   Stanley's is a lovely place to eat. The waitress was absolutely great. Only issue was we were sat near the fire exit and the couple at the next table kept going out to vape and so it was drafty.

   I had parma ham for starter which was lovely. Port chop for main was too well done and chewy and it was disappointing. I had Ribeye steak before and that was really nice. The time we had to wait for the desert menu was too long and we had to prompt the staff. This was similar at the previous visit to the restaurant i.e. a long wait before the dessert menu was delivered. The staff did not seem too busy so perhaps these are points you can improve.

   I googled ‘afternoon tea in Liverpool’. Was given a link to your restaurant, clicked on it to be taken to your web site bookings. Booked afternoon tea for my wife, and our Mums. When they arrived at 5:15pm they were told that afternoon tea finishes at 5pm and they would have to use the regular menu. Made me feel like a right wazzack when I dropped them off and 10 minutes after dropping them off, they were on the phone to me telling me the Mothers Day afternoon tea I had booked them in for was a non starter, because they were too late. Thanks for that. I know you will say it tells me on the web page that afternoon tea finishes at five, but it wasn’t clear and obvious, in your face information at the time of booking and I felt no reason to look around and make sure that afternoon tea was still an option at 5:15pm. So a moderately expensive afternoon I had planned for my little boys mother and two grandmothers ruined.

    We had an afternoon tea at the hotel to celebrate my husbands birthday. We were treated curteously by all staff from reception to waiters and Manager nothing was too much trouble. It was a relaxed atmosphere and well mannered staff attended to us and were friendly and polite. The food was very good a bit too much for us we couldn't manage 2 scones each. There was plenty of tea and it was no trouble being given another pot. All round it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend it. My husband is a wheelchair user; parking for disabled was free and accessible toilets were on ground floor if required. Thank you.

    Excellent food and well presented. Our waiter Victor was really friendly, polite and got everything spot on. It's an impressive space architecturally and a nice reminder of Liverpool's working-class roots.

    Amazing place with lots of history. Staff was very friendly and helpful didn’t rush you and explained everything clearly. Food was delivered at great times, and was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

    A fantastic restaurant with excellent staff, and set inside the outstanding Titanic Hotel in Liverpool. The service was very quick and when the food arrived it really was at another level. And i really am not exaggerating when i say that they gave me the best steak that i have ever eaten! It was cooked to absolute perfection and I still cannot stop talking about it . The problem now being that i will always compare every steak i have with this one. Thank you, we will definitely visit again.

    I had a great time at Stanley's Bar & Grill. Good atmosphere, very pleasant and non-intrusive service. And of course the food, Well thought menu, solid presentation and a full of flavour. Definitely worth it

    Absolutely stunning area, a very professional welcome by your staff. Table immaculate. Staff very attentive. Our Afternoon Tea was lovely. My only criticism was the member of staff bringing a trolley of glassware from one side of the serving area to the bar twice. Was very noisy and he did it twice. Perhaps something like that could be done prior to service

    We attended Stanley's for afternoon tea as a Christmas gift for my mum. When we got there, the staff kindly reseated us as my mum wanted to sit next to the window. From then on though the service wasn't great: we were left a long time before rounds of tea or food were brought over to us, the staff got mixed up/confused multiple times with what we were ordering (brought us meat instead of vegetarian options, didn't understand us trying to correct this and also didn't understand us wanting to make a swap with the scones). They were all very pleasant & friendly to us though. The vegetarian sandwich options weren't great - 2 of them contained massive cold chunks of sundried tomato. The menu also didn't match what was brought, don't know why this was as it was never explained. The cakes were nice and the best bit was the super fresh, still warm scones. We liked that you could try the different teas without having to pay extra. The facilities themselves are lovely, it's a great building.

    Came here for my partners birthday. We stayed in the Titanic hotel and had our meal here. The food, service and the restaurant itself is amazing. The staff was great and made sure we had everything we need for a lovely night. Will definitely be back in the future.
