Quilon opened in 1999 and quickly established South-west coastal Indian cuisine on the international food-lovers map, winning a Michelin star in 2008 which we have retained ever since. Our menu embodies a unique blend of ethnic and progressive dishes with seafood at its heart but also offering meat, poultry and vegetarian dishes, mostly designed for sharing. At Quilon, our philosophy is simple. We aim to convey our passion for South-west coastal Indian cuisine, through a quest for perfect ingredients and techniques.

Amazing meal to celebrate our 10th anniversary just before all the restaurants shut.
Will be coming back here many, many times when they reopen.
A great family birthday dinner! All food was absolutely outstanding, especially the Black Cod - cannot recommend highly enough! Choice of cocktails and wines was as good as ever, and the La Reserve from India is a fine red wine at a very good price. Service was excellent as on previous visits, and the evening was well rounded off with a few delectable Hennessy Paradis cognacs...
Have dined here a number of times. Had the Seafood taster menu this evening, dishes were ok. Had Prestige paired wines which were good. Enjoyed one in particular and when asked for more was charged for a glass which considering we paid £146 per person for dinner seemed like a liberty. Don’t think we will be returning.
Fantastic food from southwestern India (Kerala region) with a focus on seafood. No heavy sauces, but TONS of flavour. Worth the trip to London to eat at Quilon. Their Michelin star is well deserved.
Apart from Lobster which was overpriced and did b not Taste Indian cuisine. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal
Great food, atmosphere and excellent service.
Our waiter was very friendly and made us order the bet itens on the menu. Everything was delicious.
I loved that place.
Incredible food all around! Quilon is known for their seafood, yet creates wonderful flavorful dishes ranging from chicken to vegetarian options as well. Food is spiced perfectly. Pistachio cake is a must try. Will be back.
The menu was helpful for us as we had dietary restrictions- it shows which dishes have dairy, gluten, meat, etc. Everything we ordered was delicious - the quilon salad was a great way to start the meal, as it was super light and the ingredients were all chopped up fine so it was easy to eat and share. We got a chicken dish and chickpea masala, both were delicious with their lemon rice and naan. We definitely would go back here the next time we’re in London.
Fantastic food! I am going regularly to the Quilon when I am in London and now for 6 years, and I was never disappointed.
Wonderful food and place. Excellent service. Makes you travel
Nice relaxing vibe. Impeccable service. Great food
I love Quilon. It is admittedly rather pricey for an Indian restaurant but I have never had
an indifferent meal here. The "no tipping" policy helps as well.
Went for lunch: had 2 courses, was tasty food, but overpriced for the simplicity of the dishes in my opinion. Food wasn’t piping hot (incl. paranthas). Dinner might be different and warranted! There were nice touches (amuse bouche of rasam and papad), good service.
Excellent experience, food is great. We tried the roast chicken - essentially a curry with lemon steamed rice, mini Masala dosa is also worth trying. Extras they provide include poppadoms with various dips and a tomato looking/spicy drink which was surprisingly tasty. The outstanding service really made the whole experience even better, particular thanks to Rugby who went above and beyond to ensure we had a positive experience. Restaurant itself has a romantic, cosy feel.
A fantastic dining experience. Lovely staff, a relaxed atmosphere and food to die for.
It is a Michelin started restaurant so the price reflects this. However, it is worth paying for.
You will not be disappointed.
There is no way that they should have a Michelin star.
Excellent in all respects.best crispy okra since The Lake Palace in Udaipur.
Great food, lovely people. I would suggest everyone goes
Quilon continues to be superb in all respects. We visit London every January and Quilon as well — and when you consider the sheer number of outstanding Indian restaurants, that is the best compliment we can pay.
we went there for a pre-theatre dinner, service was efficient and good. I thought it has more of a modern twist unfortunately it was more traditional than I thought but food was still good
Amazing food and service. The server gauged our taste and preference and asked the chef to prepare a chicken item that was not in the menu. The prawn masala was great as well.. complementary Rasam soup was outstanding. A great Michelin star Indian restaurant with great service
Food was delicious and service was good, but the atmosphere was a bit weird, because it wasn’t very busy and at one point we were the only people at the restaurant. It is not too fancy, but definitely underrated.
Excellent service and superb food
Lovely birthday lunch, one diner was vegan and the chef adapted the dishes accordingly. Idli was nice, chicken dish was excellent. Great service as usual.
Service was imposing where waiters reach over you without warning
courses were rushed for us to hurry up and get out
food was bland with too much salt
We had an amazing and tasty experience during our visit! We do not typically eat Indian food, so this was a nice venture into a moderate level a food adventure that was new to us. The menu selections were varied, and the range of our order suited our palate. Our waiter was excellent and our selections were sufficient enough to bring back to our hotel. We were very happy to have had a delicious experience!
Had an amazing evening! Highly recommended!
Great food, excellent service and good value set lunch. Could be more lively as it was very quiet at lunch the day we visited, but a lovely and very comfortable space.
