We ordered a salad and the fish special, and they brought the fish out before we had a chance to get halfway through the salad. Sat outside and it was extremely noisy, and the prices seem high, compared to other comparable restaurants. The service was terrific.

We went here for lunch it was so EXTREMELY loud. If you are on a date and want to hear the person sitting across the table or next to you, this is not the place. If you just want to listen to the back of the room, this is your place. The food was pretty good they could tell we were highly annoyed, so they gave us free ice cream it was very good, but leaving with a sensory overload wasn't worth it.

We were there to celebrate a friend's 60th birthday. I mentioned it when I called, but no one said a thing including the server. They got her order incorrect and she had to wait over 10 minutes for her lunch while the rest of us had lunch. I know it is a Sunday brunch but I was hoping for a special experience and it has lost that. Just a busy place to eat with fresh food.

One of our favorite places when in the city. Food and service are always excellent. This time we sat outside on the patio. Noise was loud but that can’t be helped, as it was street noise. Food and service was great.

Everything we ordered was a 9 or 10 out of 10! Server was attentive enough but wasn’t overly kind or memorable. Ambience was gorgeous—I want all the frames for my home. We would go back!

Last time we were there was before Covid. This experience was much better and back to their high standards. Brunch food was very salmon heavy, still a good variety. Available lunch choice as well. Everything had great flavor. Staff very attentive and accommodating. Would definitely recommend and go back again

Extremely chaotic seating experience with hosts clearly overwhelmed. Mains were average but desserts were excellent. Server forgot birthday and gave to table next to us. Seemed understaffed and overbooked. Aesthetic is gorgeous. Not quiet what we’d hoped for but not bad.

Always wonderful to dine in the lounge at RL. We were celebrating a birthday and we were seated right at the fireplace. Service was impeccable. Tyler, our server, was fantastic. Food was wonderful as ever. And we were never made to rush. Thank you as always. We come regularly and it’s always the best experience.

Tables are too crowded. Waiters work with very little space to move around and often bump into guests' chairs(i.e. my husband). It's really not their fault. Fried olives upon request take 40 minutes to prepare as per waiter and are $11.00 Seafood platter is underwhelming in size compared to Capital Grill or Flemings. My sister had her mashed potatoes arrive cold and the waiter asked if he could touch it with his finger. They brought a warm one back and after all that she was not comped the mash order. A little ridiculous....

It was wonderful! We love the atmosphere of the RL restaurant. It’s extremely sophisticated. We love our waiter, Angel. The sea bass and white perch were wonderful entrees. The spinach was tasty, very delightful. Drinks were delicious. We cannot say enough great things about this restaurant.

I live in Canada but have the good fortune to travel to Chicago. This is, by far, our favorite restaurant in the world. The decor is exquisite. I could just enjoy my surroundings and the music - not too loud and a great selection. I guess music like food is subjective but you certainly have a fan in us. Sunday night, September 17 we went early. The hostess was so accommodating. There was a staff change but all waiters were swell and attentive. We had the Dover Sole and superb. All around it confirmed why we like RL. I can recommend without equivocation.
