We booked this after reading TripAdvisor reviews and it didn’t disappoint. Conveniently located near to Albert Street Car Park, and short distance from all the shops. We were welcomed and spent considerable time trying to decide. Menu fab, with good selection of more fancy menu with traditionals in there too. Presentation was superb, food cooked to perfection. Service was attentive and not over powering, very welcoming and friendly. Place is small and was quiet for a lunchtime but will definitely be back. The duck breast and the blackberry trifle were amazing!!

Yet another outstanding culinary experience at 1812. Superb food and attentive service in an intimate and relaxing setting. We cannot reccomend this restaurant highly enough. We have eaten at a number of Michelin Star restaurants and 1812 is of equal or better quality. Thank you for another special and memorable evening.

Rocky Bottoms started out as an 1800s brick kiln with a purpose to fire bricks. Eventually the brick kiln was unable to compete with larger competitors and closed down after WW2. Since this time the brick kiln has offered itself as agricultural storage until it collapsed and stood derelict.

In 2008 the brick kiln’s potential and need of restoration was spotted by local fishing family; The Matthews. After years of love and attention, Rocky Bottoms, as we know it today was born. Our doors opened in May 2015, just in time for the start of the crab season. We deliver local shellfish from pot to plate in a laid back environment. Rocky Bottoms believes in enjoying the simpler things in life!

Welcome to the Lodge at Salhouse, we are a family run pub occupying a charming 19th century vicarage. The pub has recently been renovated, including comfortable bedrooms set in seven acres of countryside garden.

We are fortunate to be surrounded by the picturesque Norfolk Broads, while Salhouse boasts numerous scenic walks for both guests and four-legged friends to enjoy.

The neighbouring village of Wroxham provides plentiful amenities including a department store, local shops and cafes, and is popular with holidaymakers wishing to hire boats - we would all agree that one of the best ways to experience the Broads is on the water!

Norfolk also boasts 90 miles of award-winning coastline, with lots of variety to explore. From sandy beaches and rugged cliffs to salt marshes, there really is a beach for everyone! Here at the Lodge our closest stretch of beach is only a half-hour drive away.

An incredible dining experience. We chose to stay and eat at Morston Hall to celebrate our engagement this weekend. The staff were incredibly kind and the food was the perfect way to celebrate. The courses were all delicious and left our tastebuds dancing. The ambiance of the restaurant was absolutely perfect as well.
