The dinner was wonderful. I had scallops which were done perfectly and my wife raved over the pork schnitzel. the service was perfect, attentive and the pace timely.

The ambiance was great and service top notch. Best crab cakes west of the eastern shore. Very diverse menu and prepared to perfection. John Mohler, former White House Chef serves up variety and excellent proportions. The wait staff was well trained and efficient. I recommend this restaurant for lunch, dinner and brunch. I have tried all and they are equally excellent.
We have enjoyed dining here in the past. Very different experience at this time. We were only ones in the bar area. But you you continue to thrive in this environment. Best wishes in the new year.

Last day for 2020 restaurants were allowed to have in person dining. Staff was very professional and practicing good social distancing. Food was excellent. I had the ribeye rare and it was cooked right. My wife had the crab cakes which were vary good also. Good selection of inventive drinks and wine.

Felt safe--acceptable distance between tables. Food was excellant. I do think it is a little expensive...$11 for dessert. Small salad with 5 scallops, coffee and dessert was $30 before tip. So we will only visit on special occassions.

This was our first visit to The Greenfield. What a pleasant surprise! The crab cake was perfect and my husband enjoyed his eggs Benedict. We will certainly be back.

We just moved to Lancaster, and this is our second trip to the Greenfield Restaurant.
The food is outstanding and our server, Chez, is fantastic. We highly recommend this establishment to anyone who appreciates quality food and service. The Chef and Owner was kind enough to spend time speaking to us at our table. It is definitely our new favorite go to restaurant. We look forward to our next trip to The Greenfield.

We enjoyed our Thanksgiving meal.
The shrimp cocktail was very good with large, cold shrimp. The turkey dinner was excellent as well as the creamy creme brulee for dessert.

We had a wonderful Sunday brunch. The food, drinks and desserts were outstanding. This was the entire party’s first time at brunch (I have been there before for dinner). The atmosphere was very nice and we had a great server, Kim. Would definitely go for brunch again to Greenfield Restaurant.

The halibut was one of the night’s specials and it was excellent. We received a friendly greeting and our waitress was very attentive.

Server was not overly friendly, appeared as if she did not want to be there, food was warm...steak was not cooked properly and we were not asked how food was till she came back and asked if we wanted dessert.
MichaelR, We sincerely apologize for your recent negative experience. Our restaurant has been known for excellent service, so we regret that we missed the mark during your visit. This certainly is not the standard, and we do hope that you will give us another chance to "wow" you.
Our reservations were at 7:15 - we were not waited on for 20 mins after arriving. We were served our first round of drinks at 8:00.
Service was very poor which is surprising since they were at about 50% capacity.
They also changed the menu and most of our favorite offerings had been dropped.

As for the change in menu - due to COVID-19, we had to cut our offerings in half and we were also disappointed to see many of these items go. We are hoping that we will be able to bring back many of these favorites soon! Thank you for sharing your experience and we hope you will give us another chance.

We have dined at Greenfield’s on several occasions. The food is always delicious with a good variety of choices. Upscale but casual.

This used to be my favorite restaurant in Lancaster County (as I don’t like Amish cooking) but the last few times we’ve come the food quality is not what it used to be & our soup & my dinner was cold. The restaurant is beautiful & the service is still great but I won’t be going back for dinner there for awhile.

I took my sister to the Greenfield Inn Restaurant to celebrate her Birthday. We had a really nice time. She has been wanting to go there for awhile. We use to go to this restaurant when we were younger. We had a great meal, great service and nice ambience.

Very busy. Service superb and she was very busy but attentive. Kitchen struggled to keep up and manage flow of food.

We had a lovely dinner on the patio- they have heaters and the tables are distanced. The food was excellent, steaks and fish all prepared perfectly. The funny part was that at 9:00 pm we were almost the only table there and realized it was time to leave. This was a Friday night!
