Diners' Choice Winners: Best Overall
Singapore's best restaurants based upon thousands of OpenTable diner reviews
i believe this restaurant have one of the best of all time services, the waiters are kind, funny, and also caring. the food on the other hand was also good but not outstanding. the atmosphere on the place gave a cozy vibe with a bit of class in air, i really recommend to visit this place if you are looking for a place to chill with friends or maybe a date. due to the indoor and a bit cramp(minor) i can't recommend it for a romantic evening. But above all i can safely said i have a michelin star experienced. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Our group of 6 for lunch had several special requests- vegetarian, vegan and no chilies and the waiter agreed to customize our food orders. We had the Burrata and crab toast for starters both of which were fresh and fabulous. The group had sea bass, clams and pasta as mains and everyone was pleased. I wd come back again just for the peach cobbler dessert. MoreOpenTable Diner -
I have been to Culina many times. Their steaks are still wonderfully done, and the Japanese pumpkin salad with yogurt was superb! A reason why my friend n I decided on Culina for dinner was their good cheese selection and the option to pick our own cheeses from their deli and pay a small preparation fee for them to serve it at the bistro. But however, on that day, th staff behind the deli section was a little difficult and insisted that the be a minimum weight of 100grams per cheese selection. There were only 2 of us and we wanted to order other dishes, and wanted to have 3 types of cheese. No where in their menu did they state that the minimum cheese serving must be at least 100grams and the staff insisted that we order at least 100grams of each of the 3 cheese or simply just order the cheese platter from their menu (and thereby, not given any option to pick our own cheese). I have been to Culina many times prior to this experience and had ordered their cheese and cold cuts from the deli, pay a preparation fee and there was never that minimum weight restriction. That kind of spoiled our experience that day. Culina is also understaffed- most of the time I visited- so be prepared to wait and wave your arms at them many times to get any attention from their wait staff. Not a place that I would recommend for business meals or a date when u want your guest to have a good experience. Otherwise, do go, cos their food is good :) MoreOpenTable Diner -
