    While the lady at the front desk, when I called in (twice) was not very kind, our table staffer, Marcus was amazing!! We ordered the paella w/lobster, salmon, crab croquettes, and empanadas, and everything was amazing. The service was really fast, and we had a hard time cracking our lobster, so Marcus was kind enough to help us remove the meat! Marcus was also kind enough to give our bachelorette party a toast on the house. Honestly, will be back due to amazing table service, and quick (and yummy) food service.

    The managers were very rude. We asked to change the table from 2 to one of 4 because the table for 2 people was very small and they said no because those who reserved it were waiting outside! Conclusion: They did NOT give me the table of 4 that my husband and I wanted, they gave it to a other couple! So I called the manager again to give me an explanation because they didn't give it to me and they gave it to them and I had nothing to say, he remained silent and he turned his back and left without paying attention they are racist !! PS: I am a frequent customer of the place, I never go back

    Our party of 8 for the most part enjoyed their meals, however the rib eye steak was over cooked (diner requested rare). The pernil was well prepared but cumbersome to eat, especially in a restaurant of this caliber. In a BBQ setting it would have been OK. Appetizers, drinks and desserts were great. Joseph was a super server.

    After spending $345 last night’s on dinner with my wife and two children , I was left very disappointed. This was not my first time that myself & my family dined at Son Cubano.  Normally, the food is very well seasoned and tasty. Unfortunately, last nights dinner with the family was not quite enjoyable because the food was pretty salty. We immediately decided to cancel our reservations for Father’s Day because of this experience. Hopefully the next time we decide to visit the food will not be undesirable, but more enjoyable.

    Even though we had reservations we had to wait at the bar because there was only one server inside . It was a chilly windy day. Also the serving size for the ropa vieja was very small to be $35.

    The place and location was beautiful but overall the food was definitely overpriced and our waiter needed more training. And also your drinks are way too sweet, I only tasted sugar not a quality balanced cocktail for the price they are charging. My friend ordered a Filet Mignon and it was tough and not flavorful. If you're looking for a nice ambience, conversation, great views or on a date this is a nice place to sit at the bar.

    Excellent restaurant, the service provided by Daniel and the other waiters was 5 stars, the food and drinks were also excellent, the complement of the view of the city while dining is priceless. I definitely recommend it

    A walk in should never get seated before a reservation especially when under staffed and the reservation waited until they turned over. One waiter in section for several large parties neglected smaller party needs. One bartender was not sufficient to handle the traffic of brunch to dinner Adjacent table received same dessert and requested to wrap up and the waiter switched. Instead of getting us both new ones after we handled it. They just switched and apologized. Food was lukewarm. The lobster and shrimp tacos was amazing. And the Tour de Oaxaca was amazing minus the side glass seasoning. Ambiance and views are amazing. Staffing t-shirts were nice touch. I do want to try brunch which ended just before the reservation.

    I absolutely love Son Cubano! I discovered this gem back in 2014 on a road trip and I was hooked! I live in Boston and I try to go at least once a year. It's a lil getaway for me. The vibe is sophisticated and classy. The ambiance, the service, the music and the food are outstanding!

    We had arrived early for our reservation and fortunately they were able to seat us. The service (Johnny R) was very good. The food was excellent and the atmosphere is enjoyable with very nice NYC views. This was our first visit and I will return.

    It's a cute date spot, but I wonder if service is sub-par because 18% gratuity is automatically baked into your dining experience. Food was okay, but you're ultimately paying for access to the water view.

    My family and I had an amazing meal for Mother’s Day at Son Cubano. The service, the food ,the atmosphere was way beyond my expectations! We were seated outside which was exactly what we asked for when we made the reservation. The appetizers, entree and dessert were all fabulous. Not only delicious but the presentation was spectacular. Will be going back over and over and cannot wait to try other things on the menu. Just a beautiful restaurant that has incredible food. Would highly recommend to all of my friends and family !! Loved it and thank you for making our Mother’s Day so special

    Went here for a nice night out for my moms bday. We sat outside on the patio, gorgeous view, food was delicious, drinks were solid, service was very attentive. Great experience overall. Had a table for 3 hours, no one rushed us, we made a night of it. It is an expensive place, there is no way around that. Service, atmosphere, views, and overall experience are a big part of what you are paying for. The food was very enjoyable, but you can get similar or better food/drink elsewhere for less money, no question. This place is about the overall dining experience not just the food. It’s a get dressed up for a special occasion type place. I think they’ve done a great job of capturing that vibe. Been several times over the years and will go back again.

    The restaurant is beautiful and the views are amazing. The appetizers were delicious but the main courses and drinks were sub par. The food is very expensive and the restaurant charges a 6% fee for the use of credit cards to pay the bill.
