I was very excited to bring my dad in for Father’s Day, since I’ve always had *great* meals at Tapas in the past, but this visit was pretty terrible. My food was fine, but my dad’s salad was missing ingredients and his pork chops were awful - pressed paper thin, burnt and tough. Our server was perfectly nice, but seemed… green. When asked for a cup of black coffee, she informed us the restaurant had made the decision “not to prioritize” fresh coffee on this busy day, so it would be from the single pot they’d made that had been sitting for hours. Brewing a new pot was not an option. It was one of the most bizarre service experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant.
Service was poor. Ordered a strawberry salad. Received a bowl of spinach and strawberries. No feta nothing… The floors were dirty. Highly dissatisfied. I waited 2 weeks for a brunch reservation. To be disappointed. Lost a longtime customer yesterday.
Great service! Our server really helped us select great items and the right amount of food. We were never rushed! And what we ended up getting was amazing - meat & cheese plater, lamb chops, split a salad, and apple empanadas. We didn't have room for dessert, but we did have room for 1 more sangria!
Live music inside, nice seating options outside. We shared 5 plates and everything was delicious! Recommend the mussels and apple Manchester empanadas.
Just got drinks and our server was horrible. He was short with us and wasn’t pleasant
Tapas on Main had decent food but it wasn’t anything special and would not make me want to go back. Way too expensive for what it was and the experience was overall disappointing.
Excellent food packed with flavor! Great service and warm & comfortable ambiance.
Very cool place with a great drink menu! The food was very good, and the hardest decisions of the day were which plates to get and how many! It was a little uncomfortable with all the plates around the table and trying to figure out where to put things, but I would definitely recommend Tapas On Main!
Upon arrival, the hostess told us she didn’t know how to confirm my reservation to receive the Open Table points. We ordered fries, and the waitress brought the wrong ones. I ordered no cheese on my salad. It came out with cheese on it. Sent it back. Came back with no cheese and no walnuts. Not a good experience. Will not be returning.
llove the variety of offerings and quality of food
The food was great. We totally enjoyed each item. The sangria was very good, as well!!
The service was impeccable! From the warm smile and greeting when we entered, to being seated. The staff was great, we had excellent food, drinks and service. We always felt that we were a priority but not by hovering over our table. We were celebrating a friend getting her Phd and it was so nice to celebrate her and have great food and drinks. Everyone was so nice, even when there was a minor back up in the kitchen we were informed of a slight wait, we were checked on to make sure that we were okay with this, apologized to which there was no need for because there were several tables inside and a packed outside. The wait was minimal and we were kept apprised accordingly. It was truly a great celebration of a great friend at a great place. If you have not been go to Tapas and have a wonderful evening.
Only thing I can truly rate them on is service or lack thereof. Had reservations, was seated, and that was it. Never saw a waiter in about 40 minutes even after checking back in with the host twice. It wasn’t that busy. We finally just walked out.
we made a reservation for outside, when we arrived we were told they don’t make reservations for outside, yet it was an option to choose from on open table. we were told rudely by the hostess that we could eat at the bar or leave. we sat at the bar for a moment, the bartender was rude and unpersonable. even though it was on 70 degrees outside it was super dark, hot and humid, and smelled of eggs at the bar, so before eating we left a small tip and left without even ordering. super off-putting, no thanks.
The service was not good. Our server was on her phone, didn’t deliver any of our food she had other people do it. We got our drinks after our food and our drink orders were wrong. Also the hostess were not nice at all. Such a shame the food is good but the service is not…
Delicious and authentic food. Very attentive service. Nice for dates.
Great food as usual
Perfect Cinco de Mayo atmosphere. Libations and food are delicious
Not up to the food expectations we had for Tapas pre-COVID. The mixed tapas were not up to standards. Quantities were reduced. Chorizo was uninspired. The chicken crepe was not as good as it was in last visit in 2020. We have been regular diners at Tapas On Main and this visit was a disappointment.
The Tapas scallops and bacon wrapped figs small plates were amazing! Thanks for a wonderful night!
Fabulous food and service!!
Amazing! Me && my fiancé shall be back soon. Bartender was friendly and gave us pleasant conversations.
Okay experience, definitely a place we love going. Good drinks, food was different!
Overall, wonderful experience. The variety of chives is perfect but the best part is the presentation and tasting of each different item is well worth trying. My favorites of the nite were the bacon wrapped dates (shockingly, i loved these), seared scallops and the meat/cheese board. If u like sangria, the grapefruit and thyme or the lemon lavender are good choices.
The food was amazing as usual! It wasn’t crowded at all where we were sat, which is always a good thing! The service was good but the waiter took long to come back to our table.
Stopped for lunch and ate indoors. Service was slow and the food was mediocre. Bathrooms needed to be cleaned. Overall, the dining experience was below our expectations for downtown Bethlehem.
Food was good , service could’ve been better
Loved the chicken empanadas, the steak flatbread, and of course the bacon wrapped dates.
Greg was the best!
Anniversary lunch with my wife. We love this restaurant. Have visited multiple times and always pleased with the experience.
Everything was great & the food was amazing as always.
We were seated quickly, but never greeted by a server for 15 minutes. When we attempted to wave over a server, so we could place our order, we were blatantly ignored. However, once our food order was placed everything came very quickly from the kitchen. The food was great, and if the service wasn’t so bad, we would have rated this restaurant more than 3 stars.
Moldy bread, and the hostess lady was such a drama Karen, ughgh what a depressing place to go and eat, like turn on some lights and over priced crappy food, 20 dollars for some thinly sliced salami and some shop rite cheese, change up the menu already and get rid of Karen the hostess no personality and seemed soo miserable,, just do yourself a favor and stay away
Sitting outside at Tapas in downtown Bethlehem is like you are on vacation even though you are in your hometown! Staff is great, menu is fantastic and drink selection is fun!
Food was great however service was very slow. Our party was asked to leave twice because of a time cap when we already had our check and we’re waiting to pay. Poor communication between the staff
Drinks were good. Food was OK. Service was slow. Table was sticky.
The food was excellent but the service was lacking. We weren't given instructions on how to access the menu and 20 minutes after being seated they asked us if we were ready to order.
Tapas on Main is our favorite restaurant and they have really stepped it up recently. The salmon tartare is beyond compare! I highly recommend this restaurant.
The food was good but the waiter took forever to attend to us. I understand that busy times occur and waiters/waitresses can’t be available at all times but this particular situation was different. We could see him spending time chit chatting at the bar. He forgot my drink and kept forgetting what we asked for. Besides the subpar service, the experience was good.
Just moved up here from Lancaster.
Tapas is great. Quality place
