This is one nicest Ruth Chris I have been too. Just a bit too dark. Otherwise everything was fabulous.
It's never a bad experience at Ruth Chris. Yes, you pay for the ambiance in addition to the food but both are great. Our server, Sweet T, was wonderful.
Our server Suzanne and the rest of the staff were wonderful.
Expensive, but well worth it. Rib eyes and Filets were excellent and the brown bread was to die for. Unfortunately, the manufacturer, Eurobake, will only sell to restaurants or distributors.
I think that Ruth’s Chris is ok. My husband and I were celebrating his birthday. Our server was very pleasant and took adequate care of us. Both my husband and I ordered from the 3 course dinner menu. We each had a salad to start. He had a Caesar salad and I had their garden salad. Both were very good. The lettuce was fresh and the dressings tasted homemade. I got the avocado ranch dressing on the side and it was tasty. My husband enjoyed his Caesar. For our entrees we chose the rib eye steak. It was well seasoned and tender. It may be that we have learned that we are not rib eye lovers. It just didn’t seem a rich cut. We have had excellent steaks in other steak houses and this didn’t really wholly measure up. I don’t think we will rush back but I wouldn’t say that we would never go again either. I prefer Capital Grill.
We had a great experience. Winston was a knowledgeable, thoughtful and prompt waiter.
Very solid dining experience. Service was excellent. Food was delicious. We had the rib eye, filet mignon, and lamb chops. And as sides we had the roasted corn, mashed potatoes, and sautéed spinach. Everything was great. I’d come back anytime.
Ruth's Chris was perfect, as usual. Atmosphere, service, and food. Not cheap, but worth it. Consistently consistent.
Rachel is a great server. She was attentive, patient and informative. I am not a first time patron and it will definitely not be my last
The service was extremely slow. It took 30 minutes to figure out the check.
Joe was our Server and was excellent. Food was delicious as always. Loved the touch of rose petals at our table for our Anniversary.
We just got married and they made the table nice for us and congratulated us as well. The food and service was excellent. Only downside is I asked to be away from kids and there was a party with a baby(noisy) lol placed right in front of us, literally
The waiter seemed inexperienced.
We were pouring our own water ( ordered sparkling water), needing to move hot plates . No pepper was offered. Did not go over specials. Did not offer dessert ( not a deal breaker ). I finished eating before my daughter, they removed my plates.
The service this time around was really subpar. If I just wanted a steak - and not a steak and experience - I could have gotten it at a different place. Too bad, this used to be one of the upscale places I liked going. Not in the nearest future. Very disappointed.
Our server, Jeff, was excellent!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Terrific dinner last night. Enjoyed the ruths classic menu. Server was great.
I've been to several high-end steak houses in the Baltimore/Washington area and the food and service at Ruth's Chris continue to stand out in excellence. It is one of my favorite restaurants.
Jeff was an excellent waiter! I reserved my reservation online and I called just to make sure the reservation was made. The manager was pleasant and professional. I was sad that my former waiter, Henry, was no longer there but I did ask for someone comparable to Henry. And he gave me Jeff and he was outstanding.
My husband thought his 11 oz filet was dry. My 6 oz was fine. We can cook steak just as well if not better at home and grass fed which I prefer. The brussell sprouts were like bullets. The augratin potatoes were tasty and the spinach not their ususal tasty but okay. The lobster bisque was thin. I assume this is because it was Father's Day and the place was very busy. I guess the kitchen was overwhelmed. We had a nice server but he disappeared a few times for long stretches and I wonder why this happens when you are trying to pay the bill and free up the table. I think we have gotten used to eating at home and perfecting sauces and flavors we enjoy and I find eating out to be lacking these days. It is fabulous not to make the effort and be served and enjoy the experience I just wish the food for these prices was as delicious as it is at home.
Coming into Ruth’s Chris I have a natural expectation that I would have a world class experience. However, I have been highly disappointed by this one. The service started out with lackluster service with a heaping mile of day old stale bread that was pitiful at best. The menu was lacking options that I’m familiar with at other locations. Due to dietary restrictions,my guest had a hard time choosing something that they could enjoy. Overall, this is by far the worst restaurant in the franchise.
Fantastic meal and our server, Whitney, was awesome. Always a great place to eat.
Service was great as well as the food!
Had reservations and got seated immediately! Server recommended wine that was outstanding.
Food and Drinks were great! The lobster bisque recipe has changed slightly but it was actually better. The server was pretty good although I really miss Winston. However, the restaurant seems to be changing. The clients and customers who I am used to dining around were not the people present on Friday evening. Some improperly dressed, others looking like they have never dined in a finer dining establishment. I have always taken pleasure in stating that dining at the Pikesville location gives a relaxed fine dining experience. Friday’s experience was less than the level I expected.
Our waiter didn’t take all of our drink orders together. We waited quite a while for our drinks to come, those of us who were able to order them. After our drinks came the other two people at our table got his attention and ordered their drinks. By that time it we it was past 630 and we were worried about getting our order in by 6:30 for the bar menu but he assured us it would be fine. It just took forever. Until he took our order got it in and we got our food it was almost 2 hours. We sat there for three hours! it was ridiculous. He was such a nice guy and the food was delicious but the waiting was crazy. Coffee had so many grinds in it we couldn’t drink it!
First, I have to say our server, Sweet T, was STUPENDOUS!! Her attitude, personality and exceedingly high level of service made our anniversary celebration even more enjoyable and I look forward to coming there again for another delectable meal, wonderful atmosphere and terrific service from Sweet T!!!
We hadn't been to Ruth's Chris since the pandemic began and our meal exceeded expectations. Filet was cooked perfectly, lobster was perfect! Service was excellent!
Our waiter Joe was phenomenal!!!!!!!!
Most definitely will be back, everything was perfect
We love it there. Everytime the service and food is A1
Steak and dessert were delicious as always. Disappointed with the Caesar salad. It was very "wet", which is not the norm.
Open Table makes reservations simple, it actually has us eating out more and at a variety of restaurants. Ruth’s Chris Filet is hands down the best tasting filet out there. One thing you can count on at Ruth’s Chris Pikesville is consistency. From the Valet to the Hostess to the Waiter and Servers the service is top notch. Our Waiter(Jeff) is always impressive, we frequent this establishment for the consistently great food and huge wine list and the top notch service. The Food/Wine Events are a great bargain and also done in a top notch fashion. Get to Ruth’s Chris Pikesville and ask for Jeff(waiter) you won’t be disappointed. He takes service to another level and the food is spectacular.
Took my kids, affordable menu for them. Great as usual
Great ambience. The whole management staff was great
Great service great staff and prompt service. will definitely return
We loved our waiter, and loved the good. However checking in was very disorganized and displeasing. For some reason, this location always has management problems. I will probably visit other locations before returning here.
Ruth Chris is my go to restaurant for any occasion. It’s my favorite.
Trenton was a wonderful server. Great service is so hard to find!
Was great! Thanks!! The high school graduate recognition was wonderful!
Nice decor, steak perfect but shrimp overcooked. Mashed potatoes excessively creamy (too watered down) and minimally garlic flavored. Broccoli good. Cheesecake desserts fabulous. Scallops appetizer perfect!
Gumbo delicious and would like description on menu. Nice that calories are on the menu. Would like to see prices on the online menu. Bread tasty.
