The Wooden Crate is a bridge between Farmer and Chef. This connection point evokes inspiration, knowledge and artistic expression while honoring the foundation of food production and local sustainability.

We welcome you to join us for dinner at our beautiful upcountry retreat property. We are the perfect setting for intimate celebrations and those looking for locally grown, wholesome fare. For dinner, we have two seatings, 6:30pm and 7:00pm, Tuesday through Saturday.
Please note that we occasionally close to provide full meal service to educational retreat groups staying at Lumeria Maui. Please make reservations for dinner at least 24 hrs in advance or give us a call before you swing by!

steaks need not be under a warming lamp - thus turning from medium to dry and hard------ Great service, super nice server. awesome place to eat healthy delicious food (other than meat.)

Someone really needs to rework this kitchen. Salad had almost no dressing. White rice? Vegetables cooked into mush. This is not complicated cooking yet the entire meal was disappointing. As locals of 36 years, we've had somewhat better at Wooden crate. Shame, as the setting is terrific. I could produce better w my eyes closed.

Beautiful outside seating, ambiance was nice & intimate. The food was good, salad bountiful, mahi curry good, fish serving was a little small...hubby had the ahi, which he asked to be seared, but came cooked thru. 🥺 The chocolate mouse was very dense...too rich to eat the whole serving. Banana cream pie was tasty...serving size on the small side. Overall, we were satisfied, but not "blown away".

Delicious fresh farm to table food. The tomato soup was divine and the steak, the steak was cooked perfectly. I was in heaven. There was a loud party of ppl which was a little disturbing only bc I was in quiet mode. The hostess graciously moved me, which i really appreciated.

Wooden Crate is the best hidden secret! The food is exceptional and the grounds are beautiful. The service is also amazing. If you’re looking for a serene setting away from the norm, this is it. Don’t miss this gem!

Fixed menu but all the options looked great! We ended up going with the Ribeye and Mahi. Both were absolutely incredible. The space is beautiful. Great service as well. Would def go back
