Brought two sophisticated diners from out of state. The Vineyard showed its best self. We had a great bottle of moderately priced Italian wine, two flatbreads that we shared (prosciutto and boar), followed by great entree dishes of mussels, duck breast, and deconstructed mahi tacos. All excellent. No complaints. Angie was superb as wait staff. More

I met my son there for dinner. The waitress was friendly and informative, and we both enjoyed our meals. We tried a bit of everything including some special appetizers and sides that were different than the usual cajun faire. The little corn muffins with cinnamon honey butter were a great surprise. It's a fun atmosphere, not white tablecloths, which in my mind is perfect for a night of cajun food. I'm hoping to get back on a Thursday night for live music because I bet it's a great time. More

I looked forward to the crab cake benedict I had a few weeks ago but it seems the recipe has changed. The entree was still very good but not as good as my previous brunch. More

Discover Havre De Grace

If you're headed to Havre De Grace, Maryland, step one is to try the crab. Visitors can find it served in almost any form that suits their tastes. Crabs caught locally from the Chesapeake Bay, steamed, and coated with Old Bay seasoning are a must-try. Other crab dishes include crab cakes, cream of crab soup, and crab dip. If crab isn't your thing, look for a restaurant serving Maryland's famous pit beef, which is a salt-seasoned roast cooked crispy on the outside and rare on the inside. It's typically served on a bun with horseradish and onion. Havre De Grace has a diverse offering of other types of fare such as Italian and Asian, and there are many pubs, steakhouses, pizza parlors, and fine dining options.
