Say Cheese! Restaurant & Cheese

I asked for no onions and pickles on my burger, unfortunately it still had it on . And there was no removal of that from my bill. So make sure you get what you ask for.

The only reason service was marked down on my review was there was miscommunication about our cheese plate. We did not want meat on it and the plate itself arrived after our entrees. We ended up taking the meat home so as not to waste it.

A little short-staffed, so service was drawn out, but a great experience overall.

Beautiful, interesting and delicious. The food is always amazing here. One of my favorite restaurants in the area.

A real gem amongst a already vibrant and fun culinary scene that is Penn ave in West Reading .

A little pricey but enjoyed! Prices may be high because of the Covid pandemic and restaurants are finding it hard to survive.

The food was delicious last time we visited, especially the friend pickles. We were disappointed that they changed the friend pickles. They were very salty and could barely taste the pickle. The rest of the food was good, but not as good as our previous visits. Tables did not seem 6 feet apart and we were seated right next to other diners even though there were other empty tables.

It was a unique experience in that its a cheese market in the front with what were retail store displays turned into dining tables area. The food was excellent and definitely a step up from the typical chain restaurant experience. The server was professional and very good. Would definitely consider going back again when the need a break from the usual restaurants.

Food tasted mediocre. Bourbon salmon was very dry. The sauce was cooked onto it, it was hard. Don't order portabella stuffed mushrooms. Extremely bland and super dry. The fried cheese curds were good. Overall very expensive for very little amount food and poor taste on the dishes.

👍 Our meal was fantastic sitting was great food was different but very good good choice of adult beverage products definitely want to come back and try their brunch great atmosphere as well.

Great Service. Food was good but the French Onion soup came out warm at best. Also i tried to make a reservation online for 7:00 but was not able to until 7:30. We showed up at 7 anyway and half the restaurant was empty and we were seated right away. Strange.

Dinner was great. Local parking was hard to find.

Their three variations on mac & cheese are great. I had the salmon mac&cheese and my wife had the fried brie and the soup de jour. All were great. Nice spot that feels more like Portland OR than Reading PA.

We brought our five year old daughter with us and had a great experience all around. The food was great with options for kids, and the service was fantastic.

This is one of our go to spots! Always amazing food and excellent service!

table for two and we both ordered cheeseburgers to be well done and specifically asked "please have meat well done, no pink, kill it" upon food arrival the burger was red inside with blood seeping onto my plate and soaking into the french fries. I asked server to send the burgers back which she did and they were then served cooked as requested. I was disappointed with the chef and server because bloody plate equals uncooked meat, not well done. Also when paying cash please count your change as mine was shorted but corrected when I advised the server. This was my third visit to this restaurant and at this point I am not sure if I will return. The dining area is nice and the place is clean. There is a cheese deli and small store on premises.

The food was great, the restaurant was very nice and clean. The cheese plate was amazing. My girlfriend ordered the six cheese Mac and cheese and I ordered the surf and turf. Both were amazing probably even close to the best we’ve had when it comes to those two dishes. Highly recommend this restaurant and I’ll definitely be back.

Usually this is a wonderful place to dine. We just did not have as good a meal. The menu had changed and we did not feel there were many good options to choose from. I ordered a salad gluten free, no croutons due to Celiac Disease. The salad came with croutons. Others in my group did not enjoy their meal.

We were there for my wife's birthday. The quality and presentation of the food and wine was terrific. The only complaint was that I asked to substitute one vegetable for another which they don't charge for. Unfortunately, the kitchen failed to do that and I ended up with a vegetable that I really don't like so it went to waste. I pointed it out to our server. He apologized, offered to correct it, but I declined.

Say Cheese has a wonderful menu, something for everyone but not 1000 choices. The wine/drink selection is also very nice.

The food tasted like someone dropped a bucket of salt all over it. Inedible and not consumed.

Excellent food and service! The cheese and meat slate appetizer was fun and the lobster and crab mac & cheese was outstanding! We will be back to give some other entries a try:)

We will definitely be back - the food was incredible and it was so challenging deciding what to order. The staff was all really nice as well. I loved the marketplace area in the front of the restaurant and the great variety of drink options. I highly recommend getting the meat and cheese board and trying one of their mac and cheese specials!

Location is great, food is always on point, value is good and service is consistent.

Always have a great meal here. But, wish the app choices would change/improve. Meal was otherwise great. Love seating in the front windows.

The food was very cheesy which was great! However within all the cheese it had an outstanding bland taste. The appetizers were actually better than the dinner dishes I had. Also, the lobster and crab Mac and cheese had actual shell in the food. I found two pieces of shell in my mouth. Thankfully I didn’t swallow that. I think I would only go back for their appetizers.

Food did not live up to the fancy plating. Branding was beautifully designed on the outside but not consistent throughout. Price tag on the cheese I bought looked like it was from a corner deli. I expected a better overall package for how nice the website and location was but I guess you can fool tourists for awhile...

Was in town for a show. Food was excellent. Cheese store was super cute. Everyone was very nice.

We always come to Say Cheese for girls night out. We were very disappointed in the food selection this trip. Normally there are some seasonal specials in addition to the menu. The server told us there were none because the menu was new and there were a lot of new choices. Most of what was on the menu we have seen before so definitely not much new. Disappointing visit, but drinks were great and service was outstanding. Could also use a better selection of desserts.

Three of us dining, each had a great time. The food was tasty and the price was right.

Always a go to and always great food ! I tend to like the lunch menu better than the dinner menu, but still all great food . And I just about always leave with some cheese from the counter !
