Nice restaurant right on the water. Food was excellent. The waiter we had was so so. They added a 20% tip to the bill because it was over $100. We usually tip well over 20% but not this time.
Great location, nice menu, food was OK. Dessert of Smith Island cake was dry and not very good - disappointing!! I’d give it another try because the Wedge Salad was delicious! Best part of dinner!
Try the fried Brussels sprouts appetizer. Great food and view of the harbor. Easy parking.
Great food, service and view.
Entertainment was a nice add. Super tunes like James Taylor.
The restaurant was surprisingly empty, even for a Wednesday evening. But we were sat by the window with a wonderful view of the Marina. Both the service and food were excellent. We expect to return.
Young male staff that left a little to be impressed about. (Nick) was cute, but not really concerned about being a server.
Scallop and Shrimp salad was recommended, but the greens were tough, old and on the verge of rotting. Interesting signature mocktail with muddled strawberry and seltzer which was quite good.
The view over the marina is lovely- that's probably their best quality. Hope the kitchen and staff can rise to better standards. Annapolis needs more fine dining experiences.
Good service, food and ambiance. Took our time and were never rushed.
It was my first time here and I throughly enjoyed it! The crab melt was wonderful. The Brussels sprouts were to die for. The portion sizes are huge which is nice because I had a ton of leftovers.
Food was delicious. Outdoor seating provided a great view. Service was great.
Very pleasant on the water and the weather was great. The servicer was attentive and the food was delicious.
Excellent service and consideration!
Great location with wonderful view. Service was very good. Menu offered many choices and the food was good.
Our server was very professional and friendly. The fish ‘n chips were in the dry side. Overall the restaurant looked a little “tired and when out” in terms of decor. It was noisier than we expected.
Took sons In memory of their Dad. I really wanted it be be special for Father’s Day. The food was salty and the crab cakes had too many shells. I told waitress but she made some excuse….don’t remember what she said.
I’ve been to this restaurant a number of times for lunch and have always been satisfied. I was disappointed with the experience.
Went there for Father’s Day brunch and they weren’t serving brunch that day. Was disappointed but our server was able to have that chef make my daughter a waffle, which was very nice.
Great service, good food
Great Friday Afternoon Lunch on the water - sat by the outside bar.
The crab cakes were lovely. I’ll definitely return to Sam’s.
The food was amazing with thoughtful quality service.
Views were great; nestled in between condos/townhomes - nice setting. Food was okay (spicy). Service was good. Would I go again; no.
The food was very good. Shared the calamari app, and I had stuffed shrimp with risotto. The food was luke warm, not hot. The risotto was good but not as tasty as I had hoped. Waitress was very friendly.
The atmostphere would have been better with a little music piped in. We sat inside, and it was quiet enough that nearby customers could overhear our conversation, so not very romantic/private. They had live music outside, which was nice, but nothing inside to create a nicer ambiance.
I would go back, especially to eat outside with the live music, on a less humid night.
Clean, friendly and welcoming overall!
I went for lunch, my server never told me that Tuesday was burger day. Heard another server tell other diners.
Terrific service. The food and drinks were excellent.
Service was excellent and friendly. Food was delicious. We had stuffed shrimp and rock fish topped with crab.
Hidden gem with water view. Great for special dinner or to enjoy a beverage dockside.
I was disappointed in the Chicken Sandwich. There was only about 1/8 of an inch of chicken to the point that I couldn't taste it and the outer crust was overcooked. Not worth the $16. The server inside was wonderful but Kyle, the bartender outside would walk away from the bar several times and not reappear for over 15 minutes. I asked for a glass of ice water with our drinks and he didn't bring and walked away for 16 minutes. Luckly our server from inside was outside and gave me a glass. I'm ambivilent whether I will return. Also, they were out of Yuengling beer so that did not make my husband happy.
Wonderful restaurant, exceptional server, delicious entrees and a varied menu. Perfect spot in the marina.
The service and food was very good but the restaurant and outdoor area needs a good cleaning. It smells like trash on the patio. The bathroom was dirty- trash overflowing. The setting is very nice but they need to better maintain the facilities.
We had a 1:15 reservation and I ordered the brisket sandwich. The meat was overdone, very lukewarm and salty. The server was very nice.
Best seafood we've had in a long time! The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. We had lunch there on Sat.
Noise level isn’t a fair question, there was a live band who was pretty good.
Definitely would visit again.
Very nice girls night out. Our server was very nice and appropriately attentive. The lobster roll was excellent as were the fries.
Took my mother to Sam's for Mother's Day and we had a great time! The food was good, however, the menu was prefixed because it was Mother's Day. The fried deviled eggs and the crabcake were great!
We visited for Mother’s Day brunch and it was a great experience!
Great place. Highly recommended. Will be going back.
Enjoyed Mother's Day at Sam's. First time there. A nice place for 79 year old Mom to sit and eat in quiet place while enjoying a view of the boats. The front desk initially refused to seat us until everyone had arrived. After looking at a half empty place and challenging the staff, the manager allowed us to sit. Food was good, not great. Place is pricey. $270 for four after gratuity. We'll be back, but its at this price most likely for special occasions of just simple lunch.
The restaurant had delicious food. Definitely worth the money. the only downside was the service was kind of slow but the server apologized to us. The bottomless mimosas were delicious and I will definitely be back when I am in the area.
Dinner to celebrate retirement. Service and food were great, music was too loud to the point of annoying.
Food was ok, very small crab cakes for the price. Service was very slow, after being seated bu a confused hostess we sat there for more than 20 minutes before anyone even came to the table, then another ten minutes to get a glass of water. The sounds of drunk cackling from the bar was distracting and the table next to us had some kind of arts and crafts session going on at their table with scraps of of cut up magazines scattered across the floor and selfie sessions flashing gang signs. Bad experience and I expected better based on feed back from patrons of the past. Im sorry I missed it in its glory days but those are clearly past.
The food, service and waterfront setting was lovely. The noise was was extremely loud and pretty much ruined our dining experience. We couldn’t even have a conversation at our table. We were screaming and we still couldn’t understand anyone. We also had difficulty hearing our server when she was explaining the specials. There was a lot of noise coming from the bar (as it was completely packed). There is a musician performing live which is great, however his amp and volume were turned up too much during an early dinner seating (5:30) We asked multiple times if it was possible to turn down the volume with no response. We were enjoying the music it was just too loud for us to enjoy anything else.
