Great cocktail before dinner (Aviation). And the food was terrific. We'll be back.
The food was excellent and our server Sam was the best!
Easy to locate entrance. Free valet and coat check. 3 or 4 $5s should cover those tips appropriately.
Tied LA Prime for my most expensive 2 person dinner, at about $335 in total including all tips.
Steaks were perfect. Waiter was fantastic and got a 25% tip for being so.
They were busy af, for Valentine’s Day, yet the whole meal with desert took just over an hour or so.
The whole experience was on point for the price. Better food/steak than Fleming's or Morton’s or Ruth’s...
the steak was butterflied and half of it was burnt. I gave my girlfriend 1/2 my veal chop and I ate the 1/2 steak because I didn't mind it; otherwise it would have gone back. You could see it was burnt on the plate so it never should have left the kitchen. The Milton Inn has a steak that is worth this price. Years ago you got a bread selection- now you get a loaf of warm bland bread. I was shocked at how poor the food has become. I was fortunate to have the last gift card I was given so I did not get stung for $212.00 The waiter was excellent and I did not penalize him with his tip that is paid in cash. A shame because this used to be a good too restaurant-not anymore.
Best restaurant in Baltimore! You can’t beat the service or food anywhere.
Good. Black walls were not aesthetically pleasing.
Prime rib came out way undercooked. Asked to cook more. Looked like it was microwaved to overdone and chewy. Not good. On the other hand the shrimp cocktail was very good.
Best service award goes to !!!!!! Prime rib ! Absolute excellence! First impression was everything ! Pianist and jazz omg ! Just very romantic! Bravo !
Food was amazing! I had filet and lobster tail, hubby had the prime rib. Everything was cooked perfectly. My only critique is that tables were pretty close together. Would’ve appreciated a bit more privacy.
The restaurant was excellent. The service was great. My wife and I had a wonderful time.
Always a time to remember at the Prime Rib. Our waiter made us feel right at home immediately, demonstrating why their reputation for top notch service is well deserved. Escargots was incredible, but the centerpiece was the medium rare prime rib, done to perfection. We finished with pecan pie and another great memory. Until next time...
You have the friendliest staff that has come to know us, since we go often. Food is superb. No rush, everything cooked to order, clean, great piano music, and an anniversary dessert on the house! It's our favorite restaurant. Thank you all.
Best restaurant in Baltimore. Old school steak house.
As wonderful as usual: Charlie’s jazz piano was brilliant, Bob’s service was stellar, and the filet Oscar was exceptionally prepared. No place offers a more consistently superb and authentically local dining experience.
Bradley and the staff were right on point!! Thank you for a wonderful meal and Outstanding service.
Once again Great service from Aaron our waiter and the rest of the staff. Food was magnificent and a good time was had by all.
We will be back again and again
Dinner at the Prime Rib is always a great experience. The service is professional yet still friendly. We were there for our son's birthday and they made an appropriate fuss. When he told me he wanted a good steak - I knew right where to go. From family celebrations, guy's night out, or a special date - this is a perfect place to take anyone looking for old school Baltimore dining. Love that they still have the piano player!
Great service. Food was good. Price was reasonable.
We had a lovely evening in a classic Baltimore spot with excellent food and service.
The food was awesome! The piano was a nice touch and the service was impeccable! We really enjoyed it and will be back.
The Prime Rib does not change and that is a good thing. everything on the menu is excellent. The service is top notch, very attentive to your needs and not noticeable when you don't need them. My "go to" restaurant when everything needs to be the best.
Usually visit at least 4-6 times a year, NEVER disappointed, Food selections and preparations are GREAT.
One can never go wrong by dining at the Prime-Rib, Baltimore.
Dining at The Prime Rib is always an enjoyable experience!!! The service is stellar and the food absolutely delicious. It almost feels like stepping back in time when you dine there...and you don't get that from a lot of restaurants these days! Definitely recommend!!!!
Excellent as always. The service, ambience and food were stellar.
Once again it was an enjoyable dining experience with good friends. On our prior visit the prime rib was below par, way below par for this establishment. They have remedied that and I very much enjoyed the portion that was served. Our server, Tommy, was wonderful and entertaining. We would not hesitate to recommend The Original Prime Rib to those looking for a classy place to have a fine dinner.
An elegant dining establishment with delicious food
Classic, classy, delicious - always!
Great food, and service!
We had an early reservation and we were sat immediately. Greeted promptly by our server John. Courses were spaced but timely. Food was delicious and perfectly cooked. Valet wait was less than 2 min. Would definitely recommend.
Service was very slow for Restaurant week and I didn’t want to make a scene
Superb as always! Please keep this historic monument alive! Thanks a million! ☃️😍🎶
As always, The Prime Rib provided excellent food & service. Even the valets were exceptionally kind & attentive to the needs of the elderly. One member of our group prefers her steak well done while the remaining three of us enjoy it medium rare to rare. Because it was restaurant week, every table was filled. Despite this, our waiter didn't rush us to finish. I was surprised that he served dessert before we asked for coffee. I am used to the wait staff asking if coffee is desired before serving dessert.
It's restaurant week in Baltimore and The Prime Rib is celebrating! We got the house salad and tomato soup, filet mignon, and key lime pie and chocolate cake. We also got the crab lumps on top of the entry. The whole meal - down to the bread and butter - was fabulous. Parking was very convenient and complementary. We will be back this weekend.
I was there to celebrate a friend’s Birthday. Needless to say there were four of us and we had a great time. Of course we went during Restaurante Week, and to tell the truth, I can’t decide what was better the food or the service. Can’t wait until next time! So if your thinking about going just do it, you won’t be disappointed.
The food was tasty, but very basic. I ordered the House Salad- not much flavor from the dressing. The filet mignon was cooked just as I asked and very tasty. The mashed potatoes and creamed spinach lacked seasoning. I ordered a pomegranate margarita- very good, no complaints. The complimentary bread tasted very good and freshly baked. Lastly, the creme brûlée was not too sweet, very creamy, and tasty. The service was okay- nothing that stood out or above and beyond. I even overheard the table beside us talking to the manager about the waiter’s subpar service- I could agree. Overall, a decent date night at a Baltimore staple and nice to participate in Restaurant Week.
Went for restaurant week, and was surprised how high quality it was. Restaurants in this town seem to really be hit or miss on restaurant week, but Prime Rib was spectacular.
The very best of everything!.. All the food was very good as well as the hospitality!..
Undercooked prime rib. How hard is it to get one thing correct?
