Great service. Great food
Our favorite restaurant when visiting the Lancaster area. Its our go to.
Food is local and fresh. Always delicious specials and regular menu
favorites. We have never had a bad meal there and we have been going there for
the past several years. Menu has a wide array of choices to choose from that
never disappoints. Excellent cocktails and desserts add to the dining experience.
Beautiful location and wonderful ambiance along with the attentive and friendly
wait staff makes for a pleasurable and memorable dinner.
WHEN MANY RESTAURANTS IN THE AREA DID NOT SURVIVE, THE GREENFIELD STAYED OPEN AND MAINTAINED IT HIGH QUALITY !
GREENFIELD RESTAURANT - superb lunch, great ambiance, comp. appreciated
Today we did lunch on the florally exquisite patio. My burger was excellent and my partner rated the chicken salad on a croissant as the best she has ever had. Christian our server did an admirable job. Lastly we appreciated the owners comp gift certificate of 2 drinks for a previous rare less than satisfactory dining experience.
Great atmosphere, and good food. Definitely worth the trip.
Always a fabulous meal at the Greenfield. Food could have been hotter and service a little more prompt but I chalked it up to the lack of help these days. Live jazz in the background made for a most enjoyable evening out.
Food is always fresh and pleasantly displayed on the dish.
A friend took me to the Greenfield Inn 25 years ago. I fell in love with the place. Beautiful building, great food, staff is exceptional. Always consistent every time we visit. We now take many friends there. You will always be happy to visit this lovely restaurant.
Outstanding food, service and ambiance
Our 1st time here and not sure how we missed it! Beautiful facility, nice bar area, great cocktails and an awesome bartender in Eva. Dinner was perfect! I had Diver Scallops on Corn Risotto and my wife had Pork Schnitzel. Both were done perfectly. Wine selection was tasty. All in all a wonderful meal. Looking forward to our next visit here!
White tablecloths yet not too formal. Pleasant and friendly staff. Meals were very good. Second time there. Will go again and take friends.
Wonderful restaurant. It is pricey but the food is excellent.
We haven't been there in years but will be going back soon.
We had several items from the menu including but not limited to the short rib egg rolls, the fresh calamari, the salmon, the grilled ribeye steak and the linguini seafood pasta. Everyone totally enjoyed their selection. One member of our party went off menu and made a special request that was granted - no problem. Our server, Kim B., was extremely pleasant, accommodating and attentive. All in all, we had a great time.
A great meal to end the day. We had a long day of fun.
This was the first time we ate at Greenfield’s having moved to the area fairly recently. The food was exceptional and considering the staffing challenges during the global pandemic we are facing, the service was good. I would highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back!
The Halibut was delicious. The sides were a combination of vegetables and were cooked to perfections.
It was marvelous… always is!
We would have enjoyed our experience more had the server worn a mask and confirmed that she was vaccinated. This is an issue for us.
Highly recommend this restaurant for their food, service, beautiful environment, and especially their outdoor patio seating. We’ve been coming here for many years and the food has been consistently excellent! My only negative comment is the music they had piped through the speakers out on the patio. It was way too LOUD, and the speakers must be old and in need of repair because the “music” was full of static with crackling sounds. We had to ask twice to turn down the music, and when it was finally turned completely OFF, several nearby tables applauded. People want to be able to converse when they dine without having to yell over the music to be heard. Other than that one incident, everything was lovely for our group.
Dinner at the Greenfield Restaurant was tasty and it was pleasant and quiet on the patio. The bar was too noisy for conversation.
Food excellent. Took out of town guests. Very impressed.
Love the Greenfield the food the service and of course the atmosphere adds to a great place to eat and meet friends.
This restaurant is clearly understaffed, as we waited over an hour for our meal. The "pork schnitzel" was a pork patty smashed (not a cutlet) and covered in overdone vegetables. We were in the restaurant for 2 and 1/2 hours. Service was spotty and the food was just okay bordering on bad. I do not recommend this restaurant.
I have been to the Greenfield Inn Restaurant every summer for the past ten years on a girlfriend’s weekend. We always have a delicious meal. The wait staff is always attentive and personable. We will de going back.
We have been there many times before, but this time was a little different. Salads were not the best, entree was very good. My spouse ordered a drink did not taste anything in it but tonic water. We will try there again.
The staff was very friendly. They did everything they could to make our evening enjoyable. We ordered the filet steaks which were outstanding, the best we have ever tasted.
John and Yati do a wonderful job at creating wonderful dishes. We love the Greenfield Inn.
Overall wonderful experience. First time visit, food was exceptional, fresh and cooked to my exact request. Very nice seating set up to allow for private conversation. Server was knowledgeable on menu items and very attentive without being overbearing. Very nice wine list. Will definitely return when in the area.
Lovely restaurant with excellent food and friendly, unpretentious service.
This was my wife's birthday and at our table was a birthday card signed all of the staff including the chef. We started at the bar for cocktails before going to our table. Our appetizers (spring rolls and calamari) were delicious. The entrée course followed quickly. It was hot and the filet was done perfectly. I would definitely return to The Greenfield the next time we are in the Lancaster area.
We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with another couple who were also celebrating a special anniversary. We had a wonderful evening and great service.
Our dinners & service were very good. Service was great.
Just a few things could have been better: It was very cold with table next to 2 vents. Server put a menu over vent for me. We seemed too close to other tables considering Covid situation. Could hear, in equal measure, the bar music and the dining room music at the same time.
The lunch menu was not extensive, but the choices were varied and our selections (Quiche, Fish & Chips) were extremely well prepared. The staff were uniformly
courteous, attentive and competent. The ambience was relaxed and inviting.
This was our first visit to the Greenfield, but it won't be our last. We do not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking fine dining in a welcoming and comfortable setting.
We return every year for my mother's birthday. They never fail to make you feel welcome and appreciated. The menu is the right mix of light fare and substantial meals. We especially like the brightness the windows provide. And great Bloody Marys!
We loved the atmosphere as soon as we entered...just gorgeous windows, clean and inviting. The food was absolutely delicious...and the drinks were spot on! We saved room for desserts and we didn't regret it one bit! We want to go back as soon as soon as we possibly can!
Very nice menu, lunch was delicious.
The outdoor seating very comfortable beautiful afternoon
Tasty meals for both of us. Good service. Amy recognized that the AC vents were making us cold, came over and covered them with menus. Way to care for the customer! Also nice to be able hear each other talk during dinner.
we were sat in an "overflow" room of the restaurant even though e were there at 4:30 when the restaurant opened. A short while later, an elderly woman entered after falling, bleeding, and loudly talking in very gross descriptive words about her wounds. I have a weak stomach and couldn't finish my meal; we were taken to the bar to finish our coffee. Very disappointing since this is a high-priced restaurant.
