   Food was decent enough - especially the asparagus and the chicken - but disappointed they don’t carry patatas bravas, paella, etc everyday. No jamon or croquettes either. Feels inauthentic for a Spanish tapas restaurant. Cocktails - Spanish G&T and Southside - were not very flavorful. Service was indifferent. Rooftop location should’ve been more exciting, but wasn’t - not much to see and the place felt cluttered. Heaters were supposed to be working but couldn’t feel any heat. The place has potential and should’ve been more fun. Maybe if they improve the menu and service…

   Terra Plata is one of our favorite places. We always sit outside on the roof. The service is consistently lovely! The food is superb. Highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed.

   There must have been a staffing issue. Service was slow, food was slower. The entire staff looked stressed and unhappy. The hosts fake-it-‘till-you-make-it smiles were transparent and unconvincing. Hopefully this was just a bad night for them. Otherwise, their business will fail.

    Waiters took forever. Food took forever. Rooftop was hot and zero shade. When we did get our food they got the order wrong. Then multiple dishes came to us that weren’t ours…likely an off day but it’s the only experience we’ve had at Terra Plata in years.

    Server had attitude, did not come to check on us and was over all very slow. There weren’t curtains/shades on the side of the restaurant where the sun was blazing, which made for very unpleasant experience that just made us want to get out of there ASAP.

    Food was really delicious but served at entirely different times to different subsets of the table, had to ask a second and then third server for sugar, server missed parts of our order and they hard to start cooking it after everyone else was done with their meal. To their credit, I think they realized how bad it was going about half way through the meal and someone more experienced subbed in, but not a great Mother's Day brunch.

    Open table has a glitch where even though you select outdoor seating when making the reservation online, their system does not reflect that. Otherwise was phenomenal as always.

    This was our first visit, and the atmosphere is great. Sadly, the service was slow and server was forgetful. We tried seven food items and enjoyed two: steak, and churros. The lamb riblets were mush - almost all fat; the scallops were rubber. Generally, the food had little to no seasoning. WAY over priced. We spent $300, with each entree averaging at $35-40.     Excited to eat on patio upstairs. But not without ANY shade and full sun on 80+degree day. (Canopy is in process of getting replaced). Service was s..l..o..w, inattentive and sporadically friendly. We had to ask for ice and basic water refilling on sweltering day. If you’re not providing shade— at least pretend to care about your customer by keeping them cool with great service & cold beverages…at minimum. Sad to say current, one star reviews on OpenTable have merit.

    The food was great. Service was lacking. I had a lukewarm cider and we had our appetizers before our food got there. Also, the seating is crowded. I was basically rubbing elbows with the table next to me. Everything I ate was delicious.

    The roof is always glorious! It was very crowded so while the waitress was vey friendly when she did come to the table, we often had to wait for her to return. She was very willing to accommodate a split check and was doing her best in a very busy atmosphere! The food was good… the salad ( baby gem) needed some more dressing or flavor… mildly more and was a bit overpriced for what it was. I had the mushroom linguine which was delicious. Pasta would’ve been better cooked Al dente. The flavor was amazing! I will definitely return!

    On a nice day, take advantage of the rooftop it has such a great ambience! It’s covered and has heat lamps so even on chillier nights it’s still quite nice. Service needs a lot of work. I recently dined in for the second time during brunch and our server was seriously all over the place and really leaned on the bussers to save our experience. He kept forgetting our orders, had to get the busser to get our drink orders again, food was behind, cocktails came after our starters and it seemed like they doubled our orders cause we kept seeing more of our food come in. The same server even put the orders of the table next to us, on our table. This was really disappointing considering I had an awesome experience the first time I ate here. This time around was a huge disappointment but maybe they were just having one of those days.

    Amazing experience! They went above and beyond for our special occasion! Very accommodating and thoughtful, the service was impeccable and our server was very polite and attentive to our mother, the food was really good, we truly enjoyed the whole experience and we will definitely come back!     We had a reserved table but waited 45 mins!! They said they would not compensate for food and drinks but that didnt happen. They were out of bread, chicken and another meat so the food value was low. Extremely disappointed in this place as i had heard good reviews.

    I want to note I am not one to usually leave unpleasant reviews but I dined here for the first time ever and was very excited to try this local spot on (4/29), I was severely disappointed! When we arrived on time for our reservation, we were told that our table wasn’t ready, we ended up not being seated until 20-30 minutes after our reservation time. We tried to look past that and keep an open mind for the rest of the dining experience, but then our food and appetizers were put in and did not come out for over an HOUR. For the appetizer all we ordered was bread! We were told “they ran out of bread” but definitely saw other tables that arrived after us being served bread as an appetizer. At this point we decided to leave, we understand that it was busy that night however I feel like this quality of service was grotesque. As we were able to speak with one of the owners to let them know to kindly cancel our orders as we had not received the bread appetizer let alone our meal and have been waiting over an hour, she was very kind and partially compensated us. We decided to give another chance and returned back to our table, our food was then bought out within 15 mins however, my date’s order was put in wrong! He was given a cheeseburger after ordering lamb! One of the servers asked if we ordered a burger and we were like no!! This happened twice! We were like what is going on! The owner offered to us that we could keep the burger for free and that she would bring out our correct order, part of the compensation from the owner for our experience was letting us keep an order we did not place 😭, the food was okay. The overall experience was honestly very stressful and unorganized. I don’t think we will be returning here after such a bad experience. To top everything off, the owner asked us if we would like another order of bread which we agreed to and we were bought the bill without ever receiving the second order of bread, leading me to believe that it was all performative

    I made a reservation for 5:30 because we had tix at Paramount for 8pm. Showed up exactly on time and waited in line to check in. Was told we were checked in and we would be seated soon. Waited a couple minutes and watched party after party get sat before us. Finally Linda said our table wasn’t ready because the party ahead of us showed up late and would we like to go to the roof at a counter and start there. It’s really not my problem the other party was late and I think it’s unprofessional to say it. I was already getting annoyed so I said sure. She said let me get it ready. Waited probably another 7-10 minutes and she came back. We didn’t get to our “table” until 5:52. Someone gave us water and then we waited again. Finally our server noticed me looking around and came over. He thought Linda got us drinks. No she didn’t so we ordered everything at 6:05. Our first course came before our drinks and then other items followed. The counter we were seated at faced buildings around us so our backs were to the entire area which I don’t really care for. The guy that brought our food said it was the best seats and I said really??? There were menus and bottles of water sitting on the other counter so at times it was like we were sitting in the server’s service area. Linda eventually came to check on us to see if we wanted a table and we declined as we were almost finished. I had been wanting to go to this restaurant for a while and the food was really great. However I felt invisible and that I was being punished for some reason. Again, food great, server was good but what’s the point of making a reservation?

    Horrible service. Made us very uncomfortable and aware we we’re there during transition and that we were rushed to order food and drinks. We received half the amount of food we ordered. I know it’s hard to find good servers, but the unprofessionalism was uncomfortable.

    Our third time here and it didn’t disappoint. Well except for the reservation. Seems you can’t reserve the rooftop unless the option is open for the time slot. So we sat in the main dining room with the doors open and enjoyed the heck out of the evening. Our waiter remembered us and was just as great as the last time. Duck egg carbonara was delicious as was the hanger steak. I don’t know what the sauce was but it was to die for. And our pate charcuterie was just exceptional. The pear tart was the best dessert in a while. Not too sweet, light and creamy.

    We had a good sized party and had a full meal at Terra Plata, a place that our company often goes. The service was terrible, our waiter was surly and it took a very long time to get his attention whenever we wanted it. A poor experience all around.

    The four of us had a fabulous dinner! We each ordered something different for appetizers, main courses, and dessert, and it was all great. The truffle chips weren't very truffly but they were still good. The waitress was phenomenal--she had us laughing the whole time. It was wonderful to be able to reserve an outdoor spot too.
