A truly special meal. The flavors were complex, balanced, and beautifully textured, and the presentation was spot on. Service was attentive and well intentioned, though at times it felt a little overdone. There is a fine balance between being highly accommodating and allowing the experience to unfold naturally. Overall, the care was clear, even if the execution occasionally became a bit too present.

About the restaurant
CHO is a vibe-forward FUNKY ASIAN BISTRO by MO Alkassar. It's a culinary journey through Asia showcasing some of the best dishes from countries such as Thailand, Vietnam, China, and Korea. The menu balances between authentic classics and edgier reinterpretations of Asia's flavors. The cocktail program, created with Unfiltered Hospitality, is designed to spark curiosity and keep things interesting from the first sip to the last round. And then there’s our monkey mascot. Playful, a little mischievous, and exactly the kind of energy you’ll feel the moment you walk in. CHO leans into the edginess of South Beach. It’s moody, a little sexy, always upbeat. This is where quality ingredients go out to have fun!

MiMo / Upper East Side
About the restaurant
Phuc Yea offers a selection of shareable plates that capture the soulfulness and passion behind family-rooted recipes, the restaurant is inspired by Aniece Meinhold's Vietnamese heritage and Cesar Zapata's Third Coast culinary roots. Under one roof, guests are invited to marvel at Biscayne's blossoming Mimo District; embrace 90's hip-hop, street-cool music; and enjoy Cesar's version of Viet- Cajun cuisine - a lively mash up of fresh and colorful Vietnamese ingredients pumped up with spicy, bold Cajun flavors. This grown up version of Phuc Yea is largely seafood driven.

Brunch features a dim sum style menu that highlights classic American brunch preparations. It is at brunch, Chef Zapata will feature his Gulf and Southern influences more prominently while still integrating Vietnamese breakfast tradition.

We usually don’t venture too far from north Miami, but this was worth it. Cute spot, nice ambiance, great Miami Spice menu. The chicarrones were a highlight, as was the hamachi. Also loved the chocolate tart and plantain cake. Would definitely come back!

My husband decided last minute to go to the restaurant, and we were able to get a table by using this app. This restaurant was in our list to go. The service was very good; the service was excellent. Always someone asking how everything was. We will be back sometime soon.
