choice. I like to order several small plates, but have gone large. Wine choices are reasonably priced and you can trust staff recommendations.

We enjoyed Minnow quite a bit. The room has a casual and cool vibe, the service was solid, as even the owner chatted with us when it was apparent there had been a small mistake with our order ( It was no big deal at all, but he wanted to make sure we were content and was sincere in his concern). We shared the peach/tomato salad (fresh and superb), the swordfish with beet hummus ( quite tasty) the lamb meatballs that had a quite wonderful sauce, the skirt steak ( decent enough) and the bronzino ( fresh, wish it had a light sauce, maybe a vinaigrette). All in all, it was a really nice night, and we recommend this cool spot.
Great place to go with friends. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great food and great drinks. Smalls and biggie (likely a play on the name of rapper Biggie Smalls) are offered. We ordered five smalls to share among four of us and only one biggie (the Squid Ink Paella) to share. The waiter mentioned they were changing the menu soon, so some of the items we enjoyed like the crispy soft shell crab, the crispy oysters, the charred octopus, and the shrimp and charred noodles may not be on the menu the next time, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. The specialty cocktails were creative and delicious as well. Oh, and having valet parking in that area was a plus!
INCREDIBLE experience, for value & quality! The range of food options for the bottomless brunch was seasonal, & covered the range from surf to turf without getting so broad as to cover "everything" just for the sake of broad appeal (excess for excess sake). Here... Seafood: the crispy oysters are perfectly done & fresh, none of the frozen crap to find at some local popular diner-themed places. The bacaloa fritters with were flavorful & light actually. Turf: the open sausage & rye was rich & tasty, flavorful without being a salt-fest. (One in our group LOVED the house-made rye.) Me & I always love the bacon, & the bacon here was very pleasing, not the skimpy kind you find at the grocery store, but the rich thick slices like you find at the farmer's market, both in their Maple glazed version & on the frittata. The eggs came at least 3 different ways: poached (duck egg on a polenta that was more on the grits end of the spectrum which I love), fritatta (substantial but not heavy, & the creamy salsa verde was a winner), & scrambled (I think this was the only thing on the bottomles brunch menu we didn't get to). The pastries (housemade molasses English muffins, chewy rush financier, the eye bread & toast, & my fave, the sweet potato scone, were all excellent. The house accommodated the needs of our party who couldn't stomach traditional mimosas (o.j. issues) by creating a fantastic champagne & agave honey cocktail for us. We thoroughly enjoyed the bottomles brunch & will be back. And no worries if bottomless isn't your style, they have the a la carte options as all. (But WHY???) Top off the food & drink with charming & attentive staff, a deft & creative hand from Chef Murray, the daily fresh/waste-not-want-not ethos (ask about it), & complimentary valet parking too - winner all around. I'm kinda worried the word will get out!
This is my second time enjoying Sunday brunch at Minnow, and it won't be my last! The food is exquisite, brought hot to the table, and every member of staff from the valet to the wait staff is smiling, friendly and personable. The three of us left happy and well-fed! Thanks for a wonderful experience.
We decided to go for my birthday dinner, I had never been but my husband had..and I was really impressed. We tried a few creative and perfectly prepped small plates including mussels frites, scallops, software and roasted beet salad. The Paella was better than ones I had in Valencia and Barcelona! Will definitely be back! The staff was super patient and friendly with our hangry, difficult group and went out of their way to accommodate special requests.

This was my first time dining and it is my new favorite restaurant. The food (all small plates) was outstanding! The cocktails were amazing as were the desserts. The service was excellent. Best birthday dinner ever!!!
Menu small, staff pleasant but service not great, food okay but not in line with prices. I was not really satisfied with the overall experience. I would not recommend or go back. There are plenty of great restaurants in Baltimore that are a much better value and experience.

Based on reviews we tried it. I didn't realize it was mainly small plates when I made the reservation and only about 5-6 big plates meant for 2 people. If there were more options for big plates, or we had more people, we might have gone with the big plates. There are about 15 options for the small plates but I was hoping for a bit more selection. Either way, it gave us the opportunity to try a lot of things. We ordered 6 small plates. They brought out 2 at a time, and timed them perfectly to our table each time. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. Our favorites were the mussels that were fantastic; the shrimp with charred noodles were really good; and the seared scallops were melt in your mouth good. I would definitely go again. Drinks were reasonably priced and the cocktails were creative.
