There are truly no words for how amazing the food was at Greco MBK. It was simply off the charts delicious!!! My family was celebrating my oldest son’s birthday. The servers were impeckable. We decided on doing chefs choice dinner which included apps and main. The chef himself came table side to ask likes, dislikes and allergies. And from there the food was bountiful and just amazingly delectable to say the least! The servers were able to pair drinks and after the feast we continued on with the Dessert Platter (for small extra charge) that just knocked it out of the park ending our few hours of traveling through Greece. Can not say enough about the food, drink, service and of coarse the Chef himself. All so personable, indeed truly happy to see you and you can tell they all love doing what they do at Greco. If you can’t make it to Greece this is the next best thing or shall I dare to say a piece of Greece itself. Go and enjoy!!

The food was delicious and well prepared. The staff was friendly and on-point. This is one of our favorite places to have lunch or dinner. Will definately be back!!

Two of us went out on a Friday night for date night. The experience was positive. It was our first time going there and we absolutely will go back. The food was terrific with great portions and delightful flavors. Service was wonderful except I didn’t get a fork so that was the only little negative but my partner and I shared his fork and that was kind of romantic. The price was perfect.

Market Place Tavern is the latest concept and restaurant for Market Hospitality Group. The Tavern which overlooks the Litchfield Green, is the oldest public building in town and one of the oldest penal facilities in the state. It was built in 1812 to serve as a jail for British prisoners during the War of 1812. A cell block and a three-story wing with additional cell blocks, which now is part of the restaurant’s bar area, was added in 1846. The jail closed in 1992 and was used as a treatment center for men serving prison sentences. It shut down again in 1993 and reopened in 1994 as a rehabilitation center for women facing incarceration. When that center closed, the state decided to sell it.

The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and features “American Tavern Food” with Craft Beers and Cocktails made with local spirits. We look forward to seeing you!

Their premiere dishes were just great... someone had ordered a salad to play it safe and that's what they got. But other than that we were extremely happy with the evening. The waitress was excellent and very warm and friendly.
