I always enjoy a night out at Ruth Chris. Food was delicious as always. Best steaks of any place I know. Service was a little slow but we were enjoying time out with friends anyway so we did not mind. This is definitely my go to steakhouse.

Overall great experience!!! There was a party in a private room across from my table that was pretty loud, but it was obvious they were celebrating someone for something. Just wish the staff could have shut the door to that room that they obviously kept open.

The food was delicious. We went to Celebrate Charlotte’s Restaurant week. The stuffed chicken was delicious, melted in my mouth and seasoned to perfection. The service was the best I have had lately. Anastasia was great, she was very attentive without being bothersome. I made another reservation, and I am requesting her as my server.

Clayton was an amazing server in all aspects. We will be sure to ask for him next time. Unfortunately, someone in the new management forgot to update the liquor license so the restaurant had to stop serving mid-meal and move all of their alcohol to a storage area.

We had a 5:15 reservation and were seated quickly but our wait person did not come to our table. Finally, after about 20 minutes a hostess came by and apologized that we had been seated in an area where the wait person was not on duty yet. She comped us an appetizer and 2 cocktails. Our waitress finally arrived yet the service never did speed up. It took forever to get each entree and we did not finish until 8pm! Thank goodness we didn't have anywhere we needed to be after our dinner. Most of our entrees were delicious: spicy shrimp appetizer, fresh bread, barbecue shrimp entree, creamed spinach side, steamed broccoli, white chocolate bread pudding. The only underwhelming entree (surprisingly!) was my husband's 8 ounce filet. It did come out sizzling hot but was rather bland in taste. My husband asked for decaf coffee with his dessert and after he was still awake at 2am, he was pretty sure the waitress had given him caffeinated coffee. Overall, the food was decent but service left much to be desired. The dining room was also quite loud and boisterous.

We felt this dinner was not up to the standards of a Ruth Chris. Food was excellent so no problem there. Our issue was with my wife’s martini. One they no longer bring shaker to table so not as cold. Her glass was chipped so we returned it. They gave her a second which was also chipped. Finally they gave it to her in a Rocks glass not chilled and said “we are out of clean Martini glasses”. So drink was warm as it was poured from one to another without re-chilling. We should of not accepted which was our fault. Also some of staff focused on one important customer which made it more busy in our area. We will try the South Park location to see if it is better

My wife misplaced her glove on arrival, and the host was so kind to assist her in looking for it. He also made sure we had a nice quiet booth per our reservation request. Our waitress was also very sweet, calling my wife "gorgeous" and making sure our every need was met. The kitchen did a beautiful job of splitting both our chop salad and an 11 oz filet with barbequed shrimp accompaniment for a nice presentation at the table. We were a little disappointed in the shrimp which we felt had not enough if any bbq spices, and with the lyonnaise potatoes which we expected to be creamy rather than pan fried (and fairly dry). Everything was served to the appropriate temperature and we finished it all, so that we were too full to have dessert. We were surprised, given it was our wedding anniversary and we had included this information on our reservation request, that there was no mention of this. The manager (we assume, though we don't recall her introducing herself) checked on us at the end of the meal and took our valet ticket so we would not have to wait for our car upon leaving. Very nice service!

We went for my husband’s birthday. We usually go on Christmas Eve but last year we had a bad experience and we decided to wait until after the holidays. This is the 2nd time we have had problems with the steaks not being cooked correctly. My husband ordered Med well and it came out with a bloody center all 3 times. My daughter ordered med and hers was Well but edible. The mgmt attention was on spot and they tried to make things right but the server waited too long to address issue and the timing of his meal was way off, he ended up bringing it home and said it was still undercooked. The manager did comp his steak and we were appreciative because last year they barely acknowledged our issues, ie. our mashed potatoes came out frozen, steak’s undercooked. The front of house staff is very well trained and always a pleasure but there seems to be some ongoing issues in the kitchen.

We are big fans of the Ruth’s Classic. I feel that portion size has decreased and price has gone up recently. We’ve been to many different locations around the country and consistency with the creamed spinach is definitely off. The steak here was perfection! Anastasia was our waitress and she did a great job! I was impressed with how all of the service staff helped throughout the entire meal.
