    Service was fantastic. Our server introduced herself and was very informative. Our party of four ordered eight small plates to sample. All met or exceeded flavor expectations. No sangria served which we thought was odd. Other drinks were great. A bit loud but it was lively and similar to local restaurants in Seville.

    If you like Spanish cuisine you will love this restaurant. If you have never had Spaish cuisine, this is the place to go! Outstanding tapas for sharing and awesome paella. Service is first rate, very attentive. As if awesome food and service were not enough, the selection of Spanish wines has to be one of the largest in the country. The wine list is well curated and extrmely impressive. Not only are there well over 100 spanish wines, but the prices are very fair. There are many options in the $40 range and the top of the list is around $250. This is must go to restaurant and the wine list will keep you coming back.

    My clients requested to have dinner nearby their workplace in the Longwood Area of Boston. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks. Our favorites included the Bone Crusher Cocktail with Mezcal, calamares with squid ink aoili, tortilla española, setas with duck egg, tabla de ibericos, flan, and trufas. The noise level was low enough to allow for scientific discussions between my clients and out-of-town colleague. Our server Abigail and her teammates were attentive and accommodating. I look forward to dining at Taberna de Haro again.

    Another wonderful evening at Taberna de Haro. This is our new favorite place to bring out of town guests. Very energetic, some could say loud. Our server Nicole was wonderful. We were a party of 7 and ate indoors, although many people were eating outside. Each time we come there are new specials on the menu. This evening the asparagus were delicious and a very generous serving for sharing. We always order the gambas, pork skewers and eggplant. This time we also ordered the sweetbreads, spinach, Spanish omelette, green chard, croquettes, calamari, and piquillos...with the flan, vanilla custard and dark chocolate truffles with olive oil for dessert. We were stuffed but just kept eating. We chose a red and white wine from a recent wine-tasting there..Trasto Bianco 2020 and El Mismo 2020...especially enjoyed the Bianco. The food was and is always good. Very consistent...always a 10.

    We had a great meal; especially loved the duck which was a special, the Spanish omelette (tortilla) and great wine; great service; the pacing of when we got which dish could have been a little better but that's part of the vibe with eating tapas.

    Taberna is such a special place. The sherry list is full of delights, priced fairly and with an option for everyone. The bottle we were recommended paired perfectly with all of our favorite dishes- matrimonio, queso de cabra, gambas, and setas. The Moorish pork skewers were also delicious! Deborah and her team provided generous and lovely hospitality as always. I can't recommend this spot enough- it is pure joy! Especially if you have the chance to sit on the patio on a lovely summer night.

    A shorter than average menu for a tapas place, but everything we had was excellent. We had vegetables and seafood. The broth with the clams was irresistible. Had to ask for more bread to sop it up! They are a “sherry bar” so we explored a flight of sherries, a new thing for us.

    Another wonderful evening at the Taberna do Haro. Our server Maria was very attentive and informative. Last night they had a free wine tasting, with a Spanish vintner coming to each table offering tasting of both red and white wines from her vineyard. We ended up buying glasses of the white, which was delicious. The food is consistently excellent…generous portions for tapas, certainly able to be shared. We had the Gambas, Plancha, Espinacas, so Spanish Omelette, Eggplant, Calameres, and something else with French fries. All amazing. I hope you like salt…all the food is well-seasoned. Generous amounts of fantastic bread are also offered. The owner Deborah has been there every night we have been there. She makes the rounds and checks on the tables. It was a very lovely Friday night…all the tables were filled. Probably not the best time to come if anyone in your party is hard of hearing.

    Went on 2nd date here. Really good tapas. The chorizo is amazing, and my favorite dish! The pigs' ears were good, but my first time so a little timid. Croquettas delicious! Pork skewers were my least favorite in terms of flavor, and were a bit fatty. Artichokes were were very tasty. Ricotta w/ honey and cinnamon was a nice low key dessert at the end. Great ambiance, service, decor. Music wasn't loud at all which was nice. Server was very attentive, nice, and helpful. Solid food and quality. Highly recommend. Did I say it was the best chorizo ever?

    私のグループの高齢の男性(大変に有名な作曲家で、彼の奥様も同席していました)が、弟子の若い作曲家の女性とウェイトレスの女性の2人の写真を撮らせてくれと頼み、ウェイトレスは了解したので撮りました。しかし、しばらくしてすごい剣幕で、写真を撮って欲しくなかったとつっかかってきました。グループの大学の教授(女性)が、どうしてあらかじめ取って欲しくないと言わなかったのかと言いましたが、彼女は怒ったまま非常に無礼でした。その後ウェイトレスが変わり、私たちは大変に不愉快になりました。私はこの場合はウェイトレスに問題があると思いますが、いかがですか？写真を撮っている場面を私も見ていましたが、彼は決して無礼な言動はしていません。ぜひレストランの側の意見をぜひお伺いしたいです。よろしくお願いします。

    Celebrating doctoral dissertation defense. Atmosphere is lively but not too loud. Service is outstanding— super nice and patient. Food arrived quickly even tho’ warned it would take 30 mins. Food is great— I return with university groups as often as I can!!

    Four of us had an absolutely delightful business Tapas dinner at Taberna de Haro last night, Wednesday. One person in our party was vegan, but it was easy to order five dishes we all enjoyed that served her strict needs. We perhaps were a little over eager ordering five more that were non vegan but we enjoyed every dish. Olives, mixed salad, spinach with pine nuts, grilled eggplant and honey, mushrooms with duck egg, croquettes, cod balls, Iberian platter, pulpo and tortilla were all excellent. We ended up getting one truffle dessert to share at the end. Excellent bottles of Rioja and Priorat from their wine list highlighted the wonderful evening. We are already planning our next visit!

    The main reservation we had is that the background noise level is a bit higher than we would have preferred. But it was a delicious dinner, and our server advised us well on quantity and balance of dishes.

    Great vibe the minute we walked in. We sat at a high top table in the bar area. Our server was pleasant and we had the pleasure of the owner coming over as well to suggest a wonderful wine that we ordered and loved. There were a lot of great specials which suited us -we were a party of 5 and could share. We had many tapas and enjoyed them all. Chicken Paella was wonderful. Lovely spot. I hope to go back again soon, when weather gets warm to sit on the sidewalk patio.
