Excellent Service and superb food. We celebrated our anniversary and everything was perfect. Definitely a go back to location.
Foods and service were great; always an excellent dining experience
A birthday. Outstanding all around!
Very nice lunch. Only 6 tables being used. Food was very nice and Matthew our waiter was very thoughtful and attentive.
The menu was scaled down but there was enough to offer. Rest of staff was very nice and manager came over to see how we were enjoying our meal.
Very relaxing and nog at all a rush job
As always everything was perfect. They always do a great job. That is why I have been going there for over 25 years. We really love everything they do consistently. Close to home also.
Always great food and service!
Came in for a regular dinner. Didn’t realize it was dine out Boston. We decided to go with that menu as it was a total deal!!
The choice was good but my steak, strip steak, was fattier than I’d like. Otherwise it was good but will stick to the regular menu next time 😉
A great experience! Our waitress was amazing and so attentive to our young children!
Mom and son date was amazing, our server made it better. Thank you
In Restaurant week you dont get the real quality of a restaurant
It was restaurant week. Everything was delicious and the service was amazing. The waiter recommended a glass of wine that was not only good, but reasonably priced for the wine list. The creme brûlée is not to be missed!
Great food and service. The desserts were fantastic. Cant wait to return. Love the extended restaurant week opportunity.
Capital Grille never fails to please. For most diners, it does everything a steak house should, from the very best cuts of meat to an outstanding wine list. This particular visit was during Dine Out Boston and the place was packed. The amazing thing was that the service was still stellar! But the noise level was hard to take. We all chose high wines by the glass. The Hanzell Chardonnay and Fremont Abbey Stagecoach Merlot were outstanding representations of the best that Sonoma and Napa can produce. In conclusion, even during a "restaurant week," this restaurant performed at the highest level.
We were greeted friendly and sat quickly. Our server Damon was very knowledgeable and very professional. Bread was served timely as well as salad and chowder. Our main meal was good but, I remember the steak being better there. The mashed potatoes just weren’t very good. Dessert was delicious
A bit disappointed. Appetizer choices not great, caesar salad should be offered again.
Had the NY Sirloin. Smaller and chewier than in the past.
Green beans had too many tomato pieces.
We had steak, veg , potatoes, salad and red wine. The steak was tender, flavorful and cooked true to medium rare. The waiter efficiently tended several tables, taking good care of us, and had a fun personality too.
Everything was great and we always love going during restaurant week. The only small issue was that the filet mignon on both of ours were a bit tough and a tad overcooked, but overall the meal was great. The mashed potatoes are ridiculously good and the best I've had anywhere. The creme brulee was also awesome.
the food was excellent and the service was outstanding.
Good value for restaurant week
The food and service were excellent ans going suring restailurant week made it a super value.
Shawn is the best waiter!! Food was excellent - done perfectly and appreciate flexibility in letting me get a Caesar's salad even though not on restaurant week menu!
We had great service from Denise and the food was very good. Always a treat.
Our waiter, Moe was outstanding. His knowledge of the menu and food was much appreciated. He came back to our table several times to ensure that our experience was satisfying. Food was delicious.
Food was excellent. The staff in Chestnut Hill is awesome and Jeff is a great leader for the team!
Excellent service! I enjoyed the staff and the food was amazing!
Our waiter was awesome and informed us about rest week being extended so we would come back.
Maybe because of the restaurant week, the service and the food is disappointing.
I asked for a medium well steak because I’m pregnant and I told the waiter that this is important. However the steak is mostly pink/red, like medium rare. I told the waiter and they recooked my steak, this time still the steak is like medium!
You cannot cook steak in a steak restaurant?!
Excellent food and outstanding service. Very pleasant experiencel
Really like the restaurant week specials. A great deal. Kona sirloin was spectacular but I find if you do not order alcohol , service is a bit lacking on many occasions I have frequented this restaurant.
We had lunch for Dine out Boston. Eating lunch which just happened to be our Wedding Anniversary celebration. We both chose the Grilled salmon for our meal. After the first course of salad or chowder and completing our meal with flourless choc cake and cheesecake. The meal was excellent and the portions were perfect. Since we were celebrating our anniversary our waiter had sprinkled little stars and hearts on our table. The entire meal and atmosphere was perfect for our celebration.
We went the Capital Grill for Restaurant Week. Everyone was attentive. Food was amazing. And of course the restaurant week deal was a big bonus. We can’t wait to go back.
Love, love this place! They are always so sweet to my son, who is 3 years old. My filet mignon tasted like butter. Everything here was SO good!
Dinner at Capital Grill was fabulous. Barbara, the hostess, was very accommodating as we had a last minute increase in our party size. Outstanding service and great dinner.
From start to finish from food to service everything was excellent restaurant week included the provided every accoutrement to success
The entire evening was awesome. Service was professional, friendly and efficient. The food was excellent - everything was made to perfection. The atmosphere and ambience was warm and classy. We have dined at many fine restaurants and this one checked off all the boxes! Highly recommend.
Had a pleasant dining experience for a weekday lunch! Was well received by the hostess and waiting staff was pleasant and jovial. We tried a fixed price 3 course lunch menu and food tasted good and the value for money was excellent. I would try that again. Also have been to this location of Capital Grille previously for business dinners and have always found the food and experience to be good and appreciated by everyone in our group.
Steak and service was perfect like always
