   The service was immpeccable. The people are great. The food was just not there. I've been here when it was Hue and that was amazing. We had the "special" a 7 ounce filet . The quality of meat was as if it was from Winn Dixie. Just lacked the flavor and final touches on a very unique menu. My friend got the stroganoff and it was pretty darn good.

   I have been to Soco about three times in as many months and whether I have my favorites or I try something new, I am always rewarded with the best dishes of all types that I have had just about anywhere I have travelled in the world.

   A perfect Mother's Day brunch. Made a reservation so check in process was quick. Hostess was extremely pleasant upon arrival and seated us on the patio in a shaded area. The view of downtown was an added plus. The waitress, I believe her name was Savannah, was the sweetest. She even took the time to take a quick photo of my mom and I. She was very attentive to our table throughout Brunch which exceeded my expectations. Mother's Day is always a zoo but Soco was very prepared for the day. Will definitely return.

   Treat yourself to the smoked old fashions. The pecan crusted halibut melts in your mouth. Give yourself time to savor it. The wedge salad was cut up so the two of us could share it. We had their perfect biscuits for dessert.

    Great place great food. Only negative was watching the person who was making our dessert take his hat off, scratch his head for several seconds, and then go back to making our dessert without washing his hands. Love open kitchens except for this.

    While food was tasty and service was attentive and friendly , the overall place needs a good cleaning and reconnecting with some basic service principles. The paper menus we were given were dirty, wrinkled, stain spotted and even had rips taken our of them. We were among the first to arrive for brunch on Sunday, had a 10:30am resv and asked for outdoor seating, ALL tables were empty and we were told no, as they had "reservations". by the time we left - there were still 3 4-tops open outside. Again good food and service but if the dated and dusty decor and seeming indifference at the hostess stand don't change, not sure we'll be back, there are lots of choices in town.

    We were in the area visiting our in-laws and wanted to go out to celebrate our anniversary and of course Orlando has a million great restaurants so it was really hard to choose.. there was bone marrow on the menu here so that tipped the scale. My goodness!!! They had a fantastic selection of bourbons, sort of a bummer that it came in a regular glass.. but still, great selection. The food was beyond phenomenal!! The biscuits and jams….they have taken something ordinary and really brought it to the next level! Our waitress (who was an absolute sweetheart) said they were made to order and my goodness you can tell!! My hubby got the braised pork cheek stroganoff and he raved after every bite. The steak was an aged porterhouse with a mushroom blend, asparagus, and horseradish mashed potatoes… words can’t do it justice. We also got the bone marrow, the pimento cheese, the chicken and dumplings, and the banana pudding and each thing was absolutely phenomenal!!! This may have to be a staple for us when we come to Orlando!

    Jenn was great in taking care of us. Personal thoughts on a couple of menu items we ordered. The pork entree I prefer to be presented as a chop and not pre sliced. The shrimp n chef puppies lack chucks of shrimp to give more texture. Everything was great. The Brussels and the braised pork cheeks were outstanding

    As always, excellent. Everyone is so friendly, we would probably go there even if we didn’t like the food! Luckily, we don’t need to make that choice. We were there for brunch which is always excellent. Food is creative and tastes great.

    Wonderful brunch! So many great menu options it was hard to decide, but the Salmon Potato cakes won, and they were fabulous. Couldn't resist ordering the Chef's Pastry for a brunch dessert. Wish I had been in Orlando long enough to return for another meal. Excellent service (thanks, Steve!) and wonderful food.

    We had Easter brunch at Soco. We were seated promptly and the table was in a great location and very quiet. The restaurant was holiday-busy but the noise level was fantastic. Service was a little slow but to be expected from being booked on the holiday. Our server never stopped hustling. The food was excellent, and well prepared. The portions were great perfect and the quality of ingredients was apparent. The bar service was very slow and inconsistent. Multiple of the same cocktails ordered varied from weak and poorly mixed to absolutely outstanding. I look forward to coming back on a normal day to try it again.

    Once again, amazing service and phenomenal food! Brunch is always so busy here, but the staff always steps up and keeps the energy, mimosa’s, and plates flowing! Soco is by far the best place in town to go and grab brunch, or dinner!
