   Unmatched Italian food for Puerto Rico and the mainland, we loved the lasagna, meatballs, lobster ravioli, drinks and more. Highly recommend. Get a patio reservation in advance to enjoy sitting outside under the covered patio and warm Puerto Rican breeze.

   This was our first time to San Juan and to Serafina. I made a reservation, which was easy via Open Table. We only had to wait about 2-3 minutes for our table when we arrived. The waitress was very courteous and attentive and our food was delicious. My friends and I got some pasta dishes. The cocktails were good and it was an overall pleasant experience. There was a street light bulb that kept flickering nearby, which was kind of distracting, but overall, would definitely visit again!

   My wife asked for dressing on the side but it came drenched in honey. Reluctantly she reordered it but the brought the main courses before the salad. The wines we ordered were a different price from the menu. She shrugged when I told her but didn’t change the price.

   Food was fantastic, our server was very attentive and friendly. Somewhat pricey, but that’s to be expected at a hotel. Highly recommended: jalapeño margaritas!

    Though we had an Open Table reservation, it didn’t seem as if there was actually a table set aside for us. After a brief scan through the dining room the hostess pointed us toward a tiny table near the hostess station, which we declined to accept. After another, more thorough search through the dining room, our hostess found a suitable table and we were promptly seated. Our server was friendly, attentive and forthcoming with excellent recommendations. The wine list is very good, with excellent choices available by the glass or full bottles. The meal was well paced and all of the food was served at the appropriate temperature, well seasoned, and every course more than satisfied. My rigatoni bolognese was particularly good and the serving size was more than adequate. All in all, it was an excellent effort. We last dined at Serafina four years ago, nearly to the day, and chose Serafina for dinner this evening based on that prior favorable experience. Four years later, Serafina did not disappoint and we very much enjoyed our evening.

    The service was incredible and the food was impeccable. The waitress was extremely knowledgeable and personable, making us feel like we were actually welcomed there. The pastas and meats were delicious and cooked to perfection. We could not have had a greater experience for a dinner. My fiancé is allergic to gluten, and they can make almost every single dish using a gluten free pasta that is absolutely phenomenal. Serafina provided a perfect meal and experience for the evening. I would highly recommend enjoying a meal and a few drinks there.

    Came here with my sister on vacation and the food was amazing. For an appetizer we got burrata and prosciutto and for meals we got lobster ravioli and penne alla arabiatta and they were delicious. Our drinks also were super yummy. Only complaint was that the food all came out too fast, it seemed like we were in and out within an hour. After we paid the bill, we sat at the table longer in order to finish our second drink. Still would recommend!!

    Italian food out for us Italians would never be outstanding, very good though. A little pricey for what we ordered but service was great. Nice to be able to eat outside too!!

    Went for brunch to celebrate my 3 year anniversary with my husband and 2 friends. Rocky start: the server and manager had to be confronted twice about the unlimited brunch that was advertised on the restaurant website before honoring it. Brunch menu was limited, but good thing they were also offering the main menu. DJ was amazing and ambiance was nice. 20% gratuity already included in the bill.

    I cant stop eating here!!! The food, ambiance, music, & friendly staff keep me coming back.....but its mostly the delicious food!! Despite 2 times where our food was VERY delayed due to kitchen issues or new staff, the other 10 times I've been here were wonderful & I can't wait to go back! 😋😍

    This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. I love the Serafinas in NYC. But last night was plainly TERRIBLE. It took OVER AN HOUR for the food to come. When I complained they simply said sorry we have large groups. The people to our left, to our right, and in front of us got their food ok, but ours took over an hour. All tables around us turned. And we just waited. The manager simply said sorry we have too many customers and that was it. Sadly this is my last visit to what was once an amazing place. It has dipped below my tolerance for bad service.

    Awesome food. I have gone several times and we ALWAYS enjoy. The drink prices have gone up a bit though. $84 for 4 drinks before tax and tip is a bit high imo.

    I dined here because I did some research and it was highly recommended. I must say, I wasn’t impressed. I ordered a chicken pasta dish with peas and mushrooms. It was flavorful, but it needed a little salt. The staff was really good and the mixed drinks were tasty; however, no need for me to dine here again. Just didn’t meet my expectations.

    The bartender Carlos was an excellent and very nice person. However the food was undercooked and the price is not worth with what you are getting. The drinks however were really good and definitely worth going only for the drinks nothing else.

    Great location and the vibe was amazing. The service was okay and the food was okay.. The drinks were pricey for the presentation - I never mind paying for quality - the quality never matched the cost.. - We had a good experience, but hindsight - we definitely would have went somewhere else for my birthday.

    We weren’t seated until almost 45 minutes after our reservation. They clearly overbook and the place was packed. Service was slow because they are understaffed, not because the staff isn’t trying. In fact we had a hardworking server. My meal was terrible and the clams tasted old.. I would never go back.

    There ambiance was gorgeous, the food was spectacular, drinks were amazing. My favorite drink was the Serafina Champagne. The only downside was that the server wasn’t very attentive, but it was busy so I’ll give her that. It was just tiresome to ask for every little thing but aside from that it was a great experience.

    I emailed the restaurant ahead of our arrival because my daughter and I are gluten free. They assured me they had a selection of pastas and pizzas that are gluten free. Unfortunately upon arrival I was informed that they were out of both. Super disappointing. If you are looking for a bar scene type restaurant this would be a great place - loud, neon lights.
