Serving by our motto, Shinsen (Fresh), a large selection of ingredients that we use are certified organic as we focus on seasonal tastes to leave your palate with an indelible impression. We are proud to say that our Aussie beef come from 100% Organic Fortitude Valley Farm, and our free-range chicken does not have any harmful hormone. We are very meticulous about using only the best of ingredients, even with condiments, such as gluten-free soy sauce and organic miso.

What a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home. Every dish we ordered exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back.

Love coming to MOD Dining - always a great experience. It was a quiet night for a Wednesday night opening but i presume the rain kept people cuddled up at home. Not so the staff at MOD. Professional yet personable - and they know their menu. And speaking of..the new menu is amazing - I started with a specially made (not on the menu) whiskey sour..as good as you'd get it in downtown San Fransisco The food flavours are sublime. The Kerala Fish Curry..wow... big intense Indian background flavours that never overpower the beautiful well cooked fish. And to finish - the Whisky chocolate trifle..ohhh yes. I'd be back for more soon

Had a great experience at Crafted by Matt Moran. The service was the real standout – friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling over the top. The team made us feel looked after from start to finish. The food was delicious, and the views over the harbour were beautiful, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. Would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great hospitality in a stunning setting.

The food was fantastic.We got the chef's tasting menu, and I was so glad we did as we got to try so many different dishes. My stand out was the Chorizo - the meat was absolutely amazing, and the creme brulee dessert. The service was also outstanding - attentive without being over-bearing, and small touches like the free dessert as it was a birthday celebration, or giving us the menu so we could see what we were eating. The decor was also moody & fabulous, and I loved the band. Definitely the best Mexican I've eaten in Sydney. It was better than much of the food I ate while travelling around Mexico.

The name “Ichoume” comes from the address of this street. Ichoume is located on ‘1’ Harbour Street, Darling Quarter. That’s why we named the restaurant “Ichoume” (Choume is used for addresses in Japan. It's a way of breaking a municipality into districts. 丁目(Choume) is ‘city district’, so ‘1 choume’(Ichoume) is ‘1st [city] district’).

The design concept of the restaurant is a hangout for adults.

The menu is supervised by AKIKO ISHIKAWA, who has accumulated her career in many restaurants. The head chef is TOMOHIKO KIMURA . He specialises in Japanese - based cuisine with French techniques and flavours. SHINSUKE TODA is recognised among the best sushi chefs now working and is credited with techniques utilised in contemporary sushi and sashimi preparation.
