Mother's Day Menus & Specials
Opening early at 12pm and serving our regular dinner menu and price all day!
We often visit, but this was unfortunately not like our typical visits. Although I appreciate the manager accommodating my weight loss surgery needs, the rest of my family was hardly able to enjoy themselves.
When we were first visited by our server Kat, honestly I was very uncomfortable. She seemed irritated by our presence, and when she asked if we wanted drinks it seemed like we should’ve just said water and moved on. I’m not sure if the fact that I requested a lesser price impacted our visit, but I would’ve paid full price if that was why we weren’t treated very well and not provided with the meat that we were there for.
We were only visited by the gauchos a few times, and it was the same meat/people the few times we were visited. We asked for specific meats, but they never came.
I wasn’t aware the mall closed at 7, so I was all the more disappointed because we waited an hour and fifteen minutes (by no fault of Texas D. B.) to eat at a special place with another hour drive home. We know everyone has a bad day, and I’m aware that there was a party of 6 turn into 10 - that rudely expected to be accommodated without notice -that added to the nights chaos. I do know you can’t address what you aren’t aware of, so I’m only sharing that it wasn’t the best night. We will certainly be back, we love it there!
This was an amazing experience my children kept saying they felt like royalty. The food was outstanding.
The food was delicious but at one point they just stopped bringing meat to our table. It was just my husband and myself. We must have waited 20 minutes for them to come around again. And they only came after I waived them over. Also we were asked if we were interested in dessert before our dinner plates were even cleared.
I wish we could have had a great experience but unfortunately it wasn't. We were there to celebrate a birthday and came out disappointed. We had to ask for the meat to come around to us multiple times and only a few came by and a lot of the meats that came by was the ends or cooked medium well to very well even when we asked for medium rare. None of us was even full, and after being there for 2 hours we had enough waiting. I don't know if I want to come back again. We've been there multiple times but each time the service has gotten worse over times. The manager didn't come by once to see how we were doing either. Highly disappointed.
person attending us on our table was amazing, the meet servers were not paying much attention to the table. the meet servers were giving portion equal to shave salami I mean I was paying high dollars for shave meet! I get thicker portion of shave salami at my local deli for much cheaper price.
Really wonderful staff and great experience. The buffet was open and well organized.
We were disappointed eating at the Syracuse Texas de Brazil. It took over 30 minutes to get our salads. Due to the pandemic, customers were not allowed to serve themselves at the salad bar. A single worker prepared each salad.
Server was overwhelmed.
Apparently this location has removed lamb chops from the standard menu and now charges an additional $18 for 8 pieces. This was always our favorite and removing this as a meat choice will keep me from returning to this location.
If this is a new procedure for all locations, I will stop eating at Texas de Brazil completely.
We dined 1 month ago at the Yonkers, NY location and the service and meat selection was terrific. The Syracuse location was poorly managed. When the manager told us that lamb chops were an additional charge and saw how disappointed we were, he should have either explained that this was a new change and/or made an accommodation.
They lost us as a customer. Penny wise, pound foolish...
The food and service was amazing. Date night could not have gone better.
The waitress was rude and ignored our table. I had to flag her down to ask for assistance. She didn’t come over to check on our table for over 45 min. She didn’t deserve a tip although my son gave her one. I have dined at this restaurant plenty of times. I have never seen such disrespect and poor service. I think this waitress needs to be instructed on customer service!!
This place is incredible, the food is amazing, and the staff is super friendly. Highly recommended.
Maybe we went to early but we did get brought out much of the menu. We were there a long time and it wasn’t until we were walking about that we finally saw someone walk out with something other than filet
This is one of our favorite restaurants for date night.
Not good experience, I had to wait 30 minutes before they start bringing little bit sausage chicken because good steak you have to be very lucky to have it. They let you eat Mashed potatoes bread salad and after you’re full they play that game acting like they are bringing some meat and that meat is cheaper meat by the way. My plate was empty all time Because they will not bring you enough meat sometimes they walk by your table and don’t stop even that card is on the green side and the plates are empty they still don’t care. Anyway the price you pay is not worth it.
Our waitress was very nice, and I don’t want her to get flack because I know she was doing the best she could with the resources she had. The restaurant was severely understaffed for a holiday. It took over an hour to bring us our salads, and we never got our hot sides we ordered (the buffet was closed to diners due to COVID). The food overall was delicious, but it would have been nice to enjoy something besides just meat and salad. I watched our drinks that we ordered sit at the bar for a while, but our waitress was stuck tending to all of our tables and taking care of something with the manager. I had to ask another waitress if she could please get our drinks as I could see them right there, and she didn’t really know what to do— and also seemed in over her head— before pulling our waitress away from the manager to help us. Again, I think our waitress was awesome and doing everything she could, but even she admitted they were totally understaffed. Management really should have planned better for Easter traffic so their staff didn’t have to be spread so thin and their customers wouldn’t be sitting ages without food. I used to love Texas de Brazil but this experience sucked, especially for the high price.
Everytime i go here i always try everything. The food is always seasoned right, and taste great. The potatoes are amazing and always have to reload up on those. The sangria if you like alcohol drinks while dining is a must have. Best sangria i ever had. Food just keeps coming around and i always leave full and wanting someone to wheel me out in a wheel barrel..lol. I never had a bad experience here. The manager comes around chats with ya, staff is friendly..perfect place for the money. Well worth it!
The food here is always good. I expected more additions for the Easter offerings since they specifically mentioned there would be Easter brunch items. The only add-ons were bacon, eggs, and a couple of bread items.
I was pleased with the way they handled the salad bar with the covid situation.
The service seemed a bit slow (not the meat service) but it also appeared that they were short-staffed.
It was by far the worst dining experience ever. We will never go back. It was a total disaster. Covid-19 restrictions are one thing but this was over the top. Salad bar was something we always looked forward to and the experience was to fill out a piece of paper to what you wanted. Just bad. No lamb chops. I asked for rare steak and they gave me well done. We asked for a pitcher of limeade and they gave us a pitcher of ice cubes with a little juice. Could not pour with out spilling ice everywhere. Waitress was not attentive at all and managers were rude.
Do not ever go here.
If I come back to this restaurant I would not sit in the bar area. The meat servers almost completely ignored us. And sitting right next to the entrance was not ideal. It was Easter Sunday and so there was a constant stream of people. Very annoying. My husband and I have never been here before so it was a unique dining experience. About 75% of the meat was done to a medium well. So in my opinion, way overcooked. The flavor was good (well seasoned). But the lamb did not come out until 2;00, the sever told us "it just came". The side dishes (the salad bar and side dishes bar was closed) were served by our waitress. They were just lukewarm. The waitress was also the bar tender and very good! All in all, I may try this restaurant again, but with changes.
Very experienced staff. Manager was active with guest and his dedication to the customer experience was clear. Each teammate complimented each other and supported each guest. Very well done! Bravo 5 stars!!
Excellent Food, our server was attentive, and took care of our every need! Great time would highly recommend if you are a fan of good meats and plenty of it.
Music too loud and not a good choice of music. Meats not coming out of of kitchen fast enough
Had to ask a few times for specific items then had to ask the manager in which he took care of it
Meat was cold. Service was slow. Usually really good. Disappointed this time. Not going back for a while.
Excellent experience as usual. Everyone was great.
Great service! Wish they had sushi. Meats were great!
Food was great, service was good, and it had a comfortable noise level. Would eat again.
Great food !
Spent over an hour and a half and was only offer meat a few times. Every time the servers would come out with meat they would loop around and skip our table. We asked our server if they could send food to our table and still nothing. We eventually asked for our bill and left.
Food is amazing and the staff were friendly. Great place.
Good restaurant but I imagine it’s much better after the pandemic when you can go to the salad bar yourself and get as much smoked salmon as you want.
Always good, always consistent.
You get salad delivered to you it took almost 2 hours because they were behind.meat was consistently coming around. I had a dinning card from last year when I arrived I said I had 1 they dud bot ask if it was this years so when I went to pay check with last 3 I was told I couldn't use.u bought another card for 60 which gives you 12 dinners at half price & was able to use .
Our reservation was for 645pm. There were several larger parties there which was fine but it seemed as if the people with the meat were not coming to our table as much as the larger parties. We could not make our own salad which i understand is due to covid, however it would have been nice to go up in between waiting for meat to refresh at the salad bar or the hot food bar. By the time the salad came I had already eaten the 1 sausage I had received and by the time more meat came around, my hot sides were cold. It just wasn't a very good system and for it to be $50 per person, I expected to have eaten more. We weren't satisfied so we left at about 8pm, which is when they were closing. Very unfortunate experience. Don't think Ill spend money here again. Our waitress was fantastic however, but $130 later and we were still hungry when we left.
Barely got any food was in between two big parties so we were pretty much looked over a lot. Unless it was lamb. Server was not good . Disappeared for about 30-40 minutes. Wasn’t made aware of how it worked being that we notified waitress it was our first time in the restaurant. I’d say typically you’d explain how everything works, but she couldn’t give us the time of day.
30 minutes at the table before meeting our server and getting water and plates, nearly 40 minutes before any food arrived at our table including the salad bar requests. A nearby table of 2 was sat and served completely (including meat service) before our party of 4 received anything. Requests for items were offered by the server but never received. As repeat customers I realize this is not common but certainly disappointing.
Lacks enthusiasm. Still trying to adjust to a new experience. Obviously not the same as before.
Worst visit ever... raw meat even after requesting well. No meat for 20 minutes. Slow service. Not sure if we will return, manager couldn't care less, last manager was great.. this guy- no good
Excellent food as always service was great. It was unique not going to salad bar all in all and amazing time.
Overall it was an experience , but make sure you have reservations about an hour or so after they open as we had first reservations and there weren't much meat ready to serve. They didn't have the red and green tab that you would have on your table to indicate to the servers to bring more meat or not.
Salad bar was understandably closed due to covid restrictions; they did give a sheet in the beginning to check off what you would like but would have like to know what else was there without having to ask the server.
The staff were excellent! Kudos!
4 adults and 5 kids, total with tip was about $485.... will only recommend to try if it was first experience of this kind of eatery or as dinner date
