More bar than restaurant. The food was ok but nothing really special. The Shepherd's Pie was a bit disappointing and lacked flavor. Not well seasoned and didn't have a homemade taste to it. Not much love went into the dish or Irish pride for that mater. It was something you would expect from a chain place like Applebee's. The Perfect Pint Irish Red beer was on the watery side and lack character. I regretted that selection after my first sip.
It's really a bar that has food and should either improve the food or stick to bar finger food and just do that well.
A little hard to find as the name outside isn’t the name in which we booked reservations for. Upon arrival we were told there was no seat for us despite our reservations. Tables were really close together. Steak was terrible. Bathrooms were small but went with the “pub” theme. Brussels sprouts were spoiled. Mashed potatoes were cold and old. Spinach dip was ok. Serviced was hit and miss. Attentive however not accommodating. Wouldn’t dine here again.
Great spot for friends and family to eat drink and just enjoy a good time. We sat on the rooftop which was enclosed but spacious. The food was delicious and the drinks were on point! The bill was amazing I was able to treat my family comfortably! The ambiance is chill but also lively, by that I mean a balance of great energy and chill at the same time!
We love the Perfect Pint every single visit!
Food was awful
From the outside seems the PP is closed. Entrance is at connollys.
Great heated rooftop dining at The Perfect Pint West. The menu was basic but offers something for everyone. My soup, black bean burger and mud pie were all delicious. The service was excellent and the prices most reasonable. Wonderful dining option near Times Square for both visitors and locals.
Second time there. Always a great time.
Great food & excellent service
Fantastic place to meet with family and friends! Service is impeccable. Food is excellent. Last but not least, the pint of Guinness is perfectly poured! Check out the bathroom, a keg sink, not to be missed. Thank you Perfect Pint!
Great food, reasonably priced drinks, and top notch service.
Not bad. Obviously built for tourists, but it offered the nice option of a roof top bar area; huge! Our waitress was outstanding. I would go there again for a casual/quick meal when visiting NYC
Word of advice, make a reservation. My guests and I made reservations and we were glad we did. The service and the food were excellent. I would recommend this spot to anyone.
Great for quick before show dinner or after show drink, food, etc. Good wait staff. Great location.
Great choice of beers and Irish stew was delicious and perfect size...nice specials mid week...would go back😊
Pre theater meal was great
Super-friendly staff as always. Fast-paced service with plenty of time to get to the theater. Good selection of standard bar fare, as well as a variety of specials. Great location.
Great food, great service, generous portions
We went on a Tuesday at 5:00. The dining area was not crowded but the bar was well attended. The overall atmosphere was lovely and the waitstaff very nice. Food choices were delicious including the stew and the chicken curry dish. Prices were reasonable and portions were more than enough. Very good!
The Perfect Pint was a perfect inexpensive place for a pre play lunch. Less than a block from our theater, it offered a relaxed, quiet place to enjoy a pleasant lunch before heading out. The draft beer selection was extensive— we were delighted with the Guinness on tap and our other selection, the Killarney cream ale. Both were delicious. We ordered the Irish stew and the chicken pot pie and were pleased with both, though we thought the chicken pot pie was the better of the two dishes. It was chock full of chicken and had a wonderfully creamy gravy. The Irish stew was more potatoes than meat with both mashed potatoes on top and chunks of potatoes. It would have been nice to have more vegetables in it but, other than that, it was tasty. We’d go again to this delightful little pub.
Had a great time on the way to a show - food was very good and service was excellent !
The food was terrible. Overcooked and dried out fish and chips tasted microwaved. Nothing special about the service. Great selection of tap beer
It was our first time there. We loved the pub feel and the Irish hospitality!
At 7pm on a Wednesday it was a great choice before a show. Service was great, food good and enough time to have an after dinner drink before a show.
The Perfect Pint has been one of my favorite spots in NYC for years whether for work or family meals. The food is always good. The service is always wonderful whether they are busy or it's a Monday night like my last visit. The location is very convenient in mid town.
Fun NYC pub near our hotel! Great service
Excellent food and good service!
Lovely meal fantastic start to our weekend
Going to the theater. Convenient.
The staff was very attentive; the food was excellent; the beer selection was terrific. A very nice experience, overall.
Good food. Much better than most NY Irish pubs. Highly recommend
We had a recommendation from someone to go here when we were going to see a Broadway play. We were greeted right away and brought to our seats. Since it was a Sunday at noon the place was pretty quiet with the football games being later in the day. I was able to get their red ale on sale for $6 on a special that day and it was very nice. We ordered soups and pretzel for apps and all was tasty. For entrees we had a chicken pot pie, chicken sandwich, and a burger which the bartender/waiter recommended and everything was hot and tasted good.
Food and drinks were great. Great place for pre or post theatre. Wait staff was very attentive. A plus service.
3rd visit before a show and never disappoints. Service is great, quick and the 2/$20 lunch deal is great. Get the crab cakes if you can
It was nice
They sat us in the “rooftop”.
A little loud
Nice place, close to time square
Overall very good Irish pub. Nothing special but all was good. Food was hot and quite tasty. With all the over priced restaurants in this area this was a joy.
There was almost no beef in the beef stew. I was so disappointed.
Had a great lunch with the family. My husband loved all the beer choices. The food was very good. We will be back
Very reliable Broadway favorite: good quality pub food with friendly service & winning atmosphere. We enjoy the quieter upstairs (only this night a way too boisterous table overtook the air with loud chatter) It’s a bar, talk happens! Still worth the walk towards 6th Ave off B’way.
