We invite you to join us at Roy's Anaheim located in Southern California's sunny Orange County, right inside the Anaheim Garden Walk.
You can NEVER go wrong with dinner here! The piece de resistance is of course the chocolate soufflé, aka Chocolate lava cake!
food and service was great!!
Food was delayed about 45 minutes and when i got my filet mignon steak it tasted smoked like if it was sitting on the grill for a while before they served it.
Got a lunch special. Good short ribs but the mahi mahi was not great. The presentation was a little sloppy but the cookie dessert was good.
We never tire of visiting Roys of Anaheim. It is always a wonderful experience with amazing food and service. We went for Valentine’s Day, there was an issue in the kitchen which delayed the timely serving of the main entree and they couldn’t have been more apologetic and bought us an extra round of drinks. Class act, nothing new though. I highly recommend this restaurant.
My wife and I had valentines dinner reservations. Great experience. We were seated in less than 3 minutes and our server had a great fun personality!! We will definitely return.
The set menu for Valentine’s Day was unimpressive... nothing tasted fresh.
Our server was very nice and attentive
Perfect Valentine's day venue. The special menu included my favorite butterfish and the food and service were outstanding.
Our server Jason or something with J was superb. Always attentive to us as well as everyone else. The Caesar salad was not too great as it was big and not convenient to eat. Other than that we will definitely be going again.
Food was excellent as always. A little disappointed that they had a restricted menu due to higher than normal convention attendees in Anaheim this weekend.
Amy the server was amazing. She did a great job of handling things when things didn’t come out just right. Food is always superb.
My group previously visited Roy’s but we were too early for the dinner menu. Lunch was superb so we were anxious to return for dinner. We reserved online and invited another guest. One of us arrived early and ordered appetizers. When we were ready for dinner we were told if the very limited prefixed menu because of a convention. Why wouldn’t we be informed before being seated. I wanted the full experience. I would have rescheduled. I understand the importance of the convention but I wanted to become a loyal patron. I would have scored my review lower, but the meal was delicious. I still want to experience the full menu.
I have been going to Roy’s for years. This was the first time I was very disappointed. The service (Barbie) was great, but my entree arrived cold. She took it back and had it heated. When the food returned ( after others in my party we’re close to finished) the plate was hot but the food was still cold. When I informed of the situation she said she would let the manager know. Additionally the chocolate soufflé was not hot, it was lukewarm. Sub par in my opinion. When the manager came to our table, she made excuses. I told her that in addition to the food being cold the chocolate soufflé was not up to Roy’s standard. She said they were really busy and made excuses. Busy or not, a restaurant builds it reputation on the food and service. She even made excuses for the parking situation. It was not an enjoyable evening. I had my dinner boxed so I could take it home and put it in the microwave. There were no apologies made, except for our server. Needless to say, I will have to think long and hard as to whether or not I will return.
One of our favorites in Anaheim. We visit every time we're in the area.
Excellent food and service.
I ordered Tofu Teriyaki on the lunch menu. What was given to me were two small pieces of tofu with no sauce and were cold as well. The rice was Luke warm as was the miso soup. I requested another order and only tofu was brought out (much better). I would not recommend this restaurant.
Food and service were outstanding! We will definitely be returning.
Way too hard to get to . My husband has a hard time walking so I called re; Valet and was told they opened on 4:30 on Saturday. When we got there , Valet was closed. Parking Garage very busy so we parked in P1. Signs said Roy's straight ahead which turned out to be the opposite way so we had to walk all the way around. Food was ok - not what I would expect for the price. No rolls - etc. For three of us we spent about $250 including drinks and an appetizer. Probably a good restaurant for tourists - but not for locals.
If you have not tried Roy's yet, do so. You will not be disappointed. The staff is excellent, and will cater to your every need. The food speaks for itself. It is always fresh, and served hot. If you normally do not order dessert, make an exception and try one of Roy's handcrafted delights. Be sure to order the chocolate souffle when your place your main order, because it is made from scratch. I just wish that there were more Roy's locations. Bon appetit!
My wife and I like to pass on our heartfelt compliments to Roy’s of Anaheim employees, for the excellent service provided us. We had a wonderful experience and have already been sharing it with friends and family.
Outstanding food and value. New Singaporean menu outstanding.
The butterfish was extremely salty, and the sauce that came with it was equally salty. No one around to refill water. The waiter was never around for us to complain about the salty fish. I was hungry so I ate the veggies and the rice, and drank my water and my date’s water to combat the saltiness. When we asked for the check, it took our waiter almost 15 min to give us the check.
The Anaheim location’s food and service was subpar compared to the Newport Beach location, which is now permanently closed. I used to like Roy’s but not planning to come back.
We've had several excellent dinners at Roy's, and this was no different. Excellent food and service once again. We had Drunken Mules for a cocktails, and then enjoyed with an appetizer platter, shared a Maui Wowee salad (easily enough for two), and then had delicious entrees. I had the special Chilean Sea Bass. For dessert, the lime tart. Be sure to get your parking ticket validated when you pay the bill.
Went there in advance of a Ducks hockey game. A very convenient location with good parking, a great selection of entrees to choose from and excellent service
Great food but slow service
Service was excellent. Dinner was very good . Went here to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The staff was wonderful.
Both kids and adults enjoyed the food. Waitresses were also very attentive and friendly.
Soooo we were in town for one night and loved Roy’s when it was in Las Vegas. We thought we’d visit it while in Anaheim. What we lived about the food in Vegas just did NOT measure up in Anaheim.
The appetizer, chicken spring rolls, were actually delicious! This had us anticipating our entrees. This is where the HUGE disappointment comes in. I ordered the Roasted Shoyu Half Chicken. It was completely OVER cooked. The mushrooms were burnt! My husband had their new Sea Bass dish. The menu picture of the sea bass looked fantastic. What was served, not so much. Also, it was lukewarm. We also ordered the Truffle Bacon Mac & Cheese. This was decent but didn’t WOW.
We usually order dessert but just decided against it as we did NOT enjoy our entrees.
Based on this experience, we will not visit again when in town.
Amazing food and customer service. I are here five years ago. The only thing that has changed is the daily special. All seriousness it is amazing.
Sexy AWESOME! Sexy Food. Sexy Staff. Sexy Location. Traci SO FLOSSY! Party 24/7/365. THANK YOU!
This was our first visit. The manager greeted us and came to our table several times. Service was great. Had Sea Bass special and parts of it were fishy other parts tasted amazing. My husband had Mahi Mahi and he said it didn't have a lot of taste but the sauce was good. Also appetizers were good. Want to go back and have appetizers and dessert.
Outstanding Mahalo Monday deal! Excellent food and service as always! We'll be back!
Fish was perfectly cooked. Great meal!
We go to Roy's for every special occasion. We love it!!!
I ordinarily love Roy’s but this time I was disappointed because they only served a limited NAMM menu so I couldn’t get what I really wanted. Also the food was ok compared to previous visits when the food was absolutely fantastic. The lobster bisque had slightly too much coconut milk in it and the chocolate soufflé was almost dry in the middle.
This is our second visit and we really enjoyed it! The only blight on the evening was not the fault of the staff. The marketing dept at the corporate level advertised a menu that was not available. We were very disappointed because the entire evening was about that particular menu. However, after we got past it the service and the food was excellent! We will be going back...soon.
Lunch was a very nice experience even with a large convention in town. Good food and excellent company.
Boring food, overpriced. "Butter Fish", the house specialty, drowning in cheap Thai-style sweet and sour sauce.
I was there with two suppliers from Japan. I waited a little too long to make reservations, they were hoping for a proper steakhouse (Morton's) but I knew Roy's was really good. I wasn't disappointed. I was a little confused by a sudden change in wait staff as we began to order, but what happened was they changed our server to one who was fluent in Japanese! How awesome for my guests, right? The cocktail and wine were top nitch. The steak...spectacular. Everyone devoured everything. The fresh from the oven desserts were fabulous as well. We agreed that every Saturday night at NAMM we will return to Roy's for what we know will be amazing food and service.
The food was cold. Not good value for the quality of food served
