Rey's offers 6 private dining rooms for 6-200 guests, including a beautiful, new, addition to our dining space. A large part of the new space is covered, heated and air-conditioned with two walls of custom windows that open wide to view the uncovered patio portion. This room seats approximately 75 guests and includes a built-in bar, brick fireplace and Italian chandeliers. The open-air patio has two fire-tables, portable heaters and comfortable furniture for lounging and dining under the stars. I looked up Fine Dining in Raleigh and Rey’s popped up. I liked the menu selection so that convinced me to try it. I like the ala carte sides because we could share those and still have room for dessert. First time there and thoroughly enjoyed it.

We always enjoy dining at Rey's! We have been going a few times a year, but it has gotten a bit more expensive. We would definitely go more often if they brought back their Christmas in July promotion!

Rey’s is the epitome of fine dining. The service is exemplary and the food is magnificent!!! Every bite is a culinary treat!! I’ve had pretty much every item on the menu and have never been disappointed. They also make some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. My compliments to Rey and the staff - thank you for another world class meal.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rey's and I must say, it was the best dining experience I've had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the personal and professional service was exceptional. We sat at the bar and the bartender was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, wine pairings, and even local events in the area. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great experience. Now, let's talk about the food. The tuna and crab cake dishes were both excellent. The tuna was perfectly cooked and had a beautiful sear on the outside. The mango salsa complemented the flavor of the fish perfectly. The crab cakes were some of the best I've ever had. They were packed with fresh, sweet crab meat and had a nice crispy crust. We had the bread pudding and it was a nostalgic treat that reminded me of my mama's homemade dessert. The pudding was warm, moist, and had a subtle sweetness that was perfectly balanced. The texture was just right, with chunks of bread and raisins adding a pleasant chewiness to each bite. The vanilla and cinnamon flavors were prominent but not overpowering, and the creamy sauce complemented the dessert perfectly. I was impressed by how the restaurant was able to recreate such a classic dessert with such finesse. It's not easy to achieve that home-cooked taste, but they nailed it. The portion size was also generous, making it the perfect dessert to share with a friend or loved one. Overall, I highly recommend Rey's for their personal and professional service, as well as their outstanding food. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients really shine through in every dish. Whether you're looking for a special night out or a casual meal at the bar, Rey's is definitely worth a visit.

Our Party spent the day volunteering at Carolina Tiger Rescue and decided to get a nice dinner. The Staff were absolute snobs when we arrived - I can only assume because they thought we were underdressed. This is an overpriced restaurant for being on that side of town with mediocre food and creepy 40 year old decor. Bathrooms are comparable to a travel area.

It was our first time eating at Rey's and I tell you it did not disappoint! I was a little hesitant at first based on some of the reviews, but I tell you the food was amazing and the dessert was even better! Our server was amazing, she was so kind and knew the menu very well. I highly recommend the banana foster it was so delicious. One thing, I will have to call out is that the appetizer portions are very small.

We were disappointed. My husband ordered his filet medium and it was bloody red and had to be sent back. Service was mediocre. Not impressed at all, especially for the high prices. My tuna appetizer was very good, as were the scallops. So as a non-meat eater at a steak house, I guess that was a positive!

The hostess was very organized and polite. The first thing that came to the table was Bread and butter. The bread should have been served fresh, The drinks selected were very good. The Food was to order except the au gratin potato's were like mashed potato with cheese on top. The coffee and deserts were great. All servers where great and it was nice to be thanked for coming in by Rey himself. All in all, we enjoyed our night out at Rey"s.

After reading raving reviews in local magazines, we decided to go there for a birthday. They are trying to be an upscale steakhouse but the decor seems dated and out of style. The waitstaff looked tired for an early Friday evening. The menu choices were good but surely overpriced. The food was delicious though but sub-par value for your money imo. Not better than Angus Barn or Capital Grill!! It was one and done, thank you!

My date night was great at Rey’s. I got calamari for an appetizer and the sautéed lobster for my entree. For dessert I got the bread pudding with whiskey sauce. Everything taste great. Our waitress Monique E. was very attentive to our needs. I would recommend Rey’s for dinner.

It was my first time (husband’s 2nd) it was everything he remembered it was 15+ years ago. He loves lamb and had been wanting it for months so we went for his birthday. He was over the moon with his food. My bone in ribeye was amazing, seasoned perfectly & cooked EXACTLY like I wanted!!! In my opinion Angus Barn has nothing on this little place!! We will be back!

The occasion was my son’s 21st birthday which he had requested dinner with Mom (me) at a nice restaurant as his birthday gift. I had heard great things about your restaurant so made the reservation anticipating a wonderful experience. The service (hostess, servers, management, etc), ambiance, food and hospitality were EXCELLENT‼️ I definitely plan to visit again especially for special occasions to create more wonderful memories!

We waited at least 20 minutes before our order was taken and that was only because we flagged down someone. Apparently the wait staff person assigned to our table was late (for which he apologized profusely when he got there) BUT THE BIGGER ISSUE to me was we had to bring attention to our plight ourselves versus your staff covering the issue.

Service is outstanding. Jonathan was nice and knowledgeable. However, the calamari was bland and both of our dinners were so so. I ordered the rib eye, medium, and my meat was flavorful but it was very hard to cut into. My wife had a similar experience with the tournedos. Also, this is a n elegant restaurant and the restaurant should have some dress policy. The table in front of us had some guy wearing shorts, t-shirt and a baseball hat. He didn’t even have the courtesy to take off the cap.
