The Vineyard Wine Bar
This place is exceptional! The wine menu is extensive with very competitive prices. But the stars of the show are the staff and the thoughtful food. The staff is warm and inviting. They are constantly willing to offer recommendations and they never just steer you to the most expensive items if you are a novice. They have a more casual ambiance while retaining an upscale offering and it never feels stuffy or pretentious. The food menu is fantastic as it has offerings for those with various food restrictions. I eat everything, but my wife is a vegetarian and there is always several options for her. And more specific not just filler options, flavorful and balanced dishes that will impress. For what you get from this dining experience it it well worth the price!
Love the ambience at The Vineyard, especially the side room with the fireplace. Unique and wide selection of wines. Smaller plates than I would prefer, but the blend of rich ingredients and flavors makes it worth the while. Our server, Ashley, always offers great recommendations and is responsive to our preferences. We plan to return again; this is our favorite date night spot!
I’ve been to many wine bars, vineyards and tastings. This is none of these.
The food is overpriced and seriously underwhelming.
The staff is uninterested and unresponsive.
The charcuterie tray quality is no better than you could pick up at the Giant. The chorizo was inedible. No crusty bread or olives.
The talapia stuffed with imperial crab, the fish was over cooked. The imperial lacked the creamy goodness and browned top you would expect.
The mushroom tart, it’s not a tart. It is store bought puff pastry with ricotta and mushrooms a top. There was no hint of carmelized onions and no rich yummy gruyere. It is so unpalatable it should be removed from the menu.
Save yourself $100.00 and give this a miss.
Excellent wine selection, excellent food. We had a wonderful time.
The Vinyard Wine bar is my favorite restaurant in Havre de Grace. The food is always amazing, no matter what the seasonal menu offers. I love the ambiance of the wine room, and always request to sit in there. Whether I get a table or the couches, it is very comfortable and the evening is always relaxing. I also love the tasting size offerings of wine- with such an extensive selection, it's great to try a few!
The vineyard wine bar is one of our all-time favorites in the state of Maryland!
The food was good but served with plastic silverware and cups. Don’t know if due to ordinance but not a good touch. The wine was good at a good price. Service was very slow in spite of rest being almost empty. We ate outside.
Husband was served duck that was raw in the middle. We had to send it back to get it cooked through. The rest of our food was very good.
Great wine selection; great atmosphere and great service.
The best place in Havre de Grace.
Probably the worst food I’ve ever had
I love the concept of this wine bar/restaurant. Prices are reasonable, large variety of wines, and the take hone price/bottle is outstanding!
I can't say enough nice things. It never disappoints, its quaint, alittle gem, food and service always an A+.
A beautiful day, great server, really good food.
Gteat food. Great atmosphere, and great wine. We especially love the sofa by the fireplace. The food is outstanding and the small plates allow you to share many dishes. They have an extensive wine list so you can various types.
Vineyard Wine Bar is our favorite place to eat in Havre de Grace. Joe and his crew never disappoint.
Due to Covid there was a more limited menu and we ate from disposable dinnerware, but overall a very good meal and service. I would definitely go again!
Awesome Food and service!
Reasonably good outdoor setup - making the best of a tough situation. Food was excellent as usual. Server was vey knowledgable and gave us great recommendations.
This was my second time at the Wine Bar and I love it. It was a Saturday afternoon with friends and the staff, food and wine was perfect
Always a great experience here, and our Anniversary lunch to celebrate 22 years was no different. In the midst of the pandemic, the food was exceptional, the wait staff were attentive, and the wine options stayed strong and vast. This was our first time dining out since March, and we could not have made a better choice. Supporting local establishments is now more important than ever, and I encourage others to pay it forward as restaurants and their staff try to do all they can to keep their doors open. Give a more generous tip. Order take out. Find a reason to celebrate with a nice meal. And, be patient until things return to normal.
This place is a long time favorite of ours, great food, vino and service! We will be back.
Fantastic food, especially the flatbread! Fantastic wine!
My two nieces and I enjoyed a lovely afternoon. It truly is one of my favorite places on the planet.
Always excellent food and presentation.
Great service .
Great food and even better wine. The server was very knowledgeable and provided great suggestions. We went with a series of small plates and had a great experience. The brushetta is unique and one of our favorites. Highly recommend the Vineyard.
Food & wine were delicious!
Dinner at the Vineyard never disappoints. The wine selection is second to none.
Limited menu understandable due to Covid circumstances. Small plates and appetizers excellent.. The variety of wines by the glass remains exceptional. Always a great visit.
Amazing food, such a nice variety. The wait staff was informative and the chef came out to answer questions about food prep and recommendations for celiac allergy. The wine was great and the ambience was cozy , cool, and the wine bar side was so great. Can’t wait to return and get more of the chefs home made pickles!!
Angie was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave us great service. The food was wonderful!
Food was not as good as in the past. Lamb entrée was just average. Such a great place-they need to have more specials, especially on Friday and Sat nights
Super positive. Great experience
It was Monday night so very quiet which is what we like. Nice to have conversation without competing with loud music. Portions are very reasonable. I had the Lamb Osso Buco which was very good. However my friend was disappointed in the Shrimp dish, forgot the name but it was accompanied by greens n garlic I believe. Need some better seasoning. Otherwise all the other corses were excellent.
Food was delicious and we love the small plates they offer. Wonderful wine selection. Definitely one of our favorites!
Great small restaurant in a unique town. Food and service were great.
The food at the Vineyard Winebar is incredibly good. The staff there is very professional and knowledgeable when it comes to the selections of wine that are available. You will not be rushed when you're having your meal. Cap it off with their ice cream.
We had a nice evening. Everything would be 5 stars, except we ordered a bottle of our favorite wine to take with us, and we didn't check in the bag until after we left. It was not the wine we ordered, and it wasn't very good.
Enjoyed. Only negative was where we were seated. Near the door, cold burst of air each time it was opened.
