Baekjeong literally means butcher in Korean which is a name we hold proud of.
We proudly serve only the finest cuts of Premium Alberta Sterling Silver meat which prepared by 15 years experienced butcher. Every table features a built-in grill (use gas) to allow you to dine at your own table.

All meat orders are accompanied by bottomless Korean style salads and vegetables. Combo meals have a choice of either soybean paste soup, kimchi stew, steamed eggs, soft-tofu soup or corn cheese.
Our relaxing atmosphere and juicy dishes make Baekjeong a perfect place to hold all kinds of parties and gatherings. Please reserve a spot a head of time for parties of eight or more.

We have been to this Chop location many times. This last time was extra special. Lana looked after us. Not only did she look after our food she was also the bartender. She offered us options to our drinks we had never been offered before. I can say the way she made our drinks particularly my Old Fashioned was amazing. Lana took the time to talk to us explain about the food and the drinks. She is extremely knowledgeable. The service was impeccable. If Chop had all employees like Lana it would be an A plus plus establishment. Lana was kind, respectful and just so pleasant. We hope the next time we visit that Lana will be there. We hope management sees this review to pass on our words to Lana.

Even though it was primetime to eat and drink, staff informed us a little longer to get drinks and food, which we were ok with. Never disappointed.

Overall wonderful experience just like previous afternoon tea events, but noisier than expected due to the changed venue being smaller than Harvest Room. Fabulous offerings of repeated classics mixed with new selections. Best value out of all the afternoon tea events in Edmonton.

Great atmosphere. Great food. Lots of options for food. Got there in time to take in Happy hour. Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable. I would recommend Vons to family and friends.
