   Weird experience. It was a cold blustery day, but they sat us on the exposed outside terrace without asking our preference. Plenty of space indoors but none of the tables were set and only one party was eating. Not sure what was up but a bit short on hospitality.

   While a limited menu, the salmon is excellent. The ambience and outside seating availability, including heaters and also blankets as needed is a definite plus in chilly SF.

   Horrid BEET SALAD — hideous mystery ingredients and horrid Caesar’s salad which even a novice could make very well — who in the name of god puts dill in Caesar’s salad DISGUSTING I WILL NEVER NEVER GO BACK — my god what’s with this place

   It was fine. Wish ALL servers were masked. It is ludicrous that it’s $22 for a hamburger for adults and only $12 for kids. The only difference is that hamburger for adults has lettuce and tomato, not quite worth an additional $10!

   We were outdoors. The ambiance and food were terrific. It can get a little windy but a small price to pay for such a nice venue. The service was a bit slow, which I have experienced in the past as well. I suspect it is part of the inevitable Covid shortages, etc.

   Went for Dinner. This review is based off their dinner menu. I believe they serve lunch and brunch with different menu’s. Upon arriving… it’s not very clear where it’s located after we found parking 2 blocks away. It’s tricky to find if you don’t know the area. The staff was nice and our server did a wonderful job. The food was all right. The menu is all over the board. It sort of doesn’t make sense. Is there cuisine American, Italian, etc or are they a fish restaurant that serves steak and pasta dishes. Maybe none of those. The atmosphere is not cozy or intimate by any means. The tables are huge inside unless sitting outside, where you have a choice of tall pub tables or outdoor Cafe tables. No heating lamps but they offer blankets. Who wants to eat with blankets over their shoulders? Anyway, It’s an okay restaurant located in a beautiful part of the Presidio. Which I believe is the reason why this restaurant has stayed alive. It’s not my first, second or even 8th choices of places to eat. I’d only go again if I happened to be hanging out at the beautiful Duck/swan pond and park which is directly in front of the restaurant. I’m other words, I’d go out of convenience.

    Restaurant is very nice with its location in the Presidio. The service was good but unfortunately 3 of the 6 of us ordered steak frites and NY and the meat was tough. Super disappointing. My daughter had the lamb chops which were good but super small with barely any meat. The cheese and meat appetizer were super good. The mixed drinks were good. The other guest had a salad which she liked. I would try it again just wouldn’t order any meat dishes.

    Great seating on patio, friendly professional wait staff, excellent menu options, delicious food and drinks and desserts at very fair prices, and perfect weather. All and all a fabulous brunch in a beautiful setting!

    Convenient place to eat in the Presidio. Hamburger is top notch!! Service is very attentive. Couldn't help but notice that while all the bus staff was Latino no waiters were.

    Best food I’ve had in a long time! The beet salad was outstanding the grilled chicken was amazing the pork chops special was next level and the chocolate moose for desert and cappuccino Were seriously the icing on the cake! I can’t recommend this place enough! The quality of the food was amazing the vegetables were perfect, Unique farm to table experience.

    Host only reluctantly gave us a table near a heater because she had 2 other people with reservations at the same time as ours. The other reservations never appeared while we were dining. One of our group’s martini was so watered down she asked to replace it with a glass of wine. Unfortunately they forgot to remove it from our bill. The same exact same thing happen the last time we dined there.

    The food tasted well, although it was rather pricey for the amount received. Not even bread or anything extra delivered to the table. The service was terrible. When asked what a particular ingredient was, the waiter‘s response was “it’s a sauce“. Additionally, he never came back to ask how anything tasted nor did he offer us any dessert, coffee, etc. I had made a notation when I made the reservation that it was my friend‘s birthday and they had said that she would receive a little treat but that didn’t happen. We could tell the waiter didn’t want to be there. His attitude and lack of service definitely put a damper on the night.

    We love the open terrace which almost always has outdoor seating. We've had good experience and bad with the food, but the burger is dependable and the twice cooked fries are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The service has often always been a bit slow at times and we usually roll with it. This last time, we had a very bad waiter who was impatient, surly, and rude to the point that if we went and got him again, I'd walk out the door. I know it's hard to get good staff these days but going out to eat is one part food, one part ambiance, and one part service/experience, and the third element can kill the vibe even faster than the first two.

    The server we had was incredibly rude. He got upset and yelled at me because I requested for the deviled eggs to be made without caviar. I am vegetarian. I asked this request about 20 seconds after placing the order. He became very upset and screamed at me in front of several other customers “next time tell the server immediately“ and then huffed and puffed and stormed off. It was very inappropriate. I have the right to request modification to be made as a customer. If it’s not possible, I have the right to be respectfully told so. I felt like a child getting scolded.

    although I requested to be seated outside when I made the reservation, the hostess claimed they had no knowledge of that, and told me to "make sure that their staff had that written down the request". I rather impolitely suggested that that was their job, I had no interest in policing them...

    We enjoyed our meal at Sessions. We had beet salad and hamburgers. The salad came right away, but it took a very long time for the hamburgers to appear. We even went to look for the waiter to see where our meal was. The quinoa/beet salad was delicious and the hamburger was good but not outstanding (and we expected better given the price.) We ate on the terrace and it was a bit cold/drafty.

    Came out here with a friend for the May the 4th Be With You event. Energy here was fantastic and the food was amazing. Ordered the burger and one of the themed cocktails which was a perfect pairing. In addition to the meal we did a wine tasting and rum flight to complete the whole experience. Would love to come back here soon!

    So great for brunch on a weekend outside! Easy parking via presidio or decent street parking on the Marina side. Max is excellent as a server!

    Love this place. Great deck. Nice location. Easy garage parking ($5). The food is quite good and the service is excellent. Dog friendly which is a big bonus for my family.

    The food was excellent. The vibe is kind of corporate event space, but it’s pleasant enough. I can imagine it’s great to sit outside on a nice day. Overall, a pleasant surprise.
