About the restaurant
The Story of Josephine’s
The story of Josephine’s begins during our executive chef Daniel LeBoon’s childhood. At eight years old, working for his father’s catering company, Daniel discovered a passion for food. This love — and undeniable talent — saw him intern at Philadelphia’s prestigious Le Bec-Fin. He went on to work in Paris at the venerable Hotel Vernet working under the renowned chef’s Alain Solvere and Alain Ducasse. In 2004, Daniel purchased Josephine’s in Marietta and developed an extremely loyal following based on the combination of great food, great atmosphere and great hospitality. Although Josephine’s closed in 2011, the name and the experiences are fondly remembered by countless people.

Great restaurant close to Lititz. Food is amazing, I order the whole branzino which is prepared table side so awesome to watch and the fish is amazing. My two guests enjoyed their meals. Service is top notch. Great wine list. Place was very busy but our reservation was honored right on time. Nice to not have to go into Lancaster to get a top notch restaurant!

Overall it was a good experience. Our party was a bit caught off guard with the recent change to Tapas menu only - we had hoped for a few items on their online menu that we no longer available. The food was good overall and the wait staff were great. Drink menu and beer selection were good and had something for everyone. Overall a good night out.

About the restaurant
Kole was built on a simple idea: great beef and hospitality that feels like home.

Our name comes from the Pennsylvania Dutch word for “coal,” a nod to the region’s heritage, and to the fire behind everything we do.

We’re not a white tablecloth steakhouse. Just a neighborhood chophouse that feels easy to walk into.

We take pride in our beef program. Salt and pepper only on our chops. That’s it. We let the beef speak when it comes off the Josper grill, the heartbeat of the kitchen. Wood charcoal. Open flame.

Good beef. Good fire. Good people. A place to relax, to celebrate, to come back to.

About the restaurant
In Italian, cavolo means “cabbage,” but it’s also slang for “What the heck!” or “Holy smokes!”—exactly the reaction we’re going for when you walk through the door or take that first bite.

Our menu features small plates and wood-fired pizzas made with top-quality ingredients. No strict styles. No regional pizza debates. Just straight-up delicious. Crafted with Italian flour and a 48-hour fermentation, our dough is made with care from start to finish.

Our bar and bottle shop is stocked with a curated lineup of Italian wines, beers, and cocktails — all chosen to complement every plate and pie.
