   We booked a fire pit and were told it wasn’t available. Then we asked multiple times to sit since they were open but we’re declined. On the last attempt they said it would be more convenient to eat at the table and they could move our drinks to the fire pit. Unfortunately, they couldn’t make that happen either. Our waitress was amazing but we were disappointed that we didn’t get what we booked.

    The staff couldn't have been any friendlier from the moment I walked through the door to the end of the evening. The food selection was diverse with amazing flavors. My only disappointment was the price of the alcohol which I thought was excessive.

    I have had better meals at less expensive restaurants. The grilled chicken meal was so terrible I could only eat the chicken, and even that was intolerable. I don't know what they put in the rice, but it made the unseasoned rice worse. We also ordered the cheeseburgers and it felt like I was eating my grandmother's ashes. It was so bitter and charred that I was surprised it wasn't burnt on the inside. Even the sauce didn't help the taste. Now for the chicken and waffles, I have so many questions. How do you mess up chicken? There was BARELY a waffle. The mushroom pasta was horrendous. It was so watery I confused it for soup. The only redeeming quality of this restaurant was its elevator. Also, some of the deserts. You have to choose the right one.

    Went to Providence G Rooftop for my college graduation dinner and it was phenomenal! Was scared that it was going to be too cold, but it’s enclosed like a greenhouse with a retractable roof so it was the PERFECT temperature. It was the most beautiful restaurant I have ever seen and my family and I couldn’t stop talking about coming back when the weather gets warmer. Our server Ashley was probably the best part of the experience as she was incredibly friendly, funny, and efficient throughout the entire meal. I extremely recommend trying out the Rooftop at Pub G!

    I came here to celebrate my anniversary and it was not what I was expecting. It took an hour to get our food, we weren't check on to see how the service was, and it took half an hour to even get our check to leave. Even when talking about my experience with the hostess there was barely any empathy given.

    we were celebrating a friends birthday, so we were enjoying ourselves and having a rare night out with some friends who are parents. we waited over an hour for appetizers, the waitress was extremely nice and apologetic and we recognized this was not in her control. however, to not have a manager stop by to merely offer dessert, comp the apps or simply apologize for how 2 flatbreads and shrimp appetizer took an hour was some of the worst customer service i have ever experienced. i have been in the restaurant industry for over 10 years and hardly ever writer reviews but felt it justified. very disappointed. we did not want to ruin our night and make a scene and kept our spirits high while wishing we’d had a granola bar or chips in our purses.

    We waited for over an hour for the waiter to bring the food. I understand it was busy but we had reservations and we shouldn’t have to wait so long. The food was good but not hot. It was room temperature. The waitress was very nice and she kept apologizing for the long wait.

    Very upset. We ordered a bottle of wine and the waitress removed the bottle from our table with wine still left in it and threw it in the trash. The waitress then proceeded to come back over a short time later and asked us if we wanted more wine. Was extremely disappointed and outraged. Got the bill and left.

    I had requested flowers and candles for my wife and I’s anniversary dinner, but neither was at my table. The service was decent, but everything felt rushed. I was not particularly fond of the drinking menu and there were limited food choices.

    First off sitting on the rooftop with the fire pits are just simply wicked romantic! Highly suggest for a date night. Our food was pretty well prepared, pork chop cooked to perfection and still juicy! I think the most satisfying aspect of our dinner there was our server named Maddie! She was down to earth, a fantastic human being!

    We absolutely loved our experience at Rooftop at Providence G. From the wonderful and knowledgeable hostess, Rebecca, to our helpful, kind and caring waitstaff person, June, the evening was definitely a success. Our Autumn salads of baby greens, cranberries, roasted squash, beets, candied pecans, and herb goat cheese were scrumptious. The roasted chicken entree was served on wild rice, with aleppo-honey glazed carrots, in a Medeira jus. We couldn't resist adding another vegetable we found in the appetizer section of the menu,, the crispy Brussels Sprouts, which were enough for four individuals - so tasty with surprises of charred raddichio, caramelized onions, house mustard, and toasted hazelnuts. Such a delicious meal and a very positive evening of dining.

    I was disappointed. We traveled down from Boston for a show at PPAC. The rooftop and view were beautiful. They definitely seemed understaffed which I know is a widespread issue. We had several people ask to take our drink orders even after already given, drinks took over 10 minutes even though it was very early and 2/3 empty. We waited another 10 for someone to notice we wanted to order food. The manager ended up taking our food over. It took almost 45 minutes to come out. We had to ask for the check when we got the food to make sure we got to the show in time. Food was not hot, wrong protein on my pasta (which they did fix!). Everyone was very nice. But for a not cheap place I was disappointed. I may go back for a drink but not for food.

    Wonderful views, especially at sunset. Cant beat the ambiance. Tons of natural light in the enclosed dining area when dining during the day. The outdoor area with the firepits is super cool and great for having drinks with friends. The staff was was very friendly and attentive. The food was unfortunately the weak point. It wasn't bad per se, just not especially good. Given the beautiful venue and prime location in downtown, I couldn't help but feel it wasn't up to par. Especially given all the amazing restaurants in the area at a similar price point.

    My boyfriend and I went to this place for his birthday. And we’re definitely not going back. First, we waited for the 1:45 minutes. The waitress came so many times to say “Your order it’s coming soon” for 1:45. The manager after one hour came to acknowledge the situation and said to us that she would gave us a discount. And after we finished the waitress came with the bill and there was no discount. It was a very awful experience. And really really bad service.
