A lovely room and ambiance. The serving staff are first class, especially our waiter, Nathan. All of us ordered Clams Casino which was terrific. Two of us ordered prime rib, the standard cut. Very tough and difficult to cut even with a steak knife and our orders were rare. Sides- onion rings and potato skins did not disappoint. The roasted asparagus was a very small portion. Somehow when you go to a restaurant called The Prime Rib, you expect the best prime rib, this was definitely not the case! The quality of this restaurant should match the prices.

The ambiance and decore is outstanding with an old world charm. Live jazz is adds to your sense of importance. The service is equally remarkable. But that’s where it ends. Our food was better than average,but not distinguishable from much more moderately priced venues. Moreover, my $100 steak was over cooked (sent it back) just to receive an undercooked steak. How a high end steak house can twice misjudge a temperature on a steak is inexcusable. My au proivre was overwhelmed by peppercorn and the sauce was highly unusual dominated by shallots with no discernible brandy. I do better in my kitchen. My wife’s sea bass was good and reflective of the price. Overall, it is a good choice if you don’t get the steak.

The Original Prime Rib was amazing last Friday evening. The food was out of this world delicious, the lump crab stuffed shrimp and the NY Strip were perfect. Service was outstanding by Sam and the renovations looked beautiful.

We didn't think the steak, lamp chop and veal chops were worth the money. They did not come out piping hot and were not such a great portion for the money. We will go back, but maybe not order these type of main coarse picks.

The valet parking couldn't be any faster or more convenent! We started off with Escargo which is an appetizer that not many restaurants can bought these days we also shared a Clams Casino which was equally delicious! For the main course I had the Filet Minion medium rare which was perfectly cooked and one of the best steaks I have ever had. The wife has the crab cakes and they were unexpectedly better than we would have imagined considering there are several good locations in Baltimore for crab cakes, however none of the others could come close in ambiance and service!

Solomon, our waiter, was amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable and so engaging with our group. He made excellent suggestions and was attentive without being overbearing. The food was good but expensive which we expected.

I opted for the filet mignon, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations considering the price and the esteemed reputation of the restaurant. The dish turned out to be rather dry, leaving me desiring a significantly better culinary experience.

My family and I hadn’t been to the prime rib in years and much to our surprise, it’s still top-notch! Food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were very good, and the service was amazing! What more could I ask for on my birthday than all of that!! Good food nice atmosphere, family all makes for a great dinner!

Excellent service from the person who seats you to the waiter that serves you. Food was past my expectations and the steaks cooked as requested. This is a place went to 30 years ago and its as good now as it was then!

A great place for a gourmet meal and also for a birthday or anniversary celebration! The ambiance is fabulous with the live music and sophisticated décor. Of course the food is splendid with a menu that covers land and sea choices. We selected lobster tails and lamb chops - both prepared perfectly and and beautifully presented. The two sides of broccolini and mushrooms were just right. Some great wine choices are presented too. Our server, Jimbo, was fabulous. He knows the menu well. He is personable, knowledgeable, professional and has a great sense of humor. We knew we were in capable hands. Our experience had no negative sides and we look forward to our next visit.

The pricing has increased a lot over the years that the value dropped so it isn’t worth it anymore. Still same great service and ambience for sure but consider the price for what you get.

Elegant and Charming environment. Even though I'd booked early during the week, still had to wait for a table of their choice. Regardless, it was a First Class ambience environment. As we entered the room to take our place, other patrons or clienttell were very pleasant enjoying their food. Quality, highly experts Servers were extremely welcoming, friendly and experts in their own domain. They suggested a variety of alternatives to choose from but were never pushy leaving us to make our own decision in choosing our menu. The "Appetizers" and drinks were out of this world. We truly savored each and every bite. Here came the hot dishes - from the Land as opposed to that of the Sea- and every little plate was well presented, prepared and carried to our table. Did I mention that quality and elegancy did not stop there. Management treated us to 2 desserts instead of one. Actually, before three days we celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary and we preferred to celebrate my husband's B-Day on Saturday, instead of Monday, at such a Fantastic Place. When finally we had to leave, every one included thanked us for Choosing the Prime Rib (The Original) as our destination. Picking our car at the Garage, the attendant also had a big smile and wished us a nice week-end. Such a pleasant experience will live within us for a long long time; making it a pleasure to visit again.

Bill was an excellent server. I ordered the Veal chop. The top side looked fine. However, after eating a bit, I realized the bottom side was completely black. Literally a black burnt layer I had to scrape off. I didn't want to complain since I had an important guest. Not what I expect from the Prime Rib. Food like that simply should not be served.
