Great place for a birthday celebration. Had tasting menu and wine flight-all excellent. Not sure about chimichurri sauce on meat, but could easily avoid it. Tom gave great service and wine descriptions

We go to the crossing a lot and love it. Last night was disappointing. The trout was not good. My husband didn’t say anything (I had the other fish and it was fine) but he was underwhelmed and said the fish was not good! 🙁

Came to St Louis for daughters bday. Wanted to take her out for special dinner. Wish I remembered our servers name. Great service. Got the 4 course meal. Everything was excellent. Bit pricey but for a special occasion. Would come back

Oh my goodness the cassoulet! So good! We had a fairly subdued mid week dinner out, hoping to avoid crowds. As always the staff at the Crossing were kind and accomodating. I had the cassoulet and my husband had the octopus and a pasta. Best restaurant in St. Louis!

Very pleasant experience at The Crossings. Staff was very welcoming, nice ambiance and pretty good food. One person in our party had the crab cake sandwich - ok crab but also had peppers which overpower the crab - would suggest keeping it simple and include more crab and less other stuff. Overall a very nice place for lunch, dinner or a drink.

We looked forward to our first tasting menu experience after having an amazing time at Acero with their tasting menu. We were left underwhelmed with The Crossing and wish we would have spent the money and time out (have a young one, so don’t get time away often), elsewhere. The service got better as the night went on, but we had no introductions and waited about 15-17 minutes until someone came to get a drink order. Aspects of dinner were exquisite in flavor and originality, while others were bland and lacked excitement for the price and anticipation. The Spanish octopus was outstanding, but the tagliolini with the truffles added on (at $30) had little to no flavor. We both felt the trout was cooked perfectly but just average in flavor, yet the skirt steak entree was delicious. Both desserts were yummy. Neither one of us cared for the Panchu or mushroom soup aperitivos. I can’t say I’d return or advise visiting in comparison to other tasting menus or service around town, but we enjoyed parts of dinner. May have been an off night!

One of the finest meals we have had in years. Mushroom soup, light but not bright, was excellent. 3 cheese pumpkin ravioli was delicious. The pork shoulder, pounded, was perfectly tender and absolutely succulent. The fried apple turnover with crème fraich perfectly prepared. Had a very nice visit with Jim Fiala and our server, Howard, was very attentive and pleasant. Always great to see one of our favorite servers over the years, Tom. The best. A special shoutout to Johnny who ran the water, bread and cleanup in our area. What a personality and smile. A PERFECT 49th Anniversary dinner. Thanks to all.

Third time we've been to The Crossing. It has been fabulous every time. We did the four course tasting menu and they allowed us to mix it up any way we wanted. It was wonderful! The choices are all so good, it is very hard to choose what you want. Service was perfect. I can't stop recommending this place to people looking for a top notch dining experience!
