Myron's Prime Steak House is located in the old Palace Movie Theatre in historic downtown New Braunfels. We are open nightly, giving top billing to Chicago prime beef, the top 2% of all prime beef in the United States. A full bar as well as an extensive wine list featuring wines by the glass and by the bottle are available. Owner Bill Been, known to most for his 33 years of restaurant experience in San Antonio, has created a casual but elegant dining experience and invites you to come to Myron's, and enjoy!

Myron’s Prime Steak House is a very special place to spend an intimate, romantic evening. Last night our server Austin, was courteous, attentive and delivered great service. His wine suggestion was great and he made sure our special evening even more special. If you want a dining experience that includes great steaks, amazing sides and a great dessert then Myron’s in New Braunfels should be your first choice.

Open for lunch and dinner, we are the perfect destination for a romantic dinner, birthday celebration, private party, lunch with friends, or just a casual night out.

The Gruene Door never fails to deliver great food and service. The appetizers (Brussels sprouts) are amazing. Our party of 6 were pleased with their meals, which ranged from chicken to fish to the rib eye. The portions are generous enough that 4 of us took home to go containers. The Crème Brûlée and the pumpkin bread pudding were both outstanding. The service was great. Our waiter timed everything beautifully for a great dining experience. This restaurant is truly a gem in New Braunfels.

The experience was outstanding. The food was super. Tried food that was different to me and it was nice to try. The server was very helpful and patient with us as we just wanted to enjoy the experience. She didn’t hover and we appreciated that. She had good suggestions for food and knew what each dish would entail. They were attentive to my wife’s allergies and the kitchen manager came out to ensure that everything was good. The food was great and that doesn’t really do it credit. The flavors were so much better than I was expecting. Would love to come try it again. Thank you you to the staff for making it a great evening for my wife and me.

We very much enjoyed our dinner at Gonzales Bistro. My martini was perfectly balanced. The Brie appetizer was delicious, I highly recommend it. There was a problem with my entree but it was corrected immediately. Mistakes happen, we’re human. But our waiter, the hostess, and the chef made sure everything was perfect. After dinner we had coffee and shared a dessert, this chef makes great desserts! It was a lovely evening and we will definitely go back.

The restaurant is gorgeous. Service impeccable. Food delicious. We were celebrating our anniversary. They gave us a free sundae dessert. Which was fantastic. We chose the miso, Carmel, pretzel. I let the miso put me off but I was WRONG, it was delicious. The Caesar salad was big enough for 2. One of the best, if not the best we ever had. My husband had bolognese, which he loved and I had the steak frites. Tender and delicious.
