The year was 1943, and Jim and Alice Wimmer decided to take a big risk, buying a small existing roadside restaurant known for its char-broiled steaks. How fitting that in 2018, the restaurant's 75th anniversary year, the third generation of Wimmers, Amy Wimmer, takes the helm from her father Jeff and his wife Jane, bringing her own adventurous spirit to the Del-Bar, the same kind of spirit she so admired in her grandparents. We simply loved this place. The ambience was old world and fantastic. The food was wonderful as well as the drinks. Above all else, the attention to detail and the service were top-notch. I wish we lived closer to be able to visit all of the time!l

The velvet buffalo is a fantastic place to have a fine dinner. The food was so good, the portions are large. I had the short rib and saffron risotto it was fantastic, my wife had the basil chicken. Definitely will be back.

The waitress (from Moscow) was great -- she loved working there and loved the food, and you couldn't help getting caught up in her enthusiasm! We tried the food items she tailored to our tastes, and the cuisine was fabulous. Cudo's to her, the Manager and the several excellent Chefs.

Very prompt service, food was excellent. We had Marsala sirloin tips and 7 Oz steak with baked potatoes. We had salad and broccoli cheese soup and ended with a surprise anniversary brownie icecream/ whip cream dessert, which was amazing!!!! Thanks to all the staff and the waitress for making our 10th Anniversary just perfect.

Without a doubt, the best supper club I’ve ever been to. We got the warblers walleye which was so deliciously delicate. We also got the filet with the au poirve sauce. 10/10 can’t wait to eat there again.

Absolutely fantastic experience! The food was incredible, and the ribs were some of the best we’ve ever had! Perfectly cooked, tender, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Everything we ordered was outstanding, but what really took the experience to another level was our server, Miguel. He absolutely knocked it out of the park! Friendly, attentive, personable, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. It’s rare to find service this good, and Miguel deserves some serious recognition! Between the amazing food and exceptional service, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ll definitely be back!
