Ring O' Bells
The addition of The Glasshouse, a contemporary new extension, gives an exciting dimension to the pub, creating a spectacular dining environment perfect for hosting any special event. In the warmer months its fully retractable doors create the ideal inside/outside space.
The restaurant has also been given a fresh new look creating a vibrant place to dine. For main meals, the new spring/summer menu includes wonderful seasonal dishes such as Orchiette Pasta with Fennel Sausage, Wild Broccoli & Shaved Scamorza and Roasted Rack of Lamb with Fondant Potato, alongside established favourites like hand-stretched stone-baked pizzas and Sunday roasts.
Alfresco drinking & dining is also well catered for – when weather permits.

Seemed disorganised, lots of staff but poor service. Pre booked and ended up in less well maintained bar area.
Food was very good and enjoyable, will return, but avoid buying wine due to high cost in my view compared to other restaurants we eat at.
Overall experience very good. Outdoor seating booths ideal for our party including 3 year old and baby. Food very good although children's meals a little pricey. Nice ambience and good safe play area. Would definitely return.
Excellent food and service. Would definitely recommend
Friendly staff, interesting menu (perhaps not to every taste), plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. 241 on pizza on Wednesday, and on burgers on Fridays. Good choice of beer and lager, prompt service and tasty food.
Fresh ingredients and freshly cooked, you won’t find any frozen recipes here. I had baked peach and Gorgonzola salad it was amazing- quality ingredients
We have eaten here several times and always had a very nice meal. The staff are friendly, efficient, and helpful, and the food is always hot, well-prepared, and delicious.
We love the overall ambiance of the restaurant and will be back for more!
Always amazing food - steak sandwich, delicious, and you cannot fault the roast dinners. Lovely restaurant, great staff and the kids love the play area too - winner! Always a family favourite for us.
Clean, friendly and good value. Food was cooked and presented well.
Food is good but the coffee is just awful, pretty much undrinkable. So enjoy a great meal and go home for coffee
Our Sunday lunch was really nice except for very very chewy beef. Service however was almost non-existent.
I had the fish and chips and my partner had the gammon both where delicious. The brioche bread and butter pudding was gorgeous.
Good venue achieved very enjoyable night. A little disappointed that Chicken supreme dish was not white sauce as tradition but a tomato sauce never known this before. Other than that a good evening experience was had by all.
I usually like to be supportive of small businesses but this meal was just average at best
Pizzas had an odd possibly cheap tomato sauce which made them difficult to enjoy , the taglatelli came with a tiny piece of chicken which was £6 extra making it over £16 and was not worth the money and the sauce was watery
The bar was piled up with dirty glasses which made it look really scruffy - felt it was pointless saying anything the person who took the money did not enquire if we had enjoyed the food so I think in general pubs need to start upping their game as the pandemic excuses and lack of staff etc are wearing thin - Sorry I could not recommend the Ring o bells at the moment
We ate early booked for 12 noon table and highchair already for us. The gentleman who took us to our table and our payment at the end of our meal was lovely and friendly. The waiting staff girls were very attentive. The menu had a great choice and although we just had a sandwich and wrap it was delicious. The side order of mac n cheese which we ordered for our grandson was yummy as he ate nearly all of it! And hubby loved the fries!
Friendly welcome and good service nothing too much trouble. Very diverse menu catering for all tastes, small and large meals. Not rushed so spent a pleasant couple of hours there.
Good service and food.... 2 for 1 on pizzas on a Wednesday too so an added bonus! We had a table in the tipi which was so lovely and a rustic feel. Menus were available on line using a QR scan but paper menus were also available if preferred. Car park was so busy so I had to park down the road but was just a short walk so not too bad.
Food was great with a good choice on the menu. Service was brilliant even for our dog!
Would recommend that ring o bells.
Good service, lovely food with a good gluten free menu. Staff were busy but attentive. Busy but not noisy. Atmosphere was lovely, conducive for chat, nice decor.
Outstanding service, incredible beer garden and the food portions were very generous. We'll be back soon.
Easy parking, food was excellent this was my first visit and l would highly recommend.
Stuck in a corner restaurant price pub service. Delays between courses and no personal service. Plenty of staff no excuse
Really lovely meal definitely one to add to our list of great pub meals with nice staff team
The food options were very limited for the price.
We’d asked for a table outside as we were bringing a dog along. We were seated under the tent canopy and asked about the 3 booths which were all free at the time of arrival. We were informed that they were booked out so were then seated within the tent area which was boiling. The table was sticky even after staff had cleaned it for us, and very wobbly with the uneven floor outside under the makeshift carpet.
We only ate mains as we were all too hot sat under the tent & when we left the 3 booths were still empty.
The staff who served us were brilliant and tried to accommodate all of our requested.
Excellent food and service as always and some lovely cocktails. The only down side I would suggest is that the wine list was a bit limited in terms of champagne
Great service despite being very busy the food was lovely as usual
Lovely burger was had. Delicious, moist & great value for money due to the 2 for 1 burger deal on a Friday.. Service was good & the pub is nice inside & out. The car park is a bit tight & busy but I would definitely return.
Burgers average, no great flavour. Rest of our meals were ok.
The food was nice and we had a lovely evening, however the price let it down. A little too expensive compared to when we have been in the past.
Amazing food!! Went for 2 pizzas and the garlic bread with a size of salt and pepper chips, was not expecting the size to be as big as it was!! The only reason we left some was the fact there was way too much for us to finish! Staff were so friendly and made the experience pleasant and enjoyable! Total value for money as well!! Would definitely reccomend Ring O Bells to anyone visiting the area!
Lovely staff, brilliant service, food was plentiful and tasty. Couldn't ask for more.
Unfortunately this was not the service, food quality and experience we had had recently. Two meals were replaced and the service (except manager) was very poor. We were seated in the teepe and it was very noisy.
A disappointing visit.
Lovely venue and very helpful, pleasant staff. The food was of decent quality, but not as good value as at the Cholmondeley Arms.
The online booking system is excellent, as it saves having to make a phone call and potentially frees up staff at the venue, which is a smart way of working.
Moderately good food, at overly high prices. This place was better before lockdown.
The roast potatoes were ROCK HARD! The waitress didn’t explain how we order etc. But the rest of meal was tasty. Plenty of meat on the roast dinner and we sat in the tipi which felt lovely.
Great attentive staff. Inventive menu and great ingredients
Booked a table for Sunday Lunch as it was my Mother's 85th Birthday, which was very good.
Portions too big for me Next next will offer child portion. And gravy on the side.
Really nice atmosphere staff are lovely and food was delicious
I love going to Ring o Bells, but this table might have been a bit close to the speakers for us. Especially when a long techno sounding background track came on.. it was a bit unusual!
